Rondo stated they could build our pool with landscaping within 3-4 months. We started in March and we had a pool and all landscaping done in May. We were swimming in June. They stuck to their timeframe perfectly. The entire staff within Rondo were just polite, professional, timely and more importantly informational and honest. We worked with Kyle, Janet, Rob, Holly and Jordyn. Every phase was explained to us in detail and any questions we had were answered. Our pool is fantastic! They have followed up with us several times in person to ensure everything is working correctly and that we understand how to manage things such as cleaning cycles, etc. with the equipment or by using an app on your phone. We have had just a wonderful experience! Our neighbors were not going to build a pool but seeing ours and observing the fast timeframe from beginning to end, they are now having Rondo come out to visit them for their pool building experience. We appreciate everyone we have and continue to work with in the Rondo family.

My wife and I have just completed the process of having our pool installed at our home in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This is our first time having a pool installed, so we were novices in regards to everything...especially regarding what to expect from the Pool builder. After conducting research on Pool companies, We decided to go with Rondo Pools and Spa. Bottom Line: We're glad that we did. Every phase of this process; from meeting with the sales consultant to completing the pool orientation after completion of the pool was SEAMLESS. My wife and I have heard and witnessed horror stories from neighbors regarding their pool installation experiences. From the date of excavation - 10/25/2022 to our pool completion orientation on 3/21/23, Ron Arden, our Rondo Project Manager, did an excellent job of managing our expectations and proactively communicating with us when timelines shifted to the right. My wife and I are thoroughly pleased with our experience and the quality of workmanship and professionalism from Rondo Pools and Spa and its associated vendors. I've chronologically listed our experience from excavation through pool orientation after completion: 10/25/22 - Excavation started - completed 10/26 11/1 - Plumbing started - completed 11/1 11/4 - Rebar team started - completed 11/4 11/7 - Electricians started - completed 11/7 11/8 - Plumbers returned - completed 11/8 11/10 - Ron (PM) assessed development and is scheduling pre shot Crete inspection for ~11/10 11/14 - Shot Crete inspection - 11//14 Passed 11/28 / RP Gas installed gas line to Pool Heater 12/1 - Inspection of Gas & electrical done (P) 12/2 - RP Gas returned to cover gas lines - completed 12/11 - Big Day / Shotcrete poured (completed)today 1/23/23 - Coping started today : completed 1/25 1/30 - Electricians returned and installed pool lights and completed wiring requirements 1/31 - Workers returned to cover gas line 2/2/ - Workers installed waterline (blue) tile 2/8/ - Workers arrived and cleaned pool and yard - Excellent job 2/23 Passed the FINAL FINAL Inspection (MY WIFE AND I WERE IN AND OUT OF TOWN FOR APPROX 10 DAYS) 3/14 Pebble tech installation completed 3/21/23 Pool final orientation and walk thru Scorecard: Sales: A Pool Design and selection: A Quality of Work: A Project Manager - (Ron Arden) Communication: A Sales Office Sales and Support: A Overall Score: A Thanks Rondo Pools for a job WELL DONE!!! This review is overdue but we had our pool built by Rondo almost 4 years ago and have been very happy with it! and we use it almost everyday, April through September, this has been a hot summer and we're still swimming in the middle of October! ;) If you're considering a pool build here are my tips to get the most out of it. Get the Pentair ScreenLogic controller so you can control the entire pool from your phone, it's one of the best apps I've used, very stable, and just so cool to be able to control EVERYTHING remotely, and even on the Apple Watch too! Very handy and fun! You can even fire up the hot tub before you get home so it's ready for you ;) Get the Ozone addition, I'm convinced it's done a great job keeping our pool crystal clear going on 4 years now, and allows you to run less chlorine too, so win-win. Get the pop-up cleaners, we're happy we did, not sure how much they help in comparison but like I said our pool has remained practically crystal clear going on 4 years now, and they're almost invisible, certainly less slightly than those roving shark cleaners dragging a hose behind them... The only time it gets junk in it is when the neighbor's landscapers blow leaves into our yard, even then the pool takes care of it in a few hours, and there's barely ever anything on the pool floor. We got the deck jets (3x @ $300) a bit frivolous but totally worth it for pool parties and/or kids, or just extra spray on those 110+ degree summer days... If you're getting a spa/hot tub pay attention when they lay out the jets, I wish I did, but no one asked me either. They put them in the middle on all sides but I would rather have them on the ends, or at least a couple, so you can lay back on the bench with a jet on your back, rather than just having to sit in the middle. If you're getting travertine edges or anything other than cool decking I guess, pay attention when they cut and lay it. The guy doing ours kept putting the cut edge facing out (with cut marks) rather than hiding it and leaving the organic side as the visible part, all along the edge of the pool. Thankfully I kept catching it and asked him to fix them multiple times, but frustrating. Get a "Baja deck" -we love ours! one side of the pool has a 3 foot deck only 18" deep, and with 2 holes in the bottom for a table and/or umbrella, your choice of location. It's great and super handy for parties or just lounging, and of course short kids ;) Speaking of umbrella holes, I wish I got more -a hole on the other side pool bench, and more in the cool deck around the pool too. I think they were only $50 and they've proved to be much better than umbrella stands and/or tables when the wind picks up. We've already had a couple tables blow over and umbrellas launch and/or break, but we leave the one in the Baja deck pretty much year-round, it's secure. Ideally I'd have a half dozen or do around the south edge of the cool decking to block the most sun, and can be moved around if necessary. Now I'm digging holes in the dirt around the edges and laying concrete to make my own holes, but wish I just had them in the deck to begin with.

