I had been looking for a midsized sedan for a couple of months, mostly online. When I started my search, I looked at all the obvious front runners: Accord, Camry, Sonata, and Altima. To be honest I had never heard of the Mazda6 until I started doing some research. Not having heard of the Mazda6, I didn't put too much stock into it. I started at CarMax first and while they were very low on the sales pressure, I was not able to get the attention and answers to my questions. I felt like they felt I was wasting their time if I wasn't ready to buy right then. I stopped by the Hyundai dealership one day and after a couple of minutes of trying to find a salesperson I finally found someone to ask. I told them I wasn't buying a car today, but had some questions and would like to look at a Sonata. They said they'd find someone for me. Well "someone" showed up, but I doubt seriously it was a salesperson. He knew next to nothing about the car, couldn't even open up a car for me and said they didn't have any brochures. I then test drove an Atima at the Nissan dealership. I went in there saying I wasn't going to buy yet, just wanted a test drive. When I was in the car asking questions about it, I knew more about the car than the salesman. I also got a bit of pressure to buy - like, the deals end Monday. what's holding you back? etc... One day I was driving home and passed Roger Beasley Mazda. I thought, I'll just stop by really quick and see what this Mazda6 looks like. When I stopped in, I was immediately greeted by a salesperson. I told him I wasn't buying, or test driving, just wanted to see one. He said no problem and walked me right out to the car and let me sit in it. He hung around and answered all my questions and never once pressured me to meet managers, finance people, or anyone. He gave me a brochure and said thanks for stopping by. When I went to test drive an Accord, I was greeted by one guy, who then passed me on to another guy. When I said I wasn't buying today and I only wanted to test drive, this guy tried to pass me on to someone else, until the first guy said no he should take me. Needless to say I didn't feel like my business was very important to them as no one seemed to want to help me since I wasn't ready to buy. I went back to the Roger Beasley Mazda dealership. Again, I was greeted at the door by a salesperson named Tony. I said I wasn't there to buy a car today and just wanted to test drive one. Tony said no problem, asked what I wanted to drive and immediately went and drove one up for us to go for a ride. He never once asked when I was planning on buying, how much I wanted to spend. Didn't try to hurry me up by telling me about incentives that were ending soon, or great financing ending or whatever. He definitely knew all the answers to all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the car. When we got back I had more questions about pricing and different trim lines. When I told him what I wanted in a car he gave me some prices. He then said he was going to let me talk to the manager directly since the salespeople didn't really do any of the money negotiation. He brought Trent out to me. All of these guys were the most laid back, casual, non-business types. I don't think I saw a tie in the whole place. Trent was very helpful, no pressure and actually listened to what I wanted in a car. He surprisingly found me a car that met all of my requirements, even the price - and I got so much more car than I had expected to. Even after we had agreed on a price (which took minimal effort because the beginning price was already such a great price) Trent threw in extras that he didn't need to do to sell me the car, since I was already buying it. After it was all said and done, even after the papers were signed, I asked him about a discount that I didn't think I had gotten. No arguments, no fast talk, no denying or anything. He immediately said, OK, and made arrangements to have another set of papers drawn up with the lower price. Through all of this I asked him if I wasn't happy with the car could I bring it back. He said no problem, that they hold the paperwork for 72 hours. I never once felt pressure. I honestly never once felt like I was in a car dealership because everyone was so relaxed. I called the next day with some questions about the contract and got Trent on the phone immediately who gave me all the answers I needed. I went back in the next day to sign the new papers, Tony came over and sat with me just to chat. Trent came by and sat down and chatted. All the papers were signed again with no waiting or hiccups. I would highly recommend buying a car from this dealership. The sales people are not on commission which makes for less pressure. This is the first car I've ever bought where I've actually thought, I may come back here. I hope both Trent and Tony are around when I need my next car. WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM ROGER BEASELY. I had purchased a BRAND NEW VEHICLE at Roger Beasely Mazda in Georgetown, Texas where they notified me the car was coming from the dealership, Roger Beasely location in Killeen, Texas (which permanently closed). Ever since then I had substantial malfunctions on the car. The car had died and would not turn on many times. I took it in to Killeen, Texas dealership they said that it kept dying because "I had an Iphone charger plugged in". So then I called the dealership in Temple and Georgetown dealership location and both representatives were surprised and thought what I said was hilarious. They asked me to go in for a service check-up in Georgetown, Texas location or Temple, Texas. The Georgetown location was booked so I scheduled an appointment at Temple location. I had to wait about a week and in that time my car had died about 20x times every single time I turned off my car. I had to call roadside assistance for those 20x times to the point where they because good friends. When they jumped my car they had explained that my car battery was perfectly fine. They showed me my battery reading is at a high voltage and it is not a battery problem but there is something else wrong with the vehicle. Finally, at the time of my appointment at Temple location they tested the car and explained it is NOT a battery issue and instead it was the start/stop button, where it was not fully shutting off the car. SO they had replaced the start/stop button. The problem still persisted. I took it to the Georgetown location and they had blamed it on the battery again. My car has not been turning on every time I shut it off. Ever since I had to deal with this issue and use jumper cables almost every day. I was stranded and late for work many times. I did not know how to use jumper cables and got shocked. I had stopped driving the car. Also I was overcharged for the car lease payment and I was promised that they were going to pay me back. When I called to let them know I was never refunded, they kept blowing it off and ended it with "We will look into it and let you know". No one got back to me. This is terrible service and they do not care about selling you defective cars and do not care customer service at all. I am seriously worried for my safety and for others. read more

