The timing was impeccable given that it was Halloween week... Over the past seven days, my family and I joked that we simply had a ghost in our home. Day one: We happened upon our freshly gifted flowers in a vase shredded to pieces on our kitchen table. It is rare to work with a contractor who is not only professional and thorough but who treats you like family. That was the kind of experience we had with Jetty Termite and Pest Control. From the outset, they were the most responsive of all the companies we contacted on Yelp. They scheduled a visit and inspection almost immediately. And not only did Jesse do the most thorough inspection, but he also provided me with a series of tips and measures I could take to minimize pest invasions in the future. He briefed me about the whole process and provided the most reasonable quote. We had some exterior termite damage before, and Jesse got his team to bring in a contractor to replace the affected area. Not only did he do it quickly and reasonably, but it also looked fantastic! We fumigated in the middle of the winter, so high winds forced a couple of postponements. Ana in the office ran point with all of the different contractors and made sure things got rescheduled. She dropped by with fumigation bags for our food when it was convenient for us, kindly taking time out of her weekend to do so. I had earlier gotten an "limited" quote from another company which included walking the whole exterior, but excluded the attic. Jetty quote did not include the backyard. The reason i was getting quotes was to price shop and as I told them, if I paid the $100 up front payment, it would defeat the reason that I was price shopping. They told me that much of their business was from people buying or selling a house. I guess they rely on the need for speed. Although I clearly indicated to the lady that I set the appointment up with, that I was not buying or selling, she neglected telling me how "limited" the quote would be. Terrible service, complete lack of communication. We signed up for a basic pest control service which includes a quarterly service billed monthly. Their online portal for payment is antiquated and almost impossible to process. They have made me sign 3 different contracts for automatic payments and they have all been unsuccessful. Our house is now again littered with spiders and bugs because I found out through an email that they need me to sign god knows what. And my other complaint is that the person that comes out to spray is very conservative as to what he can and can't spray. read more

Thought I had termites in my shed after finding several piles of dirt like droppings. Owner of Jetty inspected the droppings (which I had swept up weeks early) and so what was available for his inspection was limited. He inspected my building, played around with the droppings, and after doing his tests and inspection concluded I had no termites and that they were in fact cricket droppings. He supported it with having not found any of the other tell tale signs of termites like "kick out" holes. He was 100% certain. This is why you call experts, hopefully they are honest. He was affable and I could tell he would appreciate referrals more than doing unnecessary work.
