Nate came into our home and did an excellent and thorough termite inspection. He was very polite and professional and extended expert advice on what to look for. Thank you for everything. We will look forward to using the services in the future. read more

Customer service is top notch! They were super polite and professional. I will definitely be using their services and will be referring them to all my friends and family ! read more

From a customer service perspective they are definitely a 5 star rating. Cassandra on the administrative side of the house is amazing. She was patient, kind, knowledgeable and understanding of the many questions/concerns that I had. Lance our termite inspector provided us so much comfort as he explained and showed us the areas of concern. He also gave us a thorough description of the work that was needed. Lastly Luis, the technician who preformed the work. He was equally knowledgeable and patient with all the questions. read more

Miguel and his team did a great job replacing rotted out fascia boards and rafter tails. They came on time and went above and beyond their assigned work. Also, I had several areas treated for termites at a reasonable price. I would recommend this company for termite work and specialty roof work if you have rotted out wood on your fascia boards and rafter tails. read more

Your company leaves a mess all around the homes you tent, effecting the properties around them. You leave rocks and other debris around the neighbors yard and in the street. We called you today to come back to clean your mess you left behind this morning in Santa Paula. No one came back to clean it. I would not recommend this company. read more

On time and good price! Will definitely keep using on a quarterly basis. Nice guy too!

Cal Termite has been great in helping with actual termites and the horrible ant problem everyone has been having this year. I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Nate is extremely professional, punctual, thorough, and personable. He let us know when he was on his way and was at the time they had said. He made a thorough inspection of our house, both inside and out. We would very much recommend both Nate and Cal Termite and Pest Control. read more

Cassandra was very helpful in getting our first treatment scheduled! I am grateful for her working with our busy schedule.

Loved our first service today for ants. Nate was extremely helpful, prompt, and thorough. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service, competent and friendly staff, problem solvers, good value. Owner Scott is honest and very helpful- has found termite activity others missed, attended house tenting in clay tile roof to insure minimal damage and treated an area at last minute during construction to keep us on schedule. His company continues to inspect and treat my property on a yearly basis. Happy customer read more

Cal Termite and pest control has been nothing but great! We called last minute and spoke with owner, Scott in panic about an ant infestation in our new home. He got someone out that day and within 24 hours they were 90% gone! We have them out quarterly per his recommendation and we've been pretty much ant/spider free for the last 6 months. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Nate for our service and he was great! Very professional and knowledgeable and great to chat with for a few mins before he got started. So many companies out there and I'm glad we are with Cal Termite and Pest control! read more

During my initial inspection, I was told that this company includes an indefinite warranty. That my house would be inspected yearly for termites and spot treated if any were found. That sounded too good to be true, and it was. Such a warranty is offered but for $35 a month. Ultimately the rate I was quoted was competitive with everyone else, just not the amazing deal the inspector made it sound like. So I went ahead rather than spending more time shopping around. I was also told that only AFTER fumigation would a thorough inspection happen looking for damage. I was told later that this inspection should have happened initially, however they sent someone else out to inspect for damage, but he clarified that such inspections are really only for exterior damage, so not really very thorough. We have a carport that we decided not to include because the inspector said there was no evidence of termites there. Since fumigating the carport would have killed all the plants around it, we decided not to. But when the second inspector came to, as he put it, "clean up the other guy's mess" he found some pretty obvious evidence of termites in our carport. He said a lot of other disparaging things about the first inspector, who had clearly told us MANY things that were not true. So it would seem that Cal-Termites is not really concerned with customers getting incorrect information from their inspector/salespeople. I contacted the company explaining all of this, asking that they spot-treat our carport free of charge. But rather than hearing from management or anything, I and then received a call directly from the original inspector disputing what he had told me (as if he could clearly remember this inspection from over 2 months ago) and accusing me of "telling his boss" on him. The call felt entirely inappropriate and I'm still not clear if he was told to call me, or if he just found out about my complaint and called to intimidate me. Looking at a copy of the original inspection, there were no details or diagrams like in the second and no indication of termites in the carport. I pointed this out to the company along with letting them know about my concern over an angry employee contacting me about my complaint. The company offered to spot treat for a discounted price of $200. Insisting that this was a fair remedy for all of the incorrect information and uncomfortable phone call I'd received. A discount for sure, but still more than what it would have cost to fumigate the carport had I known there were termites there. read more

Termite treatment was completed as described and technician Luis was professional and respected the property, keeping his work area organized and clean. Luis was knowledgable and answered my questions with positive attitude, he helped assuage my anxiety about losing my house to termites. I haven't seen any new activity since treatment. The carpenter Jose finished replacing the damaged rafter tail this morning as scheduled. Jose was also great to work with as he addressed the repairs as if he was a pro. He also worked neatly and efficiently. All in all I am happy with the decision of going with Cal Termite. The company has a great staff I and would recommend their services. read more

Good company. Fair pricing, professional technician. I just renewed my preventative maintenance for termites.

Nate did a great job servicing our building. He showed up on time and took care of our concerns.

