Delicious | Great Service | Great presentation $$ Wow, I'm so glad we stopped by here after our friend recommended this place. We came here on a weekday about an hour after they opened. The interior is clean, and that mural in the back caught my eye! It's a beautiful painting of Machu Pichu. Service was quick and very helpful. The lady gave us suggestions, the most popular dishes: Ceviche, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina. There were three different types of ceviche dishes, so we went with the shrimp (camaron). The lomo saltado is a robe eye steak dishes with fries and rice. The aji de gallina is a creamy chicken dishes with potato and rice. The presentation with the ceviche was so nice! The ceviche de camaron is a MUST! That powerful lemon sauce is so good and cuts through any fish taste, if you are not a fan of a seafood taste. I can see this appetizer frequently eaten during the summer, as it is very light and refreshing. Love the shrimp. It is served with huge corn kernels and corn nuts (?), and sweet potato. The sauce has a little bit of a kick to it if you eat some of the red pepper flakes. Whoa, I'm so glad I paired this dish with the aji de gallina because the creamy sauce helped put out the hot fire. I'm sensitive to any heat, unfortunately, like even pepper. The ceviche was absolutely excellent though. The aji de gallina was a very creamy chicken dish with a scoop of rice; it is a comforting dish. The lomo saltado rib eye dish is delicious too. I can see why many order this. It's tasty with the fries. The meat is good quality not like other places where you have lots of grisel or fat, and it has good flavor (not dry). We loved all three of these dishes and plan to get them again along with something new. Great Peruvian spot! The restroom is very clean. This place is a great find. There is ample parking in the lot. Nearby is a good tienda, La Nortena, if you are looking to pick up good tamales or Mexican bread treats.

Ceviche mixto. 10/10 so fresh and yummy!

Food was amazing! Visiting Portland from California and did a quick search for Peruvian food. This place is a 10/10. Food is fresh, great portions, friendly staff, and everything we ordered was so good!

Lima Peru is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. I love Peruvian food, and Lima is definitely the place to go. My favorite dish is the tallarín verde, but their lomos saltado was also really good. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try new Latin flavors and be immersed in Peruvian culture.

We ordered an appetizer and 2 main to share among 3 adults. The drinks were good. I had the purple corn drink, it was refreshing after a 4 hour hike. Fish ceviche...great presentation and ingredients but the acidity of the dressing was overpowering for 2 of us. Beef dish was delicious. My favorite was the seafood paella. Gorgeous and tasted very good. We devoured the 2 entrees. Service was slow but the food made it worthwhile.

Great ceviche, paella, and pisco sours. Service was great and ambiance was pleasant and clean. Will definitely be back on Sunday for the stews.

I studied abroad in Peru and my partner grew up in LA eating lots of Peruvian. This place stands up to both! Everything we've gotten has been just what we wanted. It's pricey, but there really aren't that many Peruvian restaurants around Portland so I'm more than willing to pay. This time we got the 1/2 Polla A La Brasa and the Tallerín de Pollo.

1/2 Chicken was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Been looking for a good Peruvian restaurant and found it while I was out in Beaverton. Everything was great from the staff, ambiance, and food. The beans were delicious and hearty, the chicken was cooked perfectly and flavorful, and the plantains were delicious. This was perfect for something healthy, yet hearty. I will definitely be returning. Don't miss out on this great location.

Ordered 2 large dishes for 3 women. Lomo saltado $16.50 and Arroz con Mariscos paella $19.25

It's easy to bypass this slightly run-down looking restaurant in a little shopping plaza. But trust, Lima Peruvian should not be missed...there's a reason families flock here for meals. It's delicious, authentic, and very filling! The prices are also reasonable especially since most of the dishes are meant to be shared. We ordered arroz con mariscos paella $19.25 and Lomo Saltado beef strips with veggies and fries $16.50. Those two dishes were enough for three women, and we just barely finished it. Some of the servers may not speak English, but everyone was super warm and friendly.

I'm not Peruvian so I can't rate the authenticity but I'm pretty sure it's authentic as they come without being in Peru. It was such a good experience. Staff is friendly. The decor was nice and rooted in Peru. I had the yuca dorada the seafood mix saltado and lomo saltado and chicha which is the purple corn drink in the picture. I was surprised by the flavor and how refreshing it was. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. The negative for me is that it's a drive from me.. I wish they were closer so I can eat there more often.

Dinner w/our son @travis.masaki & his girlfriend Stephanie at the Lima Peruvian Restaurant in Beaverton, OR. First time eating food from Peru & it was great! The staff were very friendly & patient. They were willing to customize their dishes for us to be less oily & spicy. We had an awesome time with them. Parking - they have a shared parking lot with other businesses there.

Great Peruvian Food!…read more What's not to love about supporting a small, family-owned and operated restaurant? On the recommendation of a friend, seven of us met here for dinner tonight, and every single person raved about their meal. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, made with top sirloin, red onions, rice, potatoes, soy sauce, oyster sauce, red vinegar, and aji amarillo. The meat was unbelievably tender--you would never guess it was top sirloin. The dish was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors and was an absolute home run. This was my first time trying Peruvian food, and I can confidently say it won't be my last. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. The food here is truly exceptional.

If you like your food flavorful, yet here. The flavors are amazing, so complex, so many layers…read more Our waiter was excellent. He is Peruvian and he knows so much about the food and the culture. And, importantly, he was passionate about sharing that. He wanted to explain how Peruvian cuisine differs from other Latin American cuisines. Obviously, the chef shares his passion. The dining room is nice. The menu is extensive. But parking looks like a problem until you drive a down the south side of the building and find the huge back lot. There is no children's menu and I would suggest that it's probably not the best place for kids. Vegetarian options are limited; vegetarianism just isn't a big part of Latin American culture or cuisine... or most other cuisines either. If you insist on vegetarianism, go to a restaurant whose cuisine emphasizes it rather than expecting others to somehow adapt to it. The food here is great and it's a great experience. I recommend it.

We enjoyed the food on Puerto Rico on our cruise so this was a treat. The restaurant was vibrant with island decor and family photos on the walls. My wife ordered a Mojito and I had a Rum and Coke. The mojito was underwhelming and was missing flavor. On to the food..... I ordered the Mofongo with pork and my wife had the garlic chicken. My meal was moist and tasty along with being filling. The garlic chicken was pounded thin and overcooked, very dry and hard to eat. The accompanying beans, rice and salad were very good. I mentioned the quality or lack of to the waiter (I think was the owner) and he questioned me like I was wrong. No apologies given. I didn't ask for a discount and wasn't given one. We ordered the Tenderized Steak Marinated in a Garlicy Vinegar sauce, the Mofongo with roasted pork, and empanadas to share. The standout dish for me was the Mofongo. It was a unique dish that I hadn't tried before. It came in like one of the mortar shaped bowls with like smashed plantains and the slow roasted pork in the middle. It was pretty good. The Marinated Steak was decent and had a good flavor to it, but the Mofongo would be my recommendation.

Our server was patient and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance was perfect for our little gathering and everyone kept asking who picked the restaurant because they loved the food so much. Personally, I think I ended up getting to try half the menu and it was all good, but the corn fritters, plantain empanadas, ceviche, and patatas were all next-level good. I don't know what they put in their sauces, but I wanted to bring home bottles of all of them. Splitting the check up at the end was kind of chaotic, but they were patient with us while we did the math and, if they were at all stressed out by the large number of diners, we couldn't tell.
