Love the food. Poke is always so fresh and flavorful. Service is usually friendly. Today I had to pay for an extra scoop on poke to get what I usually get from a large bowl, I also had to ask the same thing for my edamame. Bad experience today. Girl taking my order was unfriendly and quiet, no hello or greeting, barely acknowledged me. Be more picky with who you hire, they are the face of your business. read more

A friend had recommended me to try this place after she's gone several times. I'm pretty sure that I've been to their location on the east side before and was happy to see that they open another location on the west side. For a large bowl with two scoops of protein, they give you a pretty good amount of food. Although a lot of their protein comes preseasoned with different flavors and so you got to mix it matched, but sometimes you have to be able to balance what the preseasoned flavors are with everything else. I wasn't expecting that at first, but I was still able to enjoy a nice lunch and be in and out within 5 minutes. read more

Seasweets is a cute little restaurant. It was quiet when we came in during lunch hour, and the staff was friendly and helped us right away. Both my husband and I got the garlic salmon poke and Thai iced teas. The garlic salmon poke was okay. Something was spicy but I'm not sure what since I didn't add anything spicy? I am good with spicy foods so I doubt it was the garlic, so I am going to guess cross contamination from one of the other main bases. The salmon itself and crab salad were a little bland but the seaweed salad was good. The Thai iced tea was not good. It had a weird aftertaste and wasn't sweet. It tasted like it was made out of a premade powder mix. We didn't finish them and threw them away. It satisfies the craving, but it isn't the best poke we've had. If you're in the area it's a nice place, but there's better poke elsewhere. read more

I love stopping by when I'm in the area. Their poke bowls ways hit the spot. Their poke always tastes so fresh compared to other poke spots I've tried, and their portions are always generous! Service is always pleasant and fast. I've never had to wait long at all to order. The inside is a bit small but there is seating available. I always try to switch up what I get each time I go, I can't ever decide on a fav! read more

My friends and I stopped by SeaSweets Poke for a quick lunch before hitting up the Nike Employee Store. This was our first time eating here. SeaSweets has a unique variety of fish options that you won't find at most other poke chains including truffle salmon, garlic salmon, cumin lime shrimp, and coconut lemongrass ahi. A nice perk is that they allow you to sample before you choose! A regular poke bowl (one scoop of fish, but can split to up to two options) costs $16.25 and a large poke bowl (two scoops of fish) costs $20.25, which seems on the steeper side for poke, but portions ended up being quite large. I ordered a regular BUILD YOUR OWN POKE BOWL and chose brown rice as my base and the garlic salmon and spicy albacore as my protein. For sides (which you can also get either one full scoop of one option or two half scoops of two options), I chose the hijiki edamame and the lemon pepper krab salad. You can get as many toppings as you want and so I went all out with the fried chili oil, pickled ginger, masago, nori, and wasabi pepper sauce. Upon my first bite, the wasabi pepper sauce was quite overwhelming as all I could taste was black pepper. The fish (even upon sampling) wasn't super tasty and honestly pretty watery, even with the sauce. The biggest mistake I made though was the fried chili oil. As someone who normally orders 4 or 5 stars at Thai restaurants, this chili oil was BURNING HOT both on my lips and throat! The lemon pepper krab salad was an absolute necessity in cooling my mouth down and I definitely needed more of it. Drinking ice water didn't cool the fire either and I unfortunately had to end up tossing half of it because it was just inedible, something I very rarely do. One of my friends (who tolerates spice well too) had the same issue and also ended up throwing most of his out. TLDR, beware the chili oil!! The interior is clean, modern, and simplistic- nothing fancy by any means. I will note that they had the A/C on very high to the point where I was shivering while eating. Service was good and the servers were friendly. You bus yourself, so there's not much service involved outside of putting your bowl together. Overall: 2/5 for food, 3/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere read more

It was really good! Small fish portion but that's the norm at all the spots I have been too around here. I got the shoyu ahi and it was shmackin! I saw them from the TooGoodToGo deal. I thought I'll give it a try. Well, it's quite a disappointment. The deal included 2 bags of food. One bag of very hard brown rice that is about 3 cups worth. The other one is a bag of mixed fish that looks like food from a garbage disposal. It has a mixed of flavors in it. The worst is I had about 3 table spoons of fish and a little bit b of rice that afternoon and I threw up twice after that. If the food is bad they should not sell them to TooGoodToGo. It only ruins their concept. read more