Not recommended. They spent 2.5 hours at my house to put in a few screens, and look around. They misses several holes which can be seen from the basement looking out due to sunlight coming out. They would not go into the basement. Said they just look around the outside. But obviously, they missed things and would not listen to suggestions. I spent a bunch of money and got some screens and traps. Got cats and that solved my mice problem, and are better looking. read more

Lance from Cal Termite and Pest Control was amazing. We thought we had termites but after a thorough investigation, he helped us discover a leak under the house that we did not know about. Lance went above and beyond to assist us, and though we did not need services from Cal Termite and Pest Control, the level of help from Lance exceeded expectations. Hopefully, we do not need the services in the future, but if we do, we will work with Lance from Cal Termite and Pest Control for sure. read more

We did a termite inspection and fumigation through Cal Termite, but Socal Fumigation owned by Rick Rodriguez is the name of the company that came out to do our fumigation. At no point in the process did anyone warn us about the potential of burglary during termite tenting (probably aside from some small print clause in the contract and instructions about removing valuables). They didn't tell us that all our windows would be left cracked open and that the house is not secured in any way during the fumigation. Rick mentioned to us--after the robbery--that of the 3000 or so homes he fumigates a year, he probably gets about 30 robberies. Even 1% risk is not acceptable if you are the one being robbed... CUSTOMERS SHOULD KNOW THIS. Unfortunately, during the first night of fumigation, the tent was cut open and our house was robbed. I learned later that these robberies are increasingly common. It is negligent (and frankly a little suspicious) that a company would not give owners an opportunity to be fully informed about the possibility of being robbed and take precautions to prevent it. This should be a best practice! Even better customer service would be to offer suggestions, or have security cameras or private security as an added service. The company proceeded to charge us the normal rate for the work as if nothing had happened. No one even reached out afterwards aside from doing the bare minimum to appear cooperative with the police. (I should add that I've used Cal Termite in the past for other pest issues and had no problem. This is why I was a return customer. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend them after this experience.) read more

We've been using Cal Termite for about half a year now for an ongoing ant issue. They are easy to communicate with by text (personally, this is incredibly convenient) and the ant issue is well controlled now. Nate in particular has been amazing to work with. He is alway patient and knowledgeable to answer any questions, and makes note of changes to the areas of the house that need service. The annual contract they offer is definitely worth it! read more

A big thank you to Scott at Cal Termite for going beyond the call of duty when I found a hornet's nest on a Friday afternoon! Highly recommend - excellent communication, got rid of our problem fast, beat the competition in pricing, 30 day guarantee. Plus, I didn't have to avoid using my front door because of aggressive hornets or delay our planned roof maintenance work while waiting for the big-name companies to show up 3-5 days later. I think this is a good reminder to support local businesses, the professionals at Cal Termite are truly serving their own community. We will be calling Cal Termite for any future pest control needs. read more

I had a very poor experience with this company. They hired subcontractors to tent my house who damaged my roof tiles; unfortunately, no one took responsibility, leaving me with a $1,000 repair bill. While the subcontractors should have been more careful or declined the job, the primary company failed to oversee them. To make matters worse, a year later, I discovered an unauthorized charge on my credit card for a service never discussed. It is deeply concerning that they retained my payment info and are charging it without consent. Proceed with extreme caution when you sign anything ane especially if you have a tile roof. read more

I've been using them for a couple of years now and would highly recommend them. I recently had Nate come out for my annual inspection and he was very honest, professional, and friendly. He was able to work around my schedule and come during the week to do the exterior and came back on a day I was able to have him inspect the interior. Being on their annual inspection schedule gives me the peace of mind that I need in my situation. I live in a townhouse so tenting is not possible, and the threat of termites is always going to be an issue. 10/10 read more

Extremely professional and prompt service. Booking an inspection appointment was simple and hassle-free. Nate was informative, clearly explained the areas requiring treatment, and addressed all our concerns. I highly recommend them for anyone needing a termite inspection or fumigation. read more

We are pleased to give CalTermite a very positive review for excellent service. They did an inspection of our home one year ago, found several localized infestations and performed localized treatments. Based on our positive experience, we purchased the Extended Care service plan. This entitles us to an annual inspection and treatment of any localized infestations we happen to notice during the year at no extra charge. It can be renewed annually. Using this plan, our home was recently re-inspected and treated, due to termite evidence we noticed. The individual who visited our home, Nate Jacobson, was personable, thorough and efficient in getting the work done. We definitely believe this service is worth the price and we are very favorably impressed by the company's expertise. read more

From start to finish, we have had only the most professional service from Cal Termite. Alan, who originally consulted with my wife and myself, was a walking encyclopedia on these critters - in a boredom-free way! Our fumigation experience was very positive as well, in October 2022. On 4/25/25, Nate came out for our annual checkup, replaced traps where needed, did a wonderfully thorough job of inspection, and gave me a little more knowledge along the way as well. All in all, the friendliest and most professional service possible. Highly recommended. read more

Definitely the best value for your money if that's your only concern. Secretary very nice and knowledgeable. My problem lays with their technician Edgar. Company does not apparently provide their technicians with the boot covers that are disposable and cheap to provide or he just did not use them on laziness. Either way the dirtiest boots were tracked in all over my house and my kitchen mat is destroyed, plastic trash bags were thrown on my kitchen island left there, my bedroom had a earring box knocked over and left That way, a jewelry box was knocked on the floor left there. He Cut flowers off my plumeria tree that finally bloomed, left rope tied around my tree didn't take it off after tent was removed he Left it there tied on my tree, my garden bed was trampled all over. I now have to pull them out and replant , the bedroom curtain was pulled aside and not pulled back. A Lampshade was bumped and left crooked. nothing was cleaned up. A professional company should provide their technicians with throw away cover booties if they're going to enter a home no matter what company it is. I've never seen that where companies don't. If a worker comes into a residence, it is common courtesy if you knock something over or damage it, put it back the way you left the house not trash place and leave it that way and say Tuff your problem. Whether it was Edgar being a bad employee or lazy or he wasn't trained properly or provided with the right way to do a job I don't know, but you should not have technicians that make a person's home, dirty and knock things over and not put it back the way they found it. read more

Good service start to finish, on time, great set up and clean up, and effectively got rid of both the drywood termites & carpenter ants eating our house. And they stated they will match or beat offers from other established companies -- of course I can't guarantee this, but they did underbid the other quote I got. read more
