Amazing experience! Delicious drinks and food!…read more I reserved a table for my boyfriend's birthday dinner but it wasn't necessary as when we walked in we were greeted and seated immediately wherever we liked as it wasn't too busy. The service was extremely friendly and kind. My boyfriend is Peruvian so it was nice he was able to converse in Spanish with the waiter. My man was also extremely impressed with Seco de Cordero being on the menu as you don't see that at many Peruvian restaurants in the United States. We started with our go to anticuchos de corazón. Here the meat was flavorful and sauce was good however not the best we have had and the meat was a bit chewier than we like. We also ordered the Chicha Morada Pisco Sour. We love a good pisco sour. This was unique with the Chicha Morada and definitely impressive and tasty. Perfectly balanced. Would highly recommend this cocktail. I ordered the Tallarines verdes con milanesa de pollo which is a go to Peruvian dish for me. This one was cheesy, large portions, and the chicken was my favorite part. Perfectly breaded chicken and tasty. Pesto sauce was yummy. My man went with the Seco for his birthday meal. He was pleased and cleared his plate! I tried and it was definitely such a great dish. The lamb was fall off the bone so delicious with amazing flavor. Overall we loved eating here and the staff were so nice. Such an intimate and cozy restaurant with phenomenal food and cocktails! I would definitely return and recommend.

We decided on the ceviche and arroz con mariscos. I appreciate the ceviche preparation... more squid than I wanted but I understand that's the lower priced seafood. They make a lot of well known Peruvian dishes, we had the Lomo Saltado, beef with sautéed veggies and white rice, the juice from the meat provides a very tasty gravy, they also service the dish with french fries, the portion was amble. The second dish was Pescado Saltado, a white fish version of the same meal with a great tasting fish, we also had two other dishes with grilled chicken in an amazing rub, with veggies, a salad and some dipping sauces. Overall we were very impressed with the taste of each dish, we were also impressed how quickly our meals were served given how busy they were. Each dish was pretty big, even to share and take home. Flavor was exactly like Peruvian food should taste (my mom is Peruvian and I have been in Peru a few times). Definitely one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Portland/Beaverton area.

We enjoyed the food on Puerto Rico on our cruise so this was a treat. The restaurant was vibrant with island decor and family photos on the walls. My wife ordered a Mojito and I had a Rum and Coke. The mojito was underwhelming and was missing flavor. On to the food..... I ordered the Mofongo with pork and my wife had the garlic chicken. My meal was moist and tasty along with being filling. The garlic chicken was pounded thin and overcooked, very dry and hard to eat. The accompanying beans, rice and salad were very good. Onto the food, everything is delicious. I swear on my life the portions used to be a lot larger. I remember it got to the point where you felt sick if you ate your whole plate. I used to be able to eat a lot a lot and I'd always have leftovers from here, but I noticed that even though I can only eat 1/3 of what I used to, I could probably still finish my plate. I know it's likely inflation, but man, Portland has changed a lot.