This is my favorite place for poke, and I really appreciate that all the ingredients are listed out clearly so that I can avoid alcohol containing sauces and marinades. The best part is that the staff are happy to give samples of the proteins and even offer to go half and half on protein scoops when it's hard to choose between all their delicious fish! Most often the seating area is mostly empty, but the line at the counter is almost always moving as this is super easy to take to-go. Bring your vegetarian friends too, as they have great vegetarian options too and don't forget to sign up for their rewards to get free perks like extra toppings etc as they're easy (and delicious) to earn! read more

Finding poke that compares to Hawaii's is quite hard. But, I found a spot in Beaverton: SeaSweets Poke! I got the ahi shoyu poke bowl, and loved it. Tip: Order the house chili oil on the side. Very spicy! read more

When I'm in Beaverton and craving Poke, SeaSweets Poke is my must-visit place. The restaurant is always clean, and the ingredients look fresh every time I visit. I also love the generous portions; there are so many options to customize your bowl just how you like it. My usual order is half brown rice and half greens as the base, with two scoops of sushi, topped with seaweed salad and imitation crab salad. It's simple, filling, and always hits the spot. The friendly staff makes the experience even better. If you're a Poke fan, this spot is worth checking out. read more

Since my last review, dine-in is now available, and prices are higher ($16-17 for a bowl). For those who don't know what poke is, it's basically sushi in a bowl instead of a roll. The food is ready fast, because the restaurant is Subway-style, where every ingredient is already ready; you just need to pick what you want. You get to choose from rice, kale, or both to start with. Then you add your fish. Last you add toppings. I recommend the place for people who like sushi. The employees were nice, and the dine-in area was spacious, clean, and casual. read more

I feel pretty lucky to have a poke place. That's really good pretty close to my house. The fish is always tasty, and the toppings are pretty plentiful. I love all the sauces and for his hockey on top of the bowl. Their chili oil is also really good. It's not that spicy, but it adds a really good flavor and crunch to the bite. Also a little bit of heat. I usually get the truffle salmon, but I got the spicy tuna this time. The Fishy flavor was deaf. Definitely there, but I think I prefer my poke in chunks rather than grounded up like the spicy tuna was. I only grape is I wish to Kwon that he was a little bit more for how much they charge but I understand that's how things are nowadays. I got the regular, which was about $15 and I probably could eat two of those. read more

Disappointing. Parking and location is great, lots of indoor seating and no issue with parking. Service was great, the young gentlemen was helpful. Lots of seating indoor and it's very quiet. Ambiance was great. We bought a half pound of salmon and half pound of tuna, honestly it is NOT FRESH. You'd expect it being near all the rivers that the salmon are at least fresh - it isn't, It's mushy. It was about $24/pound, and in all honestly, it's more than a known Japanese market nearby where its much more fresh. If you are getting your poke with all the side dishes and rice, it's possible it's not noticeable as all the sides will blend and mask the mush of the fish. Generally a rule of thumb is that if the fish comes with a lot of "flavoring" and sauces, it's a tall tale sign that the fish is not fresh. read more

SeaSweets is a sweeeeet spot! Try it, you'll see!! Seriously, it's great value and good quality poke. Lots of good options and quality ingredients make for a tasty lunch. It's a good portion for the regular, but the large size is good too! The one snafu today included the internet being down. We didn't realize our mobile order didn't go through until we went to pick it up - at which point we had to reorder the entire thing. That time suck was a bummer - but lunch was still good! Just an hour later than anticipated. Warning: The spicy Mayo is as advertised!! Delicious, but definitely has a kick! read more

SeaSweets Poke - Garlic Salmon Custom Poke Bowl - Poke Near Me - Beaverton, Oregon

