My first time here at this location and Eric, the cashier made my day. He was very welcoming and made sure he gave me extra love. I ordered the 4 Taquitos chicken combo with rice and beans. I loved the flavor of the rice and the OG ingredients on the Taquitos were fire. The donut churro was hot and fresh. I did not care for the beans that much. The place is very cute inside with nice bright orange colors. Plenty of seating outside and a few inside. Their strawberry drink was delicious. Next time I will try the taco salad. Easy parking and located adjacent to other eateries and the Amazon Fresh Grocery Store. read more

Great menu selection. Taco burger was wonderful but ambiance was lacking a bit (trash being taken out in middle of restaurant), taquitos were soggy (likely due to how much sauce was piled on - prob should recommend people use corn vs flour), also had to run over to Amazon store for a Diet Coke (personal preference but more saying since I've seen places have cans as an option for non-Pepsi drinkers). We don't live that close but I would definitely try again! read more

Tried this place last night and it was very good! We ordered the family deal with 10 tacos and fries--did half beef and half potato, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The churro donut was delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. We'll definitely be back! read more

Unnecessarily complicated. That or the person at the counter needs a lot of training. Sauce is 0.80/2oz cup. Nothing fancy about the meal but pricey. Skip this place and hit the classics like Pepe's and Tito's. Any Mexican spot can make a Taquitos just as good. I don't believe this franchise model is going to make it at the price point of the food. read more

I was driving back to work when I decided to pull up lunch options on the map. The first thing that popped up was Roll Em Up Taquitos. I looked at the distance and saw it was only 300 feet away. No hesitation, I literally swerved across three lanes to hit the offramp. I didn't even know what they served at that point, but something about it just called me in. This place is bright, bold, and has a totally unique vibe. It's fast casual, but you can tell they're doing something special. I didn't get a chance to ask if they have other locations since it was busy during lunch rush, but it felt like the kind of spot that could easily become a local favorite or blow up into something big. I ordered the 2-side taquitos, one chicken and one beef, and got it fully loaded. These taquitos come wrapped in your choice of tortilla and are topped with Tiff's hot sauce, Ryan's jalapeño ranch, fresh guacamole, mixed shredded cheese, and house-made queso. Instead of being crispy and crunchy like most taquitos, the tortilla was soft and slightly chewy, which actually made it better. It held all those toppings like a warm, savory blanket. The beef was juicy and full of flavor, and the chicken was super tender. Both were seasoned just right. On the side, I had the Street Corn, which came coated in creamy sauce and a generous dusting of crushed spicy chips, giving it a mix of heat, tang, and crunch. It's served on a stick in a cup. Honestly, it's one of the best street style corn I've ever had. Between the two loaded taquitos and the corn, I was totally full and completely happy. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. This was one of those accidental finds that turns into a new favorite. If you're ever near one, pull over and go for it. Even if it means swerving across traffic like I did, it's worth it. read more

My fiancé and I saw Roll 'Em Up Taquitos popup on IG so we knew we had to try this place for ourselves! Happy to report that this place is just as delicious as it looks. Shoutout to Brian S. who helped us order and gave us the backstory to the restaurant! We each got 4 taquito combo and they let you mix and match your taquitos. The options are chicken, beef, and potato. We ended up getting some chicken, beef, and potato. Our favorites were the chicken and potato, but you can't go with any of the choices. You can order their spicy sauce on the side in case you don't want your order smothered in it. You can order your taquitos OG style as well which is lettuce, cheese, and their own sauce. In addition, we ordered the carne asada which were also bomb. Anytime we're craving some rolled taquitos we're definitely coming back here! Already looking forward to our next visit. read more

