Food was great! We both had menudo today. It was cooked just right, not too spicey. They give you all the fixings to add. Menudo was clean. Loved it.. Service was excellent. I love this Rodeo Cafe better than the one in Colton. It was worth the drive. We will be back.

My menudo craving has been satisfied! We came to Rodeo Cafe on Sunday morning, specifically because I wanted menudo and the photos here looked good. Five us arrived around 8 am and were seated quickly. Service was good the entire time we were there with frequent checks on our coffee refills. Everyone liked their food: chicken fried steak with gravy and scrambled eggs, country platter with biscuits and gravy and eggs and sausage, a strawberry waffle combo and strawberry French toast combo - although that daughter meant to get a waffle not French toast. It was good though. The waffle was large and fluffy, Belgian style. The rodeo potatoes were especially good. One of my girls didn't care for the coffee but I thought it was fine. My husband's breakfast came with a pancake and I also liked that. I almost knocked off a star for the country music that played the whole time. Country music literally hurts my ears. But it wasn't loud so I didn't. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Our family reserved an area before we came for a visit. We looked for a local spot because we were going to be at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Coffee was meh, kind of watery for my liking (others might enjoy it! so i guess you would have to try it yourself) Food was pretty great. I ordered their Chili Rojo Omelette and my husband ordered the pancakes, both of us enjoyed our plates. It's not often i can finish a big plate and today i did! A friend of our ordered their chilequilles and they looked so good!! The service was quick for as big as our party was (30 of us) they were attentive to the tables and friendly. They were on top of refills for everyone. Loved the country feel of the place! Prices weren't bad for the portions.

First time at Rodeo cafe. The food was spectacular , quality ingredients. I love that they give you a toasted jalapeno pepper, yummy!! The customer service was amazing!! Everyone was so friendly. The place is so cute inside, nice ambiance. I will definitely go again. I found a new breakfast spot. Thank you

The food was the bomb The vibe and service was spectacular! Come here on a game night and watch the games loved everything

At first everything was okay but the salad we got had tomatoes with mold on all of them, they apologized, changed it and didn't charge us for it but it's still bad. Sunny side up eggs were too undercooked even on the egg white but we also should have told them to cook them extra. Everything else was good.

It's a bit of a letdown, but not because of the food--that part is incredible. Everything I've tried has been spot-on. The open-air setup is spacious, making it great for big groups. Service is quick, and the staff have just the right mix of sass and efficiency. The bar is big, lined with TVs, and they serve both breakfast and lunch, which are always solid. It's fun, lively, and everything runs smoothly. Honestly, it checks almost every box. I guess I just expected a rodeo lol. 5 stars!

Came here for breakfast 2 weeks ago. It's kind of a bar/cafe. My son had pancakes, my husband had eggs, potatoes, bacon, I had hash browns and English muffin. We had a little problem with our food, that never got resolved :( Not in a hurry to go back. 6.5/10 read more

Every time Rodeo Cafe opens a new spot, we try and go. It's my absolute favorite breakfast and the staff is always incredible. This one has a beer/wine bar. As always, the food is a delight and it's huge! Make time to go early to avoid the crowds. read more

WOW WEE !! We just had the most delicious breakfast at the new Rodeo Cafe .. The Old Dory's building! The Eggs were perfect ! Hard to find that . Hash Browns ( PERFECT ) Very friendly Staff . The first time I went here it was not busy at all. We had great service and had no issues. The second time wasn't so pleasant. We arrived as soon as the rush hour was over. We were seated and everyone just forgot about us. No one offered any drinks we had to ask someone after quite sometime of waiting. Once we got our drinks it took a long while for them to take our order. It seemed like no one wanted to be our server. Once I complained the host began asking the servers who wanted to take care of our table. We asked multiple times for napkins and utensils. This experience was not what I was expecting compared to our first visit. Food was good. read more

It's not often a breakfast makes your day but this one did. Both the service and ambience of the place is superb. And though eggs, potatoes and tortillas all seem like they would be the same no matter where you go, we all know that there's those people who just make eggs a notch better than the rest. This was definitely true here. One of those meals where I savored every bite. Two thumbs up. read more

