Our roof Foreman Omar was fantastic. He went above and beyond to give us installation expectations and was able to communicate potential work order changes needed to bring our roof up to code. Omar also went above and beyond to work with helping clean up our neighbor's yard. There was windy weather that blew some of our material into their yard which didn't go unnoticed. We didn't know this till after roof completion and our neighbors were impressed by the thoughtfulness of the guys working. Our project Manager Johnathan was also a great source of help through this process and was very understanding and sympathetic to our unfortunate unknowns that needed to be fixed. From start to finish he was able to walk us through the difficult navigation of cost and what absolutely needed to be fixed right. He was direct, knowledgeable, and able to work through the hard conversations with us as owners and we greatly appreciated all the help we received. We received an all new roof, gutters, downspouts, and lots of wood work to bring everything up to code. We were impressed with all of their work from start to finish and extremely impressed with the finished results.

Fast forward to Jose showing up literally the SAME DAY I called when others that said WEEKS! We talked, he LISTENED (big thing to me) and did an estimate. I didn't even bother to get other estimates at this point because he was the ONLY one to show any concern about my house. The work was done in a timely fashion with no upselling at any point and when tiles were found to be cracked (previously undetected) he simply used the spares I had without trying to make a buck selling me new ones! Absolutely great service! Now, for the best part. Almost a year later I have the problems return. Jose comes back out, inspects and takes care of it all! Mind you, it was raining off & on and things are getting wet and he comes out the same day and does a temp repair to stop any damage. Thankfully the rain stopped. His schedule was jammed he told me and to expect them in a few days. But then they show up the next day and hammer it all out!! NOW THAT IS SERVICE. Don't hesitate, call Roofing Craftsmen.

He worked with me on pricing, communicated clearly, and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire process. Jose and his crew completed the roof on schedule, worked professionally, cleaned up thoroughly, and did an excellent job. I'm very happy with the results and expect the new roof to last for many years. Jose's honesty and integrity truly set him apart. I highly recommend Roofing Craftsman to anyone looking for quality work and a contractor they can trust. Five stars!

This was not an easy project, as access to the house's main roof is blocked by a front fence and a separate 2 car garage. So his team improvised a bridge from the garage's roof to the house roof. The attention to detail was ongoing throughout the project. They refurbished the skylights and house vents and then painted them a color that matched the shingles. The results have been life-changing. During this year's rainy season, the addition of a new gutter and downspout on my garage made a massive difference--no more pooling water and complete peace of mind. Mr. Govea was a pleasure to work with; he provided an honest, fair quote and even pointed out which repairs could wait if I wasn't ready for the full bid. I ultimately decided to do it all at once because the pricing was so reasonable. His son did a great job power washing, and the entire crew worked diligently every single day. While the project took slightly longer than originally estimated, I am beyond satisfied with the quality of the work and the exceptional attention to detail. They even touched up the paint. In fact, while on the roof, they noticed two cracked tiles and showed me photos. They'll be coming back to fix those next week at a reasonable price. They even gave a warranty on the work - though now I need it to rain to test out the clean gutters and sealing. I have no doubts though on their work. Before making such a major investment, he contacted Northern California Roofing for another opinion. Andy came out, thoroughly inspected the roof, and quickly identified the real issue that the other companies had missed. Instead of needing a new roof, the problem was simply a vent near the top of the house that needed to be properly repaired and sealed. Andy returned to ensure the repair was completed correctly and conducted a detailed inspection to make sure all roof vents were properly sealed. Andy was professional, knowledgeable, honest, and focused on finding the actual solution rather than selling an unnecessary roof replacement. His expertise saved my father-in-law thousands of dollars and gave us peace of mind knowing the issue was fixed correctly. If you're having any roofing issues, Northern California Roofing should be your first call. If you want an honest assessment and a proper fix, ask for Andy Adams.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed to be here writing a negative review…read more I truly wish this could be a glowing 5-star review, but one of the representatives of this company has made that impossible at this time. Northern California Roofing initially responded quickly and completed the repair in a timely manner. During the project, the senior project manager who was onsite stated that the roof leak requiring repair was due to poor workmanship at the original installation (Northern California Roofing was the company that had previously installed the roof). Based on that information, I expected the follow-up and billing questions to be handled thoughtfully and professionally. After the work was completed, I raised reasonable questions regarding workmanship, scope, and billing. Rather than those concerns being clearly addressed, my requests for clarification were met with dismissive and increasingly aggressive communication, including threats of a lien, before the issues were fully reviewed. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this matter directly, including requesting involvement from ownership and the senior project manager. When I contacted the senior project manager myself, it appeared that the concerns I raised had not been discussed with him, and he indicated he would be willing to review the matter and work toward resolution upon his return in January 2026. At no point did I refuse to pay a valid invoice. I simply asked for clear explanations and documentation before submitting final payment. Unfortunately, that was treated as an unwillingness to pay rather than an attempt to resolve legitimate concerns by Tyler Nottingham, who has stated he is initiating the pre-lien process. I believe this situation is still resolvable and hope Northern California Roofing will choose to address these concerns professionally and transparently. I am open to a constructive response from management and would welcome the opportunity to update this review if the matter is resolved appropriately.

They were polite, clear, did a great job, and agreed to return to do the same (replace nails with screws and add mid-point attachments) to ALL the downspouts on my house to ensure that I don't have any more falling downspouts in my future (seriously, it was scary - it looked as if the detached downspout was ready to fall and hit someone in the head).
