You can immediately tell this is a company that takes pride in sourcing and handling their seafood properly. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, answering questions about sizing and preparation, which made the buying experience easy and stress-free. Everything was well-packed and handled with care, giving me full confidence in the product I was receiving. The Rotary Club was picking up my lobster and the company didn't charge me until after the order was picked up. The took my word I was going to pay. Get character from them. If you're looking for high-quality lobster--whether for a special occasion or just a great seafood dinner--ABC Seafood Company is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back for future seafood purchases.

All the things to make Okonomiyaki was on sale (cabbage, Kewpie mayo, Okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, Okonomiyaki flour mix), so I obliged and we made some at our Airbnb. We also bought from produce, snacks, and poke. Everything we had was really fresh. The only thing that I bought that wasn't my thing was Sakura Cookies by Nakaura. They were pretty, but the flavor was odd and they're a bit pasty. Our cashier (Shiow) was super friendly and heard us speak Mandarin. We had a fun conversation with her and she told us to come back for Senior discount days on Tuesday (10% off, 60 and older). They also have Student discount (10% off) on Friday evenings (6PM to close with valid college ID).

I decided to try it. The noodle was very bland but it came with a lot of thick dark sauce. I mixed it well. To my surprise, the sauce was also very bland. I grew up eating the Asian version of Jajangmyeon. The Asian version was full of flavor and quite spicy. Korean version just got the color but lack depth. It was good that I tried it. Now I won't be tempted when I watch these shows :)

But took several minutes to get someone's attention. Then had to go to customer service counter at store's entrance to pay. The noodle dish, a classic Korean casual lunch item, looked good but lacked quantity (noodle) & substance (meats and/or veggies). Just lots of sauce and that lacked flavor. Better eats are available at the food court shops for comparable prices.

I will say that it can be a bit more spendy than ordering direct from a vendor, however, if you need something right away, it's not so bad! And some of the items are truly a good deal. I stopped in here to pick up coffee bar type items. They had everything I was looking for: stainless steel milk froth pitchers, espresso shot cup, syrup pumps, and the LARGEST, most extensive coffee syrup selection I have ever seen. This spot is definitely worth checking out and the staff are super cool too.

IMO, I've never been a huge fan of Pacific Boil, but my son likes it. The lobster tails were a joke. They just looked like large shrimp. Barely any meat, and no taste. The shrimp were straight up gross. They were mostly mushy in texture, and had HUGE poop lines that just squished into the shrimp. Gross. I threw half of them away. My son even admonished they've gone downhill and that's saying a lot seeing he used to love them. For $160, it was beyond disappointing. We will not be back.

After reading some of the reviews, I went in with mixed expectations. While the restaurant is a little tired around the edges, it's nowhere near as bad as some reviews make it out to be. The waitstaff was wonderful--super attentive, polite, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I ordered the fish and chips. As a girl from Alaska, I'm always hesitant to order cod fish and chips. The fish was a little tough in my opinion, but the chips were fantastic and easily the best part of the meal. I also ordered a side of coleslaw, which was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. My two dining partners ordered the shrimp basket and the oyster basket. The shrimp basket looked terrific, and it's definitely what I would order on a future visit. Both of them raved about their meals. I will say the portions are very generous Overall, this feels like a bit of a hidden gem. It may not be fancy, but the service was excellent and there are some solid menu items worth coming back for. I'd definitely return.