First time at this location found out it just opened 3 weeks ago the people are very nice however the food was little questionable... see pictures they did re make my plate and it was 100% better gave a 3 star because I had to Waite for a re make while my husband eats and I watched him. (The hole point of eating out for me is I get to have some one serve me and not have to Waite to eat after serving my family when I cook ) any way the waitress Jessica was very nice and knew her menu thank you for that read more

Was in the area and we decided to try it out based on yelp. I asked the server what she recommended and she mentioned the chilaquiles. Food came out cold. When I took the first couple of bites the food had no flavor. Didn't taste fresh. My son didn't like his meal either and it was just a bean and cheese burrito. Not to mention the coffee tasted old and just room temperature. Nonetheless our server was very nice. Will not be returning. read more

Rodeo Cafe is AMAZING! Definitely my favorite restaurant for a good breakfast spot that has fast and friendly service along with super tasty food! Alex takes great care of us every time we come in. He is awesome! The micheladas are on point! The huevo rancheros with chile verde with a side biscuits and gravy are in my top favorite breakfast meals. Also to mention compared to other breakfast/brunch spots around here, each plate is pretty affordable and the quality is top knotch. The portions are pretty big which is nice. Sometimes I like to have breakfast leftovers for later lol. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Feels very comfortable and chill. I'm excited to try other things on the menu! Excellent food and exceptional customer service! First time here, I ordered the combo mix under the french toast, waffle and pancake section. I picked the waffle option with 2 sausages and 2 over medium eggs. Very delicious! My husband ordered the Denver omelette with homestyle potatoes and biscuits and gravy. Let me tell you...wow, the homestyle potatoes were amazingly seasoned well and crispy. Their food is great and give it a try when you're around town. This is now our new favorite brunch spot. Thank you to the staff for making our first experience a great one. read more

We normally go to the Rodeo Cafe in Norco but decided to give the Riverside location a shot. The food has the same flavor as Norco. However, this location gives more of a sports bar vibe as it's a larger restaurant and they have a full bar with TVs music playing. If I would have known before hand, I would have gone to the quieter Norco location. If you have a large party, Riverside might be a better spot. Overall, I'm happy. read more

We will return to Rodeo Cafe for breakfast. The coffee was very good...some of the best coffee I've had over 25 years of guzzling that black brew. I had sausage and eggs, toast and hash browns. They meal was quickly prepared and delivered hot. Yes, we will be returning. (Suggestions to owner: 1. Pre-heat the plates so that the plates are warm/hot. 2. Minimize the salt...customers can always add salt. It is very difficult for a customer to remove salt. Great restaurant. read more

Thanks to Elvis for taking a group of 21 people on. He was amazing and attentive both in group and individually. If you go there ask to be seated with him. The food tasted great with larger portions than most places of this size. The menu is vast and I can't possibly list them all. I had the Rodeo Burger with Avocado and iced tea. My friends and I come here whenever we attend festivals at NOS Event Center in SB. This is some of the best breakfast I've ever had and i consider myself to be a breakfast enthusiast. Well I had been browsing the yelp to look for places above 4 stars, found this place. The service was great the selection was good. The reason I am giving only 3 stars is that I ordered the corned beef hash. Well when presented I was set back at the appearance of canned corned beef. Most places which I order the dish is actual diced corned beef. read more

I have gotten several of their food options before, and I think that some of them are well-priced for the portion and some can be more on the expensive side. I think the avocado toast was pretty robust and was a good value. The steak and eggs are somewhat hit or miss, and I have had it multiple times. The cut of the meat can be chewy at times, and then also more lean and tender other times. Sometimes it comes with large pieces of chewy fat, which isn't quite to my taste. The sandwich options generally are a good value. I do kind of wish they switched up their menu a bit more often, since this current menu is rather basic and they have had more interesting food options before. Overall, a decent choice for a more premium coffee, tea, and food for the Downtown/UCR area of Riverside. Service is okay, and I have had somewhat mixed experiences with that. The employees generally seem pleasant and they're nice, but I have gotten incorrect orders at least a couple of times. During this particular visit, in which the photos are from, I had to ask two different people to get extra napkins. Our actual server was the first to acknowledge, then possibly forgot and didn't come back.
