My son and I drove to Dover, NH from Cleveland, OH for a few events in and around the area. We were hard pressed to find decent, or even GOOD pizza. We tried 4 different places in 2 days between Holden, MA and Dover. 2 came HIGHLY recommended. We were a little apprehensive to try our 5th pizza, let alone order more than a slice, but we're SO GLAD we took a shot at Roger's! We got a large with pepperoni and mushrooms. WOW! EXCELLENT sauce! GREAT cheese pull! CRISPY crust! FRESH bellas! DELICIOUS pepperoni! Di prim'ordine!!!

Half eaten potato skins- some of the best we've ever had!

The service was great, the food was good, but we felt the prices were a bit high. An extra $4.50 for pulled pork on a 10" pizza. My husband said it was really good, but he wouldn't pay $15+ for a 10" pizza again. The potato skins that we shared were the best that we've ever had! The dining room was small, but comfortable. As someone who doesn't drink soda, I was happy that they had bottled water (Poland Spring) as well as a full bar.

So disappointed!!!! We went to eat at Rogers 10/11/2020 and asked our waitress if we needed to call to save some time on Wednesday 20/24/2020 for my father in laws after the funeral get together.. she told us that she would do it and then proceeded to let us know we all set . We get there after the service and was met by a pissed of waitress that knew nothing about us coming!! So rude and I've been promoting Rogers so much because we have been doing a lot of take out from here and have dined outside numerous times!! At a time as such as this one when we are in mourning and to have such attitude with service was so bad !! NOT our fault but she was just so rude!!!!

Bbq chicken sub with onion rings!

Rogers doesn't mess around. This BBQ chicken sub was loaded to the brim with their chicken tenders and toppings. Onion rings were killer as well. Haven't had a bag thing from this place yet!

    Chicken finger and broccoli... nope.

Back in the 1980s, Corona Pizza was my go-to pizza place restaurant in Gonic. Their House Special was a chicken finger and broccoli calzone. It was my introduction to "calzone," since most people had never had a calzone before the 1980s. Corona Pizza has been gone for decades, but still the only calzone I ever order is a chicken finger and broccoli calzone, no matter where I go. About 20 years ago, when I worked in Dover (from 1999-2002), I once ordered a calzone from Roger's. It was the same calzone that I always order anywhere I go - chicken finger and broccoli. To my horror, when I got my calzone, it did not contain chicken fingers, but grilled chicken, and broccoli. It was disgusting. I never ordered from Roger's again. Fast forward to 2021... When I can, I make an effort to visit places that I have not reviewed before. I have completely given up on contactless food purchasing, as you can see from my reviews detailing the abysmal performances of the few restaurants I have visited in the past year. Still, I order take out food about once per month since I cook at home from scratch for the other 29 days of the month. Tonight, it was time to give Roger's another try. Instead of ordering online or by phone, I went to the restaurant in person. I was pleased to see that the staff wore masks and that social distancing was encouraged. A friendly woman took my order. Remembering my last experience at Roger's, some 20 years ago, I made sure I explained the type chicken that should be in my calzone. Fingers, breaded deep-fried fingers. Not Buffalo tenders or BBQ tenders, just regular chicken fingers, my order taker happily confirmed. Did I want sauce and cheese in my calzone.... you know, like a calzone...? Yes, I did. This is essentially a chicken Parm calzone with broccoli. We seemed to understand each other. I paid and headed to Shaw's to pick up a couple things during my 20 minute wait. When I arrived back at Roger's to pick up my calzone, it was ready. Another female Roger's worker handed me my calzone. The number on the box matched the number on my receipt. I thanked her and drove home ready to enjoy my tasty treat. Imagine my surprise when I opened my calzone and discovered I did not have a chicken finger and broccoli calzone, but pretty much the complete opposite: A sauceless, sausage, spinach, and garlic calzone. *sigh* I ate it anyway, but I was very disappointed. 2 stars because I was hungry and ate the calzone.... I guess... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll wait another twenty years before I try Roger's again.

    Chicken Parm meal and grandson.

I love that you serve the personal pizza. I have a small appetite so it's perfect for me. My grandson loves the chicken parm meal. It is a large serving but reheats nicely. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Rogers has gone down hill the last few years, the food is no where near what it used to be and the service is awful.

Place is over priced for frozen food. Go to lafesta and get yourself some real pizza. Or head over to flatbreads and TREAT YOSELF!

On a President's Day Monday at 1pm, the establishment seemed at just under half occupancy. I thought I needed to wait for seating, but staff said I could pick any table and they'd head over shortly. My friend and I ordered the sausage roll ($12) and scotch egg ($13) appetizers to share, and I ordered the bangers and mash ($19) entree for myself. The sausage roll, cut up into 6 slightly larger than bite-sized pieces, consisted of flaky and buttery pastry with herbal, earthy, and slightly crumbly sausage out of its casing. Imaging homemade breakfast sausage, but less sweet and more sharp. The accompanying brown mustard provided a nice contrast, yet remained relatively mellow. It also came with a bit of field greens so I could pretend to be healthy. The scotch egg arrived as a textbook example of a softboiled egg with a yammy yolk. The outer sausage shell tasted similar to that of the sausage roll. The accompanying chili jam cut down on the savoriness just a touch; it melded tart, spiciness, and sweetness yet also remained mellow, not overpowering the egg. My entree, the bangers and mash, proved exceptional. The peas were some of the brightest, most vibrant, juicy and crisp peas I'd ever had. Each one had just a slight burst at the bite. The caramelized onions adorning the mash had been browned down a long time, like what you'd expect in French onion soup. The mash itself, made from red potatoes, tasted robust and rich without being overly dense or overly reliant on butter (not shaming butter, but these potatoes deserve to shine, not drowned out). The bangers themselves possessed crisp, taunt casings with juicy interiors. I would almost describe it as "fresh" in the same way I would describe high-quality vegetables. Weird, but I don't know how else to express this sentiment. Service was a bit slow, probably from the Monday holiday. Since it was technically a weekday, I was able to order $4.5 bud lite drafts from the happy hour menu (Mon-Fri 1-230pm). Overall, I walked away quite impressed from what was me randomly picking a place to get lunch after being at White Birch Armories at opening to beat the range wait.
