I had given Henry Roofing a 5-star yelp review several years back for coming out and being legit enough to give us good advice on an old house and not trying to sell us something we didn't need/could do ourselves. This year I finally got to actually give them some work on a different home and I am just as happy with their work as I was years ago with their decency! Concrete tile roof had some slipping tiles, Hugo came out to inspect and found a few spots needing repair, a rotted wood fascia board that needed replacement, plumbing vent flashings that needed replacement, and gutters that could stand to be cleaned out after 26 years without any love lol. He showed me clear pictures of his findings, got me a bid within 24 hours that was reasonable (less than I expected given all he showed me!), and was very responsive when I reached out to get scheduled. Originally he said they were booked until 12/05 but they ended up having a Saturday opening and knocking it out waaayyyy sooner than I ever dreamed, AND I'm picky and hard to please but the work looks great. read more

I asked for a quote including solar and he failed to do that. They were 2 hours late to give me a quote for 15k which is absurd. There was no mention of the distance between the existing wood from inside the ceiling in the attic. That would be a change order costing me more. read more

I first heard about them from neighbors here in Yountville and it seems like they do a fair amount of work in town. From start to finish, they were nothing but professional, even saving me money by telling me she didn't need new gutters after I had asked that to be added to the bid. Many companies would have ripped off the perfectly good gutters and been happy to charge me for new ones. They kept the worksite immaculately clean, they respected the very strict noise ordinance in town, communication was efficient and effective, and most important - the roof is doing great in the big storm this week. Hugo came to give me an estimate to replace the gutters on the South side of my house on 9/5/25. The estimate was very reasonable and he gave me an extensive color chart to pick the color I wanted. The repair date was 11/14, but said it could be earlier if they had an opening. On 10/13 two very nice fellows showed up unannounced and were ready to install the gutters. Unfortunately, they didn't speak English very well, so they got Hugo on the phone so I could talk to him. He said they had the materials and were ready to go, and of course I said yes! In just under an hour, they were done, and cleaned everything up which amazed me. Great luck as it started raining 20 minutes after they left! Quality of work was fantastic! Now their service and communication was a 0! We took out a specific type of loan that the loan would pay them direct. We had agreed to an amount plus another $1100 or so for dry rot (if needed). It took a week to get a hold of them just to get them to come collect! At the time of collection they demand my wife to pay another 2k+. We barely had that amount in our savings which is why we took out the loan. Not only did they expect 2k more that we did NOT agree to beforehand! We didn't have the opportunity to get it paid through our loan. Very poor customer service and communication! read more

The Henry Roofing team installed a new roof at my Napa home last week and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. We purchased a home last October, and Henry Roofing did the roof inspection and determined the roof needed to be replaced; it looked very weathered so we weren't surprised to hear we needed a new roof. The estimate was $10,800. And we ended up paying just a bit more, because dry rot was discovered once the old roof came off. These guys showed up on time every day, and worked hard. And at the end of each workday they spent some time sweeping up, they kept a really tidy work space. They went above and beyond by taking down our h20 solar panels, complementary. They also replaced some facia boards that had rotted, and reinforced our chimney with a metal covering that matches the new roof. I feel like these guys did a thorough job. The new roof looks great. The whole job took 4 days. They were in and out quickly and hauled all the trash away. They coordinated the county inspection when the job was completed and then delivered a card with proof of city inspection to me in the mail. Efren Rodriguez was the guy I worked with, he was super nice. I highly recommend these guys! Love that their local family business too. read more

I requested an estimate with Henry roofing, you have to call and leave a voicemail, they usually call back at the end of the day. The only challenging part was once you made an appointment, it was hard to call back if you have question or change the appointment, which I didn't mind. I had an errand when my appointment time came, but they were nice enough to wait for me. It was also raining heavily at the time. They came and inspected the water stain on the ceiling that appeared from the other year storm, they said it was dry and there was no leak. They also inspected the roof, which they said was good. Don't know if it's right or not but Henry roofing is doing a whole roof in my neighborhood and the tear off crew was being super careful not to damage the old tar paper I asked them and they said they were reusing it. I don't know about you but if I paid to have a roof replaced the last thing I want is the critical part of the roof to be old and used. I was looking to get my roof done, not by these guys even if they warranty there work the hassle and damages by cutting a corners just ain't worth it . Minus stars if was an option.. Where should I begin! The initial phone call to get my business was great, they came out to give me an estimate which was responsible. They came out and "SUPPOSEDLY" repaired the roof leak I had on over my bathroom. This was after the first rain storm we had the year, when the second short storm we had my tenant noticed the roof was still leaking. I contacted the should I say I TRIED contacting them with never an answer or return phone call or text. They charged my $700.00 for a repair they never fixed.. From getting a quote to cleaning up at the end, Henry Roofing was pleasant to work with, efficient and hard-working. The quote came in below the competition, yet they pointed out specific solutions to issues that the other guys down-played, such as the need for a full-width cricket. Every roofing company is busy right now, and I had to wait a few months for the work to be done. During that time, we were hit with the first atmospheric river. At 4am I discovered water dripping into my living room. At 7 am I left a message for my contact, Efren, and by 10am tarps had been put in place and the leaking stopped! They saved my new floor. I'm so thankful. I had some special needs related to dry rot in adjacent siding, and some tricky areas with trim and gutters. The time & materials cost was very reasonable - less than I feared. Now my roof and gutters are done and I am so pleased with the final result.