We needed some poke for the summer heat wave. This place is build-your-own, but they start off with pre-marinated proteins. I got the kale salad base with truffle salmon, pepper krab salad, and kimchi corn. The salmon was marinated with thin-sliced Serrano peppers, which gave a nice heat. The corn had some small bits of kimchi cabbage mixed in, but was not very tart or spicy or sweet, for that matter. The kale was nice for texture, but the dressing on it was too salty for my taste. I got the Large ($16), which includes 2 scoops of protein (you can mix), and it was quite filling. You can order on their website, but there isn't an option for choosing 2 different proteins for the large. read more

I used to like this place a lot. Although I like the variety of fish and toppings they have, it's a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. The regular bowl was about $13, and I didn't feel that full afterwards. I do like that they make poke varieties that are pre-seasoned, like true Hawaiian poke style. And they have unique house made sides to go with your poke. It's certainly a one-of-kind poke you can't get anywhere else. read more

Bought this via UberEats for a quarantine take out meal. I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I chose to get the Kale Salad option because I did not want rice. What ended up happening was that the salad overpowered the poke completely, and it was a little over salted. Additionally, the Spicy Mayo that we got was extremely spicy and not really flavorful at all. I paid about $20, including service fee for this and we also barely had any poke at all. In fact, if someone had left out the poke, I would have hardly noticed because there was so little to begin with. Additionally, because we only got one bowl, it was even more disappointing because $20 for one portion is definitely a little of a rip off. Wish I could say something good about this, but perhaps the only thing is that the plating was done all right. However, this did not compensate for the disappointment I felt in this meal. read more

I enjoyed trying out this place for poke. Like the reviews mention, all their fish is already mixed with different sauces, so you just pick which type of fish you want and add sides and toppings. Quality Poke Bowls! Great taste! Staff are always helpful. The store is always clean. It's my go-to for raw fish in the area. Their Miso Sesame sauce goes with everything. Shoyu Ahi, Miso Wasabi Ahi, garlic Salmon, and shrimp are my favorite and It's so hard to choose which to select that I always change it up every time I go. If you like spicy, definitely recommend doubling down on the chili crisp oil and spicy mayo. read more

SeaSweets Poke is serving up the more traditional, pre-marinated poke. Unlike a lot of the places in the area, where you build your own bowl and pick your sauces and toppings, this place mixes different sauces with the proteins so that it's already flavor-packed by the time you eat, eliminating the chance of not getting enough sauce. While I like being able to customize things more, I think this is a good option if you're not super picky. For $12 you can get a small, which comes with one scoop of poke and two sides, or a large for $16 which had an additional scoop of protein. I think prices could come down at dollar or two, but we did like our food. I ended up getting a small with slightly spicy salmon poke and the edamame salad and cabbage slaw for my sides. I also added a runny soft boiled egg. My partner got a large of the tuna with edamame salad and seaweed salad. Come hungry, because they don't skimp on rice here. We left very full. Overall I liked this place but I probably wouldn't be back often since there's not a lot of combinations of protein and sides I would be interested in to keep the variety if I were coming regularly. read more

Not impressed. Fast food poki. Not sure when it was made. Place is a cafeteria style fast food and the sit down area was closed. . It's all very white but even at two years old it's showing some age. Location is good with parking. Service is again cafeteria style and they request a tip on the check machine. The service is not that good. Small signs telling you what the food is and Pricey 16.75 for a two scoops of poki over large amounts of rice and sides. Food. Not impressed. Again don't know how it's made or when. Not impressed with the flavors they picked. Also not impressed with the side nor the extra cost items. A Good sushi restaurant will make your poki fresh on the spot. This place? Yeah - No! read more