I was excited to try Roll Em Up Taquitos because taquitos and flautas are one of my favorite food to eat. I had high expectations especially due to the good reviews of this restaurant, but unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food as much. It did not taste authentic to me. I ordered a 5 pack combo flautas to share with my boyfriend. I got 4 beef and 1 chicken. The combo comes with a small serving of rice, beans and a fountain soda. I also ordered an esquite. The flautas were not terrible, but I have had way better ones. I also did not like that the toppings weren't evenly distributed, leaving me with 1 flauta without any toppings. I got the food to go and I was thinking they would serve the rice and beans in a sealed container, but instead it was served in the same container as the flautas and half of the beans tipped over on top of the rice. The rice and beans were actually pretty good. The esquites tasted horrible. It tasted so plain and I think they either forgot to put mayo or only put very little of it. They have Pepsi products for the soda, but also had Stubborn root beer, cream soda and some agua fresca. Prices were expensive especially given the small serving size of the beans, rice and esquites. Customer service was good. Staff were friendly and nice. Unfortunately, I can't see myself returning here due to having other better options for taquitos and flautas. read more

Great food and even better service. Rakshit helped us out, he was very friendly and informative for our first time going. The queso fries were perfect and the flour taquitos were better than the corn! #flautas read more

Hours on Yelp don't match information on the internet. They were closed when we tried to have dinner on a Thursday night.

We experienced an unacceptable situation this afternoon when the staff member working at the counter, Rick, catcalled my wife as she entered to order lunch. When she rightfully confronted him, he appeared embarrassed but was notably unapologetic. The incident was completely inappropriate. Afterward, he added, "This is my family's restaurant, and my brother and I are working today," which only made the interaction feel more uncomfortable. We felt it was necessary not only to escalate the matter with a review so management was aware, but also to warn other patrons about our experience. read more

On a Sunday morning in early May, my sister and I was nearby and decided to try this new place. We were only customers at 10:41am. The staff person nicely greeted us and explain the menu to us. We ordered churro donut, 2 taco combo with rice, taquitos. Inside interior is nice and clean with music playing in the background. While waiting, the nice staff have me a sample of beans which taste good and explain they cook it long time. The fried tacos shell was not greasy and taste light not heavy. The churros donut taste like a donut with brown sugar and cinnamon. The fries are fried nicely with a coating which was good too. I also liked their Jamaica drink and pineapple drink. Next time, I will try their taco burger. read more

These are the best taquitos in L.A.. Texture: The crispy rolled tortillas are light and slightly puffy, with the most satisfying delicate crunch. Taste: I prefer the beef over chicken but both were very good. The beans and rice are well prepared. I recommend dipping chips in their Fry Sauce. Talent: The staff are friendly and interactive. Hard not to feel good when there's a bubble machine just outside. read more

I've seen the place and finally made it in. The basic menu is taquitos, tacos, and taco burger. I ordered the taco burger which reminded me of Naugles (not around anymore) so nice to see a place have one. You have an option of 1 or 2 burgers as the combo. I went with one which came with fries and drink. I added the churr donut too. The burger is messy but pretty good. The use a sweet bun which is nice with the seasoned meat along with cheese and lettuce. The fries are nice and crispy. They give you some fry sauce an jalapeño ranch. The fry sauce is sort of a mayo and ketchup mix. The service was pretty fast so didn't have to wait too long. The restaurant is very bright and has a good amount of seating inside and outside. The churr donut was not very good. It just fell apart and hard to eat. read more

I have wanted to try the taquitos for a while and it was worth the wait. Susu was more than happy to help a newbie such as myself navigate the menu and made several suggestions for me. I had chicken and beef taquitos in flour and corn and all four were delicious. The rice and beans had just the right amount of heat. Added plus, this is a dog friendly restaurant with a good sized patio for fur babies. Susu also offered a free pup cup for my baby. Service is excellent and the restaurant is family owned and run. Susu has ideas for adding more ambiance and events to bring the community together. We will definitely be returning. read more

