These guys rat proofed our house one year ago. They worked very hard - we have a large house that is over 100 years old - lots of weird nooks and crannies, old foundation, old siding, plaster walls, huge attic. It was a big job. They have come back in a very timely manner whenever I've called about new evidence or smells over the last year - probably about 6 times. They've found a few more entry places, and covered those. Unfortunately, our rodent persists. We have a very large pocket door, and without dismantling the wainscoting, it is difficult to figure out how they are getting in, but it seems they are, and they are dying in the walls somehow :-( . I called them after hearing something in my attic and seeing their 5 star reviews on Yelp. Zev came to my house and took a look in my attic, told me that we definitely had rats and all the insulation needed to be removed. I was hesitant at first since it was a very expensive project (removing the insulation) but we decided to go through with it. They came a few days later with their suits on and they created a little tunnel so that all the insulation removed would not contaminate the house. They were very thorough and were there most of the day. They closed up all the holes on the roof and around the house. Then a few days later, I happened to see a little nose sticking out of one of the holes they patched up in our water heater closet. They came out again and opened up the hole so the rat could get out, while leaving a trap out. Then a few days later I saw a rat in my garage. They came out again and laid two traps. The next morning we had caught two in the traps. They came out again and laid more traps and patched up a few holes in the garage they had missed. Apparently the rats got stuck in the wall when the holes were patched up in the attic and they found a hole in the garage. Now we had all the holes patched up but started noticing a smell in the garage of a dead animal. Again - they came out and found the rat in a crawl space above the garage and removed it. I have a single family spanish style stucco dwelling that I rent out. Recently my tenant informed me he had heard noises in the attic and showed me a dead rat in the backyard. It is feasible we had rats because our neighbor who lost her home had a backyard shed that had a serious rat infestation. When the bank hired contractors to make renovations on this her property, they tore this shed down causing rats to run in every direction.
