Although the food satisfied our hunger, I did find both dishes to be on the greasier side. The server mentioned that if you order a medium or large pizza, you can split the pizza between two specialty toppings, so we ended up with half "The Olympian" and half "Kicking Chicken." The BBQ sauce on the "Kicking Chicken" was too sweet and overpowering for my liking, so I unfortunately did not enjoy it. However, they did provide a generous amount of meat throughout the entire pizza. As a heads-up, the fountain machine was broken when we visited, but they did provide affordable soda cans as substitute. A friend and I stopped in for dinner at Romio's while in town for a conference. It is located very close to the convention center, so it is convenient for those of us coming from out of town. We were greeted quickly and found a seat. It took a while for our order to get taken as there was only one waitress for the whole place. Service was pretty poor the whole time, although our server was really trying. The menu is pretty broad with lots of crowd pleasing options. The food was fine. I liked the pesto and cheese garlic bread. The Hawaiian pizza was just okay. The Diet Cokes were awful. I saw the server split a can of Diet Coke between two glasses and top the rest off with plain carbonated water, so the taste was way off. Pricing is pretty standard. Food: I love mushrooms so naturally, I ordered the mushroom supreme pizza. The pizza came out quick, hot, and mushroomy! Yum! Service: Our server was running a one man show by taking our order, running the bar, bringing out the food, and maybe even helping cook the food. I think I would have had a better experience if there was another person to help. Some of my friends wanted to order from the bar and they physically had to move from the table and order at the bar to get their drinks. Ambiance: The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately this is the closest pizza place to me, but the service here is pretty bad. I ordered some food and came to pick it up and the store was closed. I wasn't aware of the hours and when I called the store 5 minutes after closing there was no answer. I called again during business hours and they weren't able to give me a new order of food. Unfortunately, it seems as though this business does not care to maintain satisfaction from their customers, especially when there are so many other options in the area that are better. I could understand why it's empty in there most of the time. I'm sure this eventually will just become another dough zone or something in due time, but I guess they can't say they weren't given the chance to do better. The person I dealt with both times was a woman, so maybe this is just representative of this one person working at this establishment, but maybe they should have someone else answering the phones. WOW! This little gem is two doors down from the hotel we are staying at. We went to what we thought was just a pizza place. It is mor than that. It wasn't very busy and one person was running the counter and waiting tables. I ordered a chicken dish off the no or low carb section of the menu and paired it with a cup of homemade split pea soup, my husband got the house calzone and we got a side of cheese bread. The split pea soups was very flavorful and served piping hot. The calzone came out and was like a 10 inch pizza folded in half. Stuffed with all the toppings. The only negative on this was the menu didn't say it came with onions (it did) so husband picked them out. The crust was definitely fresh and crisp completing this wonderful meal. The chicken dinner I ordered had chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, mozzarella cheese all in a fabulous white sauce that was so flavorful. It came out so out I felt the heat just emitting off the bowl. The flavor experience in my mouth was amazing. I enjoyed each savory bite. The cheese bread was flavorful. I order the small there was four slices. This restaurant really know how to use their seasonings. I was impressed. The pricing was fair my dish was $18.95 and the calzone was $15.95. Located right on Pike Street, Romio's is a pizzeria with full restaurant vibes of an Italian eatery. They specialize in both pizzas and pastas and execute both with amazing flavors. Walking in they have a full bar that is operating at limited capacity due to pandemic precautions, but their lunch specials are still a must try. I highly recommend their Chef Special Sandwich! Romio's Pizza is right next to the hotel I stayed in for my trip to Seattle. I placed an online order for the pita pizza, which was listed in the sandwich section of the menu. It is essentially a pizza using a pita as the crust. I had Canadian bacon and pepperoni as toppings, and the pizza was loaded with these toppings. I could only finish half of it.
