I used to really love this place. Went yesterday and the girl at counter was less than pleasant. I placed my order and when I handed her a $20 bill, she sarcastically said, "We don't take cash" I casually said, "Oh, you used to." She shrugged her shoulders and smirked. I didn't realize it until I got home, but my order was incorrect and the tacos were so soggy/greasy, the shells had no crunch. Really disappointing. I won't be returning. read more

Great ambiance. Just get the taquitos and carne asada fries. It's a bit warm inside. Great employees.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while and decided to do it today. I was greeted by the manager who was incredibly friendly. He helped me make my food choice and answered all my questions. The food does not disappoint. The presentation is great oh and I can't leave out how clean the restaurant is. This was my first time here but won't be my last! read more

Roll Em Up Taquitos - Three flour taquitos loaded. YUM! - Mexican Near Me - Pasadena, California

First time here and i was impressed. We got a warm welcome by the employees and they let us take our time deciding what to order. My father got the 2 taco plate which came with rice and beans, i got the 3 taquitos plate which also came with rice and beans but couldve substituted the sides for an additional charge. Theyre able to do beef, chicken or cheese on corn or flour tortilla which was a lil softer than if it was on corn. You can also mix and match the taquitos if you wanted. I got the beef taquitos on flour since they sold out of the beef taquitos corn flour and it was really good. There was so much good flavor and wasnt dry. The rice is my favorite because it was nice and moist. The beans was good too but i really like their spanish rice it comes with so i would definitely get this plate again. I was told that if i download their app that i would get a free churro donut... It took forever for the app to load the free reward so the worker gave it to me anyway. Theres tables outside and inside as well as a long bar table with stools. Theres a bunch of cool art on the wall too. Id come back again read more

From the minute we walked through the door, the staff immediately made us feel welcomed and involved with our experience. They not only delivered on all fronts but from what I can see, the taquito is no longer just for traditional dine in establishments, the made to order/ fresh model roll em up has, felt like the highest quality. From initial thoughts to final bite, Roll Em Up Taquitos have won our hearts and our appetite. read more

Roll Em Up Taquitos - Family - Mexican Near Me - Pasadena, California

Saw a Roll-Em Up Taquitos that popped up close to me and I've had them from another location in the IE, super happy as they are absoleutley BOMB! Can't wait to try the tacos, staff was super friendly and location was still in there soft opening phase. read more

Came here twice in a row during soft opening. The portion is generous (I am stuffed after the 4 pack 3 would be enough for me but 4 for husband). It's made to order and you can tell the crispiness and the freshness. The sauce is also bomb love the house sauce both mild and lit must get extras on the side! My go-to is chicken with corn tortillas. I got the protein bowl once but you don't get as much also it's kind of meh (the cheese was all congealed and no sauce comes with it also very little veggies and protein). Staffs are super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back! read more

We tried the new Roll Em Up Taquitos in Pasadena this past weekend. The place looked super cute from the outside and we love Mexican food, so we were eager to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Once inside, I didn't expect much by the menu and I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the ground beef crunchy taco meal and two taquitos with a side of homestyle guacamole. The taco was super crunchy, fresh and flavorful. The taquitos were also amazing. Cooked to perfection. My husband actually went back the very next day for lunch on his own. He had our puppy with him and the sweet cashier asked if he could give her a chip. LOL I'm sure she would have loved one, but he passed on the offer. The gesture was the kindest thing. I love that they took interest in our sweet girl. It says a lot about their hospitality. read more

All Delish. We enjoyed the ground beef AND potato taco combo, taquito combo, and tostada, plus an horchata slushee. VERY friendly and courteous staff and service, VERY clean and neat indoor and outdoor dining areas, and very easy access and parking. What's not to like and appreciate about all of this?! Definitely worth visiting and trying. Will be a return diner. ¡Échale ganas! read more

Food was bland. The photos were misleading. These reviews are misleading. I ate two or three bites and threw the rest away- I hate to waste food.. This was not worth the $25. That's including tip. There wasn't really an ambience. The service was nice, but food and presentation were lacking. read more

Really enjoyed trying this place out! For starters, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked in, which set the tone for our visit. Despite them being most known for the taquitos, they also offer nachos, salad, tacos, burger, bowl, elote and corn in a cup. What's great is they offer 2, 3, or 4 pack taquito meals and even better that they allow consumers to select from flour or corn tortilla for preference, or mix and match if you're into both. For protein you can choose chicken or beef and for vegetarians, potato! We ordered taquitos and corn in a cup. The GM was onsite that day and allowed us to op for extra rice instead of beans as our side- great because I'm not the biggest fan of beans. The rice was flavorful and fluffy. The taquitos were delicious too- you can also select your spice level, and for mild you can definitely feel the kick! So, despite the taquitos being delectable, I will say they were very soggy, I had to use a knife (they don't carry these on a regular btw) and fork to eat them. Personally, I was expecting to be able to feel the crunch and I didn't get that at all. Could be because we got flour tortilla? But I've had flour taquitos plenty of times and still got the crunch. I am sure texture changed due to taquitos being drenched in sauce? The corn in a cup was a big miss for me ass well because we could barely taste the mayo and tasted mostly melted butter. When the GM asked how we liked it, I shared my thoughts and he remade it, but still, very limited mayo. I did, however really appreciate him remaking it. The customer service was top notch. The GM was friendly from start to finish. I observed him interacting with customers and ensuring their satisfaction. He even offered my cousin a sample of their fresh organic drinks. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I'm not completely sold on the taquitos. Though very tasty (especially that green sauce), I just couldn't get past the sogginess. I live in Sacramento, but if I was in the area again, I would most definitely give them another try with corn tortillas instead. Thank you to the staff at Roll Em Up! We appreciate the service because it's very hard to come by nowadays! read more