My go to poke spot. Hands down the best poke place in the Portland area. Closest to Hawaiian style poke. Grand opening day for their 2nd shop, located in the strip mall at Murray and Milliken. Arriving on a Thursday at 12:30, I thought I'd be waiting in a long lunch line, but while there was definitely a crowd, I got through the line and to my table all inside about 3 minutes, so pretty quick for a launch day. They have two sizes of bowls, running $12 and $16. I opted for the larger option, and after running through a few toothpick tastes, settled on the Salmon and the Octopus poke's, on white rice with sides of their Kimchee Corn and Wakame Seaweed, and topped it off with a bit of Masago (think mild orange caviar) and Furikake (a common Japanese Seaweed flake and sesame seasoning). The food was fantastic. As a home chef I've made poke many times at home, but it's always nice to see someone else's twists. With poke, there pretty much are no rules other than "there's raw fish in there", so I like playing the field to see others' interpretations on this dish, and SeaSweets did not disappoint. The Octopus was flavorful and PERFECTLY steamed. It's super-easy to screw up Octopus and turn it into a rubber tire. This was crisp but not chewy, very tender. Flavor was beautiful. The Salmon as well was nicely executed. Cuts were even, and the peppers gave it just the right kick. The sides were nicely done. The seaweed was... Well, it's seaweed, but it was marinated nicely and Wakame lovers should appreciate this. I liked the Kimchee corn better than I thought I would. I was worried I was going to get a mouthful of yellow-colored Kimchee, but actually the flavor was 95% sweet corn, with just the welcome Kimchee "afterglow". In all, excellent food, glad to have a convenient Poke place on the Westside! I'll be back! read more

This place does exactly what it's supposed to do. I had a large Poké bowl recently. I asked for very little rice and lots of kale salad for the base then topped with Aji tuna and a bunch of toppings. Everything was delicious and when I got to the bottom of the bowl the combination of nicely spiced kale and rice was very satisfying - a few light, finishing bites. Had been wanting to get by here since I saw it was opening. So glad i had the opportunity- really good! In case you don't know, Poke is a Hawaiian dish that is raw fish with a sauce, usually with rice or salad. Think of sushi that's not been rolled. The reason I explain is i heard people who work nearby who didn't like it. Now granted, it took me a while to warm up to poke, but done right its fantastic. SeaSweets does it right! I had large poke with spicy Ahi and Salmon, brown rice and kale salad. Here you get a choice of 2 sides, i chose crab salad and kimchi corn. Then they have some premium additions, the guacamole was worth adding. I also added spicy mayo, wasabi sauce and chili oil. Just amazing - perfection in a bowl. If you are nervous about it, they will let you taste the Poke's that they have. It's a good way to dip your toe in the pool. read more

My absolute FAVORITE poke spot in Beaverton Not only is fish fresh and delicious but the staff is always so kind, attentive, and helpful. The space is always super clean and calming. Overall, I 100% recommend this place for anyone wanting to try poke for the first time! read more

The menu at SeaSweets Poke is advertised as a "build-your-own" bowl creation, featuring 8 different types of proteins and a wide variety of free and premium toppings and sauces to dress up your bowl the way that you like it best. When it came time to design my bowl, I decided to start with the spicy salmon protein and a white rice base. This combination was then followed by a long list of toppings: hijiki edamame, house pickled bean sprouts, shichimi guacamole, masago, pickled ginger, nori, furikake, and fried onion (isn't that a mouthful!). To top it all off, I decided to add a mixture of four different sauces to the top of the bowl: spicy mayo, wasabi pepper sauce, wasabi mayo, and miso sesame sauce. I decided to omit the house fried chili oil, as the salmon protein is already mixed with serrano peppers, which adds a nice kick to the bowl. With my grandiose order completed, I proceeded to anxiously stare at my phone as I awaited the arrival of my postmates delivery driver. Upon arrival, I eagerly opened my front door to find a neatly sealed bag with my creation inside. After bringing the bag inside, I cracked open the provided chopsticks and took my first bite. Two words immediately came to mind: absolutely phenomenal. The fish had tons of flavor, no fishy smell or taste. The toppings were fresh and proportionate with regards to the size of the bowl. The sauces all complemented one another and didn't overpower the poke itself. It quickly dawned on me that I had discovered a hidden gem, a diamond in the rough, as it can be quite difficult to discover a new restaurant that you truly enjoy. After ordering from the restaurant multiple times, I can confidently say that SeaSweets Poke is one of those restaurants that customers will truly enjoy when they are craving some down-to-earth local poke. read more

Services was bad, the lady that helping me was unfriendly. I went there around 4pm there's no customers inside the restaurant however I feel pressured from her maybe because I need a minute to decide what to order, she look very irritated that I took too long.
