    Burrito

Used to be a great burrito spot for so long, I think with them expanding they have let the quality go, mostly hash browns, little bit of egg, I asked for no meat so they offered guacamole but that guacamole is like the little cup you get from the store, no flavor, seemed under cooked, I hope they can get back to the way they used to be but for $10 I'm not sure I'd go back.

Well, I used to eat here a lot when I lived in PDX, and when visiting last week I ordered a breakfast burrito since they used to be so good. Unfortunately, the one I got was mostly rice with barely any egg or sausage. Not what I was looking to eat for breakfast.

My husband and ordered Carne en su Jugo (a soupy stew with meat and beans in a delicious broth) and sopes with carne asada - as a Latina from Mexico the food was spot on, except for the corn tortillas - hand made is better. The service was friendly and wait time was a bit slow for not being busy - maybe they had lots of to go orders. We didn't mind the wait because they have an indoor seating area with heaters and EXCELLENT Mexican music playing. I definitely will be back to try more menu items; and, I want to try their other location on SW Hall, which is a brick and mortar.

The quesatacos with consume on the side are my new favorite food!

Totally lives up to the hype! We got a bunch of different items from there and everything was at least a 4.5 out of 5 stars! We also asked for quite a few modifications (no onions on this, no cheese on that, etc.) and everything was exactly as requested. I'm pretty sure every other reviewer has mentioned them, but you've got to try the quesatacos! Sooo good! They seemed pricey, but those are some big, rich, and filling tacos, worth every penny. Get (at least) two and get the consume to enjoy them at their juiciest perfection. Our group also tried the carne asada taco plate, the quesadilla (with carne asada), and shredded pork tacos. Maybe more? But as I mentioned, everything was delicious and everyone was happy and stuffed. Plus the staff was super cool/nice and everything is clean and organized. It was raining really hard when we were there, so we waited in the car while everything was prepared, and they gave us a buzzer so we'd know when our food was ready. We drove back to Portland and everything was still hot and fresh! We went last Friday and already have plans to go back this weekend. I obviously highly recommend this spot.

Fantastic burrito that had a perfect symphony of ingredients. The guacamole was heavenly and the chicken was cooked just right, and all inside a tortilla with just the right texture. I had a very nice gelatin dessert as well, and I'm sure I'll try another one of their many traditional desserts. I liked that it had a no-frills but well kept look, and the addition of the lights added to the "family establishment" feeling. And of course, being family owned and operated is always a major plus in my book. The service always feels much more personal and genuine that way.

    Quesa Tacos and consommé

This review is purely for the Quesa Tacos and consome. I'm sure the rest of their menu is amazing but I admittedly haven't branched out much because these tacos are bomb! Buy two get a free consome. Can't wait to consome some more!

Got tacos and a burrito. Burrito was good and the reason I gave 3 stars instead of two. Tacos were nothing special, 3 pastor and one chicken - hard to tell apart and honestly tasted the same. The tortillas were good but tacos were lacking. The options to select on the tacos for delivery were "no onion, no cilantro" so I assumed they would come with it automatically but no.

Solid breakfast burrito at a pre-2010 price.

Oooh, experienced a little gem that I've probably passed by for many years. The under $6 breakfast burrito is thing of the past in inner-Portland, but it still exists here. Ample size and very good taste; the potatoes are hashed rather than cubed. The greasy, gooey quesataco may not be pretty, but it was gut bomb good. They offer a decent selection of salsas including an Orange one that had a sweat on the forehead kick.

We've been here a few times now and I definitely agree! They operate in the evenings starting at around 7pm and go until late night. I highly recommend their Asada tacos and Tripa tacos. They chop and fry the tripe until crispy and add seasoning to give it that extra oomph. Each order of tacos comes with the fixings, like lime, radish, onions, cilantro, and salsas. There's a long table at the stand with a few seats so I recommend eating these right away, fresh off the grill. For $3-4 tacos, you can't beat this quality and freshness!

I ordered a massive burrito with everything in it--it was packed, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I also tried three tacos: pollo, asada, and tripa. All of them were excellent, but the tripa especially stood out--crispy, rich, and authentic. The salsas were legit spicy and bursting with flavor, not just heat. They complemented the food perfectly. The music is bumping as well. Friendly service, great prices, and a true hidden gem in Aloha. I'll definitely be coming back.

And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Love me some Happy Valley Station!…read more This is like the upscale farmers market of food carts- park your car, enjoy the landscaping, and check it all out. Dog friendly, Kid friendly, 100-year old friendly. Lots of clean and tidy indoor and outdoor cafeteria-style seating to choose from. Carts are covered from the rain, but outside. Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.
