This place is really cool. First time here and we ordered 2 of the coffee flavored ice cream. Will definitely come back again.

This place was delicious, I was glad we got to stop by. The process is very interesting to watch with the cream freeze and be rolled by the workers. This would receive a 5/5 but it was definitely pricier for ice cream coming in at over $12

Stumbled upon this place during my lunch at work. It was wonderful the staff who was working was extremely nice which made it a pleasant experience. I have had rolled ice cream before and this place is a great price point compared to other rolled ice cream shops. Typically I would spend $15+ else where. Here my ice cream came out to $13 (including tip). You can build your own or you can purchase a preset mixed ice cream. In total it took maybe about 5-7 minutes for the ice cream to be made. There was no one there when I came, but can see how it might become intense if it was a weekend or even at night. I ordered French vanilla with strawberry and banana mix-in, topping were chocolate chips, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The guy added two cute little teddy grahams in the whipped cream which I thought was sweet. 10/10 would recommend. The only critique I would have is maybe to ask for extra strawberries if you are getting it mixed in. There is only outside seating because the space is small also there is no bathroom inside so keep that in mind if you have little ones. Other than that it is a great little hidden gem.

Dang this ice cream is good. It's $12 so yes it's pricey for ice cream but you do get a mini show of them rolling it out. The service here was nice, they had a smile and gave great customer service. I decided on the Remix Ur Birthday Signature. It ended up tasting like a chocolate mixed vanilla cake. I like that this place actually lets you watch them roll it because I've been to places where they just do it in the back. Ice cream turned out visually great as well as being delicious. If you want cheap ice cream then this place ain't it, but if you want something fun and tasty definitely worth a try!

I usually come here during my lunch break. Really enjoy watching the staff make the rolls. Never a long line, which I'm surprised because it's delicious. Then again, I visit only on weekdays. I think the price is good for the amount they serve too.

Ice cream craving!! Where should we go?! Rolling Factory was busy. They were slightly under staffed so it took a bit longer than expected (15mins or so) but they were working so hard, so I couldn't get upset. They had many signature creations on their menu, and you could also create your own. For the price, it make more sense to get a creation with multiple toppings ($11) than build one yourself with one topping ($10). I got the Coffee Days with a chocolate base substitute. The store associate didn't seem annoyed with my request to substitute. She was friendly, patient, and didn't seem stressed despite the large number of orders ahead. Ice cream was pretty good, and it was fun watching the ice cream roll into place. But did it live up to the hype? Meh... After starting to eat it, the rolls started melting and looked like regular ice cream. It's actually not a lot of ice cream, so it's a good way for portion control for the store, while keeping their prices high. Will likely come back if I'm in the area and craving ice cream again, but wouldn't come out of my way. Worth a visit if in the area.

My friend and I already had dinner nearby, but we wanted to continued chatting and needed some sweets for our other stomach lol The menu had bubble waffle but we were disappointed they were not serving it the night that we went. So we decided to share the Oreo All Around. The presentation is very pretty, the French vanilla ice cream itself is actually not that sweet at all. What was sweet were all the decoration, which has crushed oreo, pocky sticks, torch marshmallow, a big waffle piece plus some whip cream and fudge. The ice cream does take a little longer to "roll" vs a regular scoop shop. I think our order was ready maybe 10 minutes later. This dessert definitely perfect for sharing and hope they they will serve bubble waffles next time. Dine in is not available as of August 2022, but there are outdoor seatings.

Great treat after dinner! I had a company dinner, and after dinner we all went here to get dessert. This place isn't very fast, but to be fair, we had at least 10 orders for the place to make. But the ice cream was delicious! They had a lot of options to choose from, and the toppings combined well with the ice cream flavor. Overall, highly recommend this place! Great service and dessert!

This place has the BEST TASTIEST and CREAMIEST rolled ice cream I've ever had. The thing tho is that they were closed for a while without any reason given to loyal patrons. They used to be closed on sundays too. The portions aren't huge but I personally think that the portion is big enough for one person. My favorite part is how they put gramh crackers on top. Makes it super cute! We miss this place. It's $11 per order so it is kinda steep. salt and straw down the street may be a more price reasonable ice cream spot.

Good service and good ice cream. We had the Oreo all around and coffee day. Surprisingly not as sweet as you'd think, which is great.

Ok. Food is wide selection. Many toppings and mixings. They have one size only $10. Oomph. The process is unique. The taste is worth trying. It is a long process that even if no line like when we arrived at 645 pm it took 15-20 minutes to prepare.

Wow! So yummy! I ordered the Rolling Cheesecake ice cream and was not disappointed. You may want to give yourself time if you pop in any night after dinner - but worth the wait!

cake batter ice cream, brownies, Fruity Pebbles, chocolate drizzle with Pocky and perfectly toasted marshmallow. Awesomelicious

The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!

I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). EVERYTHING was fresh. Everything was tasty. And it got the stamp of approval from the baker friend. The cream cheese and sour cherry stuffed bakery literally disappeared in 10 minutes, and that thing was not small by any means. I returned to this same place the following week to pick up some savory baked goods for some friends, and the owner was at the shop and was so kind and so proud of his products (as he should be). All the flavors were very good except for the Cinnamon which I thought was very light in taste. Since I was driving, I chose an ice cream shake instead of a cup or cone. Caramel Macchiato was my pick! It had a really nice caramel flavor with coffee bean bits. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't pile up the ice cream to the top of the lid. It stopped at the top of the cup. I felt I was shorted some ice cream unfortunately. Hence, 4 stars! Nevertheless, Nick was amazing. His service was fantastic. Wonderful conversation and experience.