I did my research when searching for a pool and Hardscape company. I spoke with, and got a quote from, nearly a dozen companies. I chose Rondo because they were able to accommodate what we were looking for within our budget. We were a little disappointed when we learned the completion time would take nearly a year but the CEO called me himself to explain why the time frames were so far out. I get it, these are tough times. We were given a start date of August 30th when we signed in April. However,I woke ip one day in June and they were excavating and digging the hole. We started June 29th and completed around October 15th. They did our travertine as well and it looks gorgeous. Im giving 4 stars because there were a few things that we felt could have been better. The communication from the construction representative could have been better. We would email and there would be no response. I get that you can't give time frames but a courtesy response would be great. Also, our heater to our spa is not working. However, we never even knew. They recognized the issue and had sent their warranty company out. That gentleman was so helpful but he wasn't able to fix the issue. He comes back tomorrow and our fingers are crossed he gets it repaired. Overall, we were pleased with Rondo. We did not experience any significant issues and they were tentative to us. Even sent a second person to help us learn our pool because we were so lost. John, our project manager, was great as well. He always provided us with next steps. The contracted workers were great and respectful. Our beautiful pool below.

I was so impressed with Rondo Pools! Their process from start to finish was so organized and professional. They communicated every step of the way and always kept us in the loop. The workmanship was excellent and each team that arrived was efficient and quick. The end result is a beautiful pool that looks and operates perfectly! We are so happy we went with Rondo. We had three companies we got bids from and I can't imagine that the other two companies could have made the process as smooth as Rondo. I can tell the quality also surpassed what we would have received from others as well.

I met with several pool companies prior to choosing Rondo. I ended up choosing Rondo because of their customer service approach. It started on a Saturday when I was driving by their office and decided to stop in, they are closed on Saturday's but their VP Steve was in the office and let me in when I walked in unannounced through the unlocked front door. Steve talked to me for 20 minutes telling me about the company, the process, current construction time frames etc... He then took my info and said he would have someone call me on Monday. On Monday, I got a call from a designer, on Wednesday the designer came to my house and we walked the lot. I gave him one picture of a specific wall and water feature I wanted, then I threw several ideas at him of what I envisioned. One week later we had a plan that was spot on, approx 2 weeks later we met and finalized the plan. My project manager was Anthony and he's flat out amazing. If you choose Rondo, ask that Anthony get assigned to you. He returns all calls same day or next morning, and he's always on time. He has many years of construction experience and as the project moved forward, he made several little changes to enhance the look of my pool because he was not happy with either the initial installation of something or how it looked from certain angles. One example was he had additional tile installed on a side wall that is rarely seen from the main house. However, Anthony said if people sit over to the side in chairs, it would be visible, and he did that w/ no charge to me. He then had an entire row of water line tile removed and reinstalled so that it had a more random pattern which allowed it to transition better to the next portion of the pool. In order to keep things moving, he handled some projects himself that I'm sure someone else would normally do. He deserves a raise or nice year end bonus! As with any project, there will be delays and construction issues etc... I specifically had two of those and on both I called the owner Kevin. Kevin called me back the same day both times, one of those calls was on a Friday at 5pm'ish. He stepped in and gave me a commitment and met that commitment each time. I read many of the reviews and see comments about the length of the project. In all fairness, labor and material availability is beyond the control of most companies at some point. I would rather wait and have it done right, then rush it and have quality issues down the road. Since completing the pool, I have had a couple of minor follow up requests, each one has been completed in a satisfactory period of time. Overall, the project has exceeded my expectations.