Nothing bothers me more than paying $53 dollars for lunch and they forget to put one of the orders in the bag. So when I got home from Pasadena after driving through the BS 210 shutdown for 45 min and my order is missing I am pissed. I called and left a message with no response from anyone. I guess they are too busy telling other customers if they want to make their food with love to respond. They ripped me off for $18 and I left them a $5 tip. I hate wasting money and being ripped off. Poor customer service read more

Food is delish, service is superb. Pricing is fairish. Quality of food is 8/10 but I liked the menu and choice selection. They have fun games to play for free. Also extra sauce is 80 cents. read more

This food is quite possibly the WORST "Mexican" food I've ever had. Why do the beans taste like lemon? You can't taste the difference between any of the meats... Taco Bell is better read more

Great food and always the best service. Very attentive and welcoming. The dining area is always clean.

The service was excellent and the taquitos were amazing. I got one of each beef, potato and chicken. All cooked perfectly and topped just right. The staff was kind and courteous. They offered extra salsas too. Forgot to take a pic. I just dove in and ate it and ENJOYED it! read more

The food was really plain and lack a lot to flavor... the frozen taquitos from the market are better then theirs

It's beautiful to be here. Food is delicious, and the environment is full of kindness and courtesy. They have amazing books and table games to play while your food is ready, amazing place! read more

Ordered two taquitos: one beef flour and the other chicken corn. Both were amazing and the sauce was fantastic. The tortillas were fried nicely and not overdone. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Really good, fresh food. Prices and portion sizes on the combo are reasonable. A 4-combo can easily feed two people. The manager Rak is very friendly and provides excellent service. Very clean and comfortable interior. A welcome addition to this area of Pasadena! read more

Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food. Definitely going back, this time with a few friends

Even though they are considered 'fast food' the food is fresh quality, great tasting and filling. Simple but good for the price. Staff is always great; friendly, helpful and quick to please either in menu choices or service while you are there. Have enjoyed my visits and will return when I get a Taquito craze. Just one suggestion per my last visit; cool vibe on the music but need to turn down just a notch to make it enjoyable if guest are with someone and want to easily talk. read more

The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. We had our pup with us and my daughter tied his leash to the table which then pulled the table with the umbrella attached down. We were able to manage fixing it but a staff member came out and checked on us and wanted to make sure everything was okay. When our food was ready, an other staff member delivered it to our table and noticed our dog. He offered a pup cup to him, which he loved. The food was amazing! We all loved it. We were also checked on before we left and were asked if we needed anything. You don't see customer service like this anymore read more

Came for the first time. Was doing a drop off for Amazon next door and decided to give it a try. Brian was an amazing cashier. He described all the items and menu, talked about the freshness of the food. Food tasted amazing and great selection of sauces. This place has the best vibe! The food is amazing. The tacos are super crunchy. The salsas are perfectly balanced between hot and crazy spicy. The music is great, and the employees are so willing to help. I really wanted to like this but The protein bowl was SALTY. My husband ordered one steak and one chicken and both were salty and the rice was so mushy. How hard can it be to properly season your meat and not overcook your rice (aka adding too much water)? Less salt and cook that rice correctly and then you'll have something good happening. read more

How did I not know about this place? Do you like SD/Tijuana rolled tacos? Finally. These are so damn fresh. I've only been once and I'm ready to find my perfect order by trying the whole menu. The employees are so helpful and nice. There were a few first timers when I was there and the cashier was totally helpful to figure out the right order for you. I'm hoping to make this part of my routine when going to east Pasadena. Finally my rolled taco spot!! No pictures as I ate them all pretty quick. read more

Great food, friendly service...did I say good food? Rewards program needs a little work. But you can't have everything.

The food is so good and satisfying, the service is on another level. They offer samples and are very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. The dj played all of our song requests for us. read more

I went for the first time last night and I'm extremely happy with everything. Customer Service 10/10 Ricky helped me out and he was amazing. He's super proud of the food they make and his mom. The number of times I heard him reference his mom made me so happy. I love to cook so I know exactly how that feels when your kids live your food. He recommended I try the beans and rice next time, but then said here try it now and gave me a little sample which made me want to order more!!! but I didn't had self control lol Now to the food, I ordered the OG chicken taquitos and the Loaded taquitos 10/10! I'm more of an OG person so those were my favorite but my husband liked the Loaded ones. Churro Donut is 10/10. Highly recommend y'all try out if you're in the area. read more

Roll Em Up Taquitos - Potato and chicken taquitos - Mexican Near Me - Pasadena, California

I love taquitos. Having seen this place every time we go to Mountain Mikes next door, we finally came for a bite. Taquitos are really tasty here, you have option of 2, 3 or 4 and comes with rice and beans plus soda. Unlike most rice and beans you get everywhere else, I thought the rice/beans here were very flavorful and not just an afterthought. Taquitos are fantastic, very flavorful and well fried to a good crunch. Their menu also has a taco burger (like a sloppy Joe), tacos, and a protein bowl that I want to come back for. Prices here are really good and fair in this hyper inflated economy. Great deal, very friendly service, and great food. Located in Amazon fresh plaza, across from Mountain Mikes. read more