I've been following them on social media for over a year and was very excited there was finally a location in the valley. When we arrived, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee (a manager, I think?) who was training a new employee. Very friendly. Immediately asked us if it was us that smelled good, which was a little odd, because he was very insisted it was us wearing essential oils or something from Victoria's Secret. Nice compliment, but more intense an interaction than I was expecting/prepared for, especially considering neither myself or my husband were wearing any perfumes. Anyway, after similarly enthusiastic back and forth with taking our order, we ended up trying both the mild and spicy chicken and beef corn taquitos, carne asada fries, crunchy taco, rice, beans, and a churro donut. Taquitos were good but be warned that they put 2 or 3 sauces directly on the taquitos, along with shredded cheese. I personally prefer to dip, so next time, I'll ask for sauces on the side. Both the beef and chicken were well seasoned and the taquitos were crunchy, but overall, nothing special. Taco was the same. I wish they had shredded instead of ground beef, but that's just personal preference. Nothing wrong with ground beef. Rice was flavorful. Beans were flavorful, but a little bit soupy and spicy. My husband really enjoyed the carne asada fries. They were tasty and super crispy even after being covered in delicious toppings. And what my husband said was the star: the donut. It was fluffy and not overly sweet. Overall, this place was good but nothing extra special. If it were closer to me, I'd pop in, but I wouldn't make the drive from North Hollywood to the eastern edge of Pasadena for it again. Total for a 2 taquitos combo (rice, beans, drink), 2 taquitos, 1 taco, asada fries, 1 donut, and a 15% tip was 44 dollars. read more

We were super excited to see they opened up a roll em up taquitos in Pasadena. We first tried it down in Irvine but that location closed sadly. We got 3 flour taquitos - one of each (beef, chicken and potato). Our favorite was the potato and the sauce on top was yummy and spicy! We also got the asada fries which were delicious. I love how crispy the fries are. The only thing that didn't hit was the taco salad. It was super tiny and had almost no lettuce... it was basically just a bowl with lettuce on top. The horchata also didn't taste great. I tried to Jamaica though and that was good. I'm sure they still have some kinks to work out since they're new but the taquitos and fries definitely lived up to the expectation I had read more

We came Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The first thing I noticed was the entrance and how uncomfortable it was to place an order because there's no room at the counter because it's right up against the front door. So right away you notice the design flaw. The inside is fairly small, a bar area and some tables. They have some outside seating. The only issue I have there is because it was such a warm and sunny day, the portico over the patio didn't provide a lot of shade. The food. It was all delicious and amazing. Would definitely go back. We ordered taquitos, tacos, cheese, fries, and everything was delicious. The taco was just a ground beef taco with cheese, lettuce, ground beef grease included the only flaw there was that the taco shell was all cracked and fell apart the minute I picked it up. But otherwise it was delicious. In fact, I added it to my queso fries And eat it that way. I did not order taquitos, but the others in my family did. They had potato and chicken and said they were absolutely delicious. We had ordered two kids meals and they were supposed to come with chips and salsa, but they didn't get it instead they gave them rice. The rice was very tasty and the beans that came with the taquito combo. They were good but they had a big spice to them. Will definitely be going back. read more

Stopped in at Roll 'Em Up today and I was blown away by experience. Before I even walked into the building I was given a warm welcome. So the other day, I thought to myself, "I miss taco bell." Since I love hard shell tacos. Yes, white girl through and through. I've been meaning to try this place since it opened. Since today is Good Friday and it's the last day to not eat meat, I went here with my mom. As soon as I had my first bite, I thought.....FORGET TACO BELL. My mom and I split the potato tacos and potato taquitos and 1 churro donut. The way my eyes rolled to the back of my head....I cannot wait to come back and try the meat options. I'm 100% coming back here. The staff was really nice and navigated my mom and I through the menu. We even took some home for grandma and even though it was maybe an hour old (with all the toppings) it still had some crunch to it and she really liked it!!! Go here. Go here. Go here. This review is about a month over due. My only regret of this place is not getting any pictures. We were buying a car across the street and needed a place to grab lunch and man this place didn't disappoint in the experience nor the food. We had the Tacos, the Taquitos and the Flautas... this place didn't miss on anything. I won't like the Taquitos are better than the Flautas, due to crispness, but both were amazing. The sauces were to die for. Honestly the food was amazing. The vibe in there was relaxed and as mentioned by others, the service on a whole different level. It's a family run business and the family was out in full force. Before I know it I'm in conversation with the little brother, meeting and talking to the sister, saying what's up to the brother in law. By the time I left I felt like I should add them to my Christmas Card list. I just wished I lived closer or I'd be a regular at this place. Big shout out to this family, you guys are killing it. read more
