We are not Asian and I attempted to make them once and failed miserably but this place looks like it has all the ingredients and supplies I need to make them next time! I got a spicy tuna onigiri to eat in the car and it was good. The spam musubi was also good. Not outrageously delicious but good! I'd come back.

I would say the place needs a bit of up-keeping. The decor, bathroom, and waiting area felt underwhelming. Of course, I'm not there for the bathroom nor decor but I think for a conclusive fine dining experience-- all of these things should be considered as it contributes to the ambiance and atmosphere. Overall a nice experience for the price and we enjoyed ourselves.

The tofu teriyaki had a very slimy texture and would have tasted better if the tofu was crispy. The texture was just weird. The California roll was standard. The salmon had no flavor with the sauce and could have been seared and spiced a little better. The gyoza was standard as well but the sauce was a little odd (thick and creamy as opposed to more of a soy sauce vinegar). The staff was kind and they had complimentary candy for folks. Food was pretty good overall and we would come back and try other things.

I call ahead, so it is usually pretty quick, but lately they take longer than the given time for pick up. It is not the biggest deal though because the employee working the front end is usually pretty nice. I also like that they have a stamp card as well. I usually order their California Hand Roll, Sake Maki Hand Roll, Sake Maki Roll, and Sake Nigiri. I usually enjoy their salmon because it is fresh, but the last couple of times I went, the salmon did not taste fresh with a slight upset stomach. Hopefully the quality gets better again because I used to really like this spot.