I've tried to work this out with Sunset Spa, but they have decided to ignore all my emails and calls, including Dave Rempfer the owner of Sunset Spa. NOTE: The ROC of Arizona has no licensed on file for Sunset Spa to perform work on Spa's. This is what the ROC of AZ told me, so now I am having that investigated by the ROC. Before they work on your spa ask for their license number. Also, get it in writing from them that they will provide you service, if you need it after your warranty runs out. Do not take their word for it (see attached email where they advised not servicing out of warranty spas). The company was okay until they damaged my spa after doing a repair on it and refuse to correct it. They want me to clean up the damage or pay them to do the work. I tried to work this out with Matt from the Goodyear Store who referred me to Sunset Spa's Customer Service Team, who refused to take ownership of what they did to my spa, instead they state its Water Chemistry that caused the issue. I've been using the same water for 5 years. The issue is they came out and did a repair that I brought to their attention 2 years ago when I was under warranty. They kept giving me chemicals and telling me to try this, than finally they took ownership of the issue and sent a tech to fix it. This tech used a Blue Glue Adhesive in the repair process, which was huge because after 2 years the problem kept getting worse. After the repair was done the spa had several leaks, which I took video of but cannot attach here. They sent the tech back out, she repaired the leak with a Blue substance. A couple days later my spa has blue particles all over the place that are coming out from the jets and then I felt the inside of the spa and 100% of the spa include inside and outside of all the jets with something that feels like a low grade sandpaper, however per another company I was told its the adhesive they used and that she filled it immediately after repairing it. Since no one would respond I then went into the store in Goodyear and Asked Matt if I could speak to Dave the owner. Matt refused to give me any contact for Dave and said he would have Dave call me. I forwarded all my correspondence on this matter to Matt's email address and told Matt Please have him call me asap. No contact from Dave, so I reported them to the BBB at https://www.bbb.org/us/az Finally Dave Calls me, but its not to fix what they did, I don't even think Dave truly realizes that this is a real problem from the repair. All Dave would say to me over and over again "You reported me to the BBB. . OMG" over and over. When I realize his call was not to help me but to beat me up, I said "Yes Dave. What did you expect me to do? No one would return my call or emails. My spa has damage from the repair you all did". However, all Dave could say was, "I'm going to sue you in Small Claims Court". I then told Dave, "you cannot sue the truth. I have proof". Dave than said "I don't care I'm responding to this BBB notice and writing it off as a loss". I am just shocked at how closed off he was to "we have an issue here". Their OWN Customer Service team (see email screenshot) told me to use Not 1 but 2 FULL BOTTLES of PH DOWN and to wait 2 days before draining it, cleaning it and refilling it. They state in their email to expect Blue Flaking. If you look up what PH DOWN is used for, PH DOWN is used to remove Glue Adhesive and if you look up what color the adhesive is that Spa Companies use, It's BLUE. So, Sunset Spa is 100% telling me how to remove the glue that was used in the repair process, BUT than telling me the Water that I've been using in this SPA for 5 years with NEVER having an issue with is the problem. I am shocked at how closed minded Dave is on this issue. This is the Truth. My problem with me doing the work and not them is that PH DOWN Removes Glue, so if they used the wrong stuff to put all the plumbing/piping back together on my spa than what happens if I do the work and it leaks because PH DOWN soaked for 2 days dissolving it. Just beware. If Dave wants to rethink this and have a civil conversation as opposed to yelling at me for reporting to the BBB and threaten to sue me over the truth, than I'm open to it, but if he can't see the problem and own it, well we will not get anywhere. Very sad it came to this. Just know if you have an issue and if the company will not work with you, you can report to the BBB at: https://www.bbb.org/us/az Also the Attorney Generals Office at: https://www.azag.gov/ to file a consumer complaint. I am shocked that Dave decided to bully and threaten me with Small Claims Court, but you can't sue the Truth. The truth is on my side and my spa in its current condition is the proof.

(and even after I asked her to stop she still kept doing it) I would say I wasted probably an hour and a half on the phone, total. They eventually transferred me to a supervisor and then I find that my return was flagged in the computer as "unacceptable". HUH??? no other explanation given. They then sent the correct cover but I will NEVER order online again with them. look, any company will make mistakes but it's how you correct it that matters. Their system is terrible

I gave Leslie's 3 stars because the people that work there are very nice and as helpful as they can…read morebe. However, I purchased a Jacuzzi salt water system for my pool from Leslie's because it was the Leslie Brand. So one would believe that it would be supported for a few years, at least long enough to get through the warranty. That is not the case. The system died close to a year later, and they sent someone out to check it- BUT... they no longer support the salt water system. The 'Leslie Brand' was dumped without notifying any customers!! Now the cell went out and I have no way to get it fixed. I believe I paid for a longer warranty, however, without a company to warranty it, that is meaningless. Next time I need to purchase an expensive unit, I will avoid Leslie's Pool Supply, and I recommend that you do the same. No telling when they decide to dump another expensive product!
