lasagna and seafood pasta
Melany L.

The food isnt good. I went with my aunt who ordered this pasta with seafood (salmon, fish, shrimp, asparagus, spinach, etc) and it tasted bad. The fish in it had that weird fish taste. The Lasagna i ordered the meat tasted a bit of sweet and like ravioli , the pasta layering was also very bad. The bread given was cold and hard. The prices are also expensive for the quality. As we were ready to leave asking for a check we were asked if we wanted dessert. As i told the waiter countless time no she kept insisting and insiting where my aunt then felt bad. I had a cake at home for her since she was visiting the country. Because she was being asked she just told her you and so she ordered a tiramisu and it has to be one of the worst ones weve tried and for such price ($10) only a little piece. Wouldnt come back.

Ate here today for dinner with parents, sister and cousin to try this place out for the first time. We had tried, ordered and shared together different variety of dishes that it tasted really good and delicious. We couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Lobster pasta [portions are large]!

Romeo's Italian is a restaurant that falls right on the edge of little Bangladesh. I've passed by this place many times, and felt that it was an odd placement to have Italian amongst the south Asian restaurants surrounding it. Without even looking at Yelp, (something I religiously do before going to a restaurant), me and friend decided we would randomly try it. We got one of the special of the day dishes, which was lobster pasta. It was $60 and it came with an entire full size lobster. The pasta included other seafood such as clams, calamari, shrimp etc. The portions were very large that we were able to share one dish and take some home. Note: this dish is made with white wine as indicated in the menu but we asked them to not use the wine for our dish. Something fun about this place is there was live entertainment in the evening that we attended. The man singing/DJing was entertaining to watch. There was also a karaoke option too that the entertainer kept vocalizing about but no one came forward (small shy crowd). Not sure if this is an everyday thing either, so check for that with the restaurant if you want this option. Staff were very friendly.

2nd time here & service was really good. Got the lobster bisque soup which was too salty for me & had that seafood smell. Also got antipasto Caldo which comes with shrimp, clams, stuffed mushroom & eggplant rollatini. Everything was pretty good except the stuffed mushroom didn't contain bell peppers which I forgot to tell the server to omit. Got chocolate soufflé which I thought was supposed to be like molten lava cake but it's supposed to be fully cooked. It was still good but I wish I'd known the difference before.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. All the workers were nice and polite giving it a good vibe.

It's the kind of dark hole where a man can sit and let the hours bleed out without anyone asking too many questions. Her guido friend is sitting across from me. A wild bastard, a criminal type who's raised his share of hell and walked away laughing. A guy's guy. He likes me, I like him because we speak the same language, the language of men who have taken a few hits and know how to hit back. I'm the tall classy type, hes the short booming vouce you hear from miles away. He's drinking bourbon, cheap heat to burn out the cobwebs. I've got rye in my shot glass, sharp and bitey. To wash it all down, a pair of Narragansetts sitting on the scarred wood like two cold anchors. She's sitting there sipping some fancy "Sweater Weather Sangria" out of a stemless glass, sweet and red, watching the candlelight flicker off the condensation, listeningto our conversation. Over in the corner, there's a wall built entirely out of wine bottles, rows upon rows stacked in the shadows behind glass like a monument to every drunk who ever lived. Someone mentioned absinthe, or maybe it was just the gloom making things warp at the edges, the kind of green-tinted haze that brings the hallucinations on if you stay too long. But we aren't leaving yet. We throw back the shots, take a pull of the beer, and let the room buzz around us. It's a good night. A rare one.

The place is pretty large despite it looking somewhat narrow outside but there's a lot of seating inside as well as some seating outside in the case the place gets crowded, fortunately I didn't have to worry about that. Credit to the service, two waitresses went above and beyond their duty to made sure I had a satisfactory time at their Restaurant and I will always give credit where it's due to the wait staff doing a solid job. Even though I'm giving this place a 5 star rating, there were two small grievances. I did have to wait for some time for my food to get to my plate, like an almost 15 minute wait, but for what it's worth, the food was solid. The other one, which was a small annoyance was that the empanadas I ordered along with the Pollo A La Brasa were forgotten and if I hadn't brought that to the waitresses attention, I would've went without my appetizers. They did make it up by giving me a complimentary margarita. I do appreciate the gesture, but I'm not a strong drinker, I'm a lightweight and after one sip of that, it was powerful enough to almost knock me out. I tried to endure it but I only finished half of that before giving up. Despite that, just the show of them caring for the customer is enough for me to know that they value their patrons here. That's more than enough for me. I like the vibe of the place, it has a Latin fusion feel but majority of their food is affordable. I'd make a 2nd visit here in due time.

The steak was tender and I devoured it right up. I also enjoyed the green sauce that they put on top of fries. Their happy hour menu is top tier. I love every single one of their frozen drinks. The service is a hit or miss. The busser was so quick to take away our dishes even when we were still working on it. He even took my godsister's margarita without her noticing, even though there was some left. I'd understand if they needed the table back and wanted us to wrap up but the dining room was pretty empty. Cleaning up aggressively while we're clearly still eating just makes an unpleasant experience.

Our group came here to celebrate a happy occasion with such good vibes, so the vibes were definitely off the charts. The little "dance floor" they carved out in the middle barely suffices as one, but I guess they really made do with what they had. They definitely try to overpack this place to the max. Food was amazing, though. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, like the yuca corquettes (probably my favorite), coconut shrimp, shrimp ceviche, guac, and the tostones rellones. They were all so, so good and not overly expensive, that we made another order of everything. My drink (Mori Sanado) was very good and came with a cute fish-shaped glass. It's an overstimulating place, to say the least, so I'd mentally prepare for that alone. Since we came on a Saturday night, it was expected that it was a party vibe but I expect it's the same during brunch. You really do have to come with good company to be able to slightly enjoy this place. I wouldn't come here with people that I expect to have a conversation with, because you really can't hear anything.

That said, the service was great. We were able to get a table right away without a reservation, and our waitress was super nice and welcoming. Our food also came out quickly.