I have purchased four vehicles at this dealership since 2006 and have received good service. So, when I was in need of a previously owned truck, RB Mazda Georgetown was the first place I wanted to shop. I was fortunate to find what I was looking for at a great price. The salespeople I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. However, that is not why I am writing this review. Three months after purchasing my truck, blue smoke begin to pour out of the tail pipe when I started it. Having a little experience with cars, I knew this could be bad, and I was hoping that it was not a disaster. Upon removing the valve covers, I discovered the engine was completely gummed up with sludge. It was obvious that the previous owner had never changed the oil or made an effort to maintain the engine. I met with the used car sales manager (Brandon Testa) and explained the situation. I told him that I understood that I purchased the truck and that previously owned vehicles in TX are purchased as is. I also explained that my understanding was that the dealership performed a detailed inspection on every used vehicle that it presented for sale and this one should have never made it to the sales lot. Brandon told me that he understood where I was coming from and asked if he may have a few minutes to speak to his management. After a short while, Brandon returned and told me that we were in this together. The details would have to be finalized but, the dealership would help me. In summary, the dealership purchased a replacement engine, related parts, and provided the labor to replace the engine. I was only asked to pay $900. I shopped having the engine replaced on my own and $4,500 was the cheapest deal I found. The dealership took care of a loyal customer and Brandon was excellent in how he managed the process. He kept in touch with me, was honest, and worked to ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome. I want to recommend RB Mazda - Georgetown to everyone who is looking for a vehicle. Please stop in and ask for Brandon. Very few businesses in our society stand behind their word and are concerned about doing the right thing. I cannot say enough good about service at Roger Beasley Mazda in Georgetown. Specifically, the Service Manager, Kevin, and the mechanic who did the work on my car, Sean. These guys were friendly, kind, patient, confident, caring, good humans without sacrificing a shred of professionalism along the way. I brought in the 2006 Mazda 3i I'd bought only 3 weeks before from an evil small dealer in San Antonio, and had already poured about $1,500 into repairs at 4 different places! Each place did what they did affordably and well, and thankfully I didn't pay to fix anything that didn't need fixing. Still, no one had been able to identify the 2 major problems that had been there from the beginning - problems that ultimately brought me to the dealership. Yep, I finally bit the bullet and made what I considered my last resort call - to Mazda. This is where life immediately began to improve. First, I spoke to Evan in their call center. He listened carefully, patiently, and with genuine empathy, gave me some great mechanical advice, asked all the right questions, then referred me to their Georgetown location where he made a convenient appointment for me. He even made a call on my behalf to the Service Manager, Kevin, to let him know what I'd been through. Once there, I was greeted warmly and treated the way I imagine they would want one of their family members to be treated - friendly, honestly, and respectfully. Their diagnosis was right on target, their repair was quick and fairly priced. I left there feeling like I was driving away in a brand new car! Their very thorough courtesy checks of so many other things was really the icing on the cake. I would almost liken it to letting your dad and brother fix whatever's wrong with your car. You don't know what it is, but you trust them to know and repair it right. You also know they're gonna fix all those other little things that they notice need fixing. It's their way of letting you know they care about you. And so it was at Mazda! Most people fear the dealership, I know, I was one of them. But there's no reason to fear this particular location. I have been looking for a vehicle for my wife for about 4 months and spent a lot of time at a lot of dealerships. Its no secret that car salesmen can be pushy when trying to make a sale. That being said, trying to find a car suitable for my wife's needs was just as complex as trying to find a salesmen who cared about my needs more so than the sale. I was having lunch with a friend and they recommend I speak to a man named Dj over at Roger Beasley. I was a bit hesitant at first because I was unfamiliar with Mazda but I decided to give it a shot. I drove over to Roger Beasley and asked for Dj. When first meeting him, I had informed him I was unfamiliar with Mazda as a whole and wasn't sure whether or not a Mazda would be my wife's best fit. Before recommending a car, telling me he could get me the best deal, and basically sweet talking me like every other salesmen I had come into contact with, he simply said he wasn't here to make a sale, but here to make a friend. He asked me what my wife wanted the vehicle for, what her needs were, and what her "must haves" were. Never once did he recommend a vehicle until he spent about 15 minutes making of list of what exactly I want. I began to think he wasn't even going to sell me a car but after the questioning was over, he gave me a few options, one of which he personally recommended, the CX5. He elaborated as to why he made this recommendation and then told me there was no rush to buy and that I should bring my wife by to let her drive the car as well. He said that he doesn't need to sell me on the car because once I get behind the wheel of it, it will sell itself. I am 54 years old and have bought more than my fair share of vehicles in my life. Never have I dealt with a salesmen with the charisma, poise, product knowledge, and level of comfort that Dj had. I felt zero pressure to buy and honestly half the conversation we had was about each other's lives so it really felt like I was buying from a friend.
