We've been on a mission to find the best taco truck in Vancouver. Mission accomplished, Buen Apetito is IT! We've tried three different street tacos: asada, pollo and Birria (birria being my personal least favorite of the three). Also tried three different burritos, and the roasted jalapeño. Everything is so delicious, the meat is flavored perfectly. My only complaint is that the guac doesn't seem homemade...it tastes processed. But that won't keep me away. read more

Looking through the automatic text notifications sent out when the meal is ready, we've eaten here over 20 times since July. We love this place. Taco truck in gas station parking lot. We usually come here a couple times per week for breakfast tacos/burrito and then street tacos for dinner. Great value, fast service. Some of our favorite things are egg/potato/cheese breakfast tacos, the breakfast burrito with beans/eggs/veggies, and every single street taco, but mostly been eating birria, chicken, and fish tacos lately. All very good! Very nice ladies that work the window, wish I remembered their name. Great food, great service, great value. We'll continue to be regulars. However this establishment did not disappoint! This family owned / operated location utilizes fresh ingredients and as a result the flavor is phenomenal. I purchased an order of carne asada fries as well as a birria taco with consome dipping sauce. The portions were large and I was completely satisfied. This time I got the classic burrito supreme with sour cream and guacamole with chicken. I also got 2 chicken tacos and the total cost was like $20.10. The burrito was gigantic. It was nice and hot too. It would have been better if it had some cheese in it. Also, I am not too sure why people put so much rice in their burritos. Way too much rice. I would rather more protein in my burritos but they all wanna add way too much rice. Excuse me, I will take my rice on the side please. The tacos are good but I don't think they are worth $2.75 each. 3 bites of the tacos and I was done. Also, they could spice up the protein the a little bit more it would be nice as it's kind of bland meat. It's still a good place and I am glad it's there. I'm from the Bay Area and have been to Vancouver several times and this is by far my favorite taco place I have tried so far. I got 2 carne asada and 2 lengua tacos with the spicy salsa, with the spotlight going to their lengua. It was tender, yet had a perfect thin crispy outside from the reheating on the grill. The torillas were the perfect texture, and the meat was not too greasy so they held up well. The salsa wasn't too spicy IMO, but I wish they gave me a little more for my togo order. After I left that meal, I was craving them the whole weekend I was in town. Will definitely be coming back when I'm back! read more

Folks were welcoming, and ordering was quick and efficient with their mobile-friendly system which is perfect for those who prefer to stay in their car and receive a text when their order is ready. Ambience was ok, but very loud being next to such a busy freeway. Heaters/covered area would be nice when cold or rainy. I ordered a birria taco which was good, asada was a bit too salty, but the adobo was delicious and not too greasy as they tend to be. Per the pictures, the onion and cilantro mix is very rich with the purple onion and could use more cilantro. Overall, the food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced with a great selection of sauces, favorite being the red sauce. read more

There are two tables with shade and they also had a little bowl for dogs for water. The pork wasn't fatty at all like carnita tacos usually are, best ones I've had in Vancouver. When they were new, they were kind enough to make it a little later in the day, but now that they are busy, they are no longer willing.
