Food was exquisite. My pisco sour was perfect. Good service and delightful atmosphere. read more

We started with an order of the Yuca Relleno and it was so tasty. I ordered the Aji de Gallina and hubby ordered the Chicharron de Puerco and it had the perfect deep fried crunch on the outside and was so tender and juicy on the inside. The portions are perfect size to not leave hungry. The parking lot is in the back so entering off Hwy 99 can be a bit tricky. Delicious food with friendly service. We will definitely be back again to try a different entree and maybe the ceviche too! read more

Amazing food. Very overly priced cocktails. Great food at Mi Pisco. I recommend it all. The disconnect lies in two things: (1) the atmosphere evokes shopping center vibes. Or fast casual Latin restaurant. But the food is much better than the associated atmosphere. (2) the cocktails are priced as if we were at a beach resort. $18 for an old fashioned is more expensive than the cocktails at Portland's high end restaurants. Again the feeling is the disconnect between the price (reasonable for food, outrageous for cocktails) and the atmosphere (like a fast casual restaurant). And there is no happy hour. So we "protested" the outrageous cocktail prices by just ordering water. But again, the food is delicious! 5-star food in a 2 or 3 - star atmosphere that charges absolutely outrageous prices for cocktails with no HH exception. Get the equations in balance and this place is a phenomenal destination for S Portland / Tigard! :) The prices are somewhat reasonable I don't normally read more

Unfortunately this place will never get my service due to the lack of customer service even though I heard great things about their ceviche. I just got done sitting in the hospital waiting for my husband to get out of surgery and we were going to the store around the corner to help with the pain. I said I wanted to check out their menu and look at the menu. But I had to use the restroom before I ordered. I asked a question if the ceviche comes with chips having never tried Peruvian food before. And she pointed out what it came with. I told her I was going to wait for my husband and ask him. And then she told me that next time they don't allow public restrooms. And from that comment and it made me never want to go back in and dine there. We could've looked at the menu together but her dismissal just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I'm just having a rough day but kindness goes a lot further than snarkiness. read more

Great Peruvian Food! What's not to love about supporting a small, family-owned and operated restaurant? On the recommendation of a friend, seven of us met here for dinner tonight, and every single person raved about their meal. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, made with top sirloin, red onions, rice, potatoes, soy sauce, oyster sauce, red vinegar, and aji amarillo. The meat was unbelievably tender--you would never guess it was top sirloin. The dish was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors and was an absolute home run. This was my first time trying Peruvian food, and I can confidently say it won't be my last. I can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu. The food here is truly exceptional. read more

Very cute restaurant with Peruvian decor. When we came a gentleman was playing typical Peruvian music. The food is delicious and seems authentic to the culture. I got lomo de pobre. My finance got ceviche de Cameron. The staff is helpful and the wait was not too long at all. The sauces were delightful. Free vegetables and delicious and juicy meat. The ceviche was delicious and so brightly flavored. A must try read more

Great Peruvian food! We shared the ceviche de camarón which was delicious! We each got the Lomo Saltado, very big plates! This was delicious but a little saltier than I'm used to. The prices were pretty expensive, confusing because I've never paid this much for Peruvian food but maybe because it's in Oregon and more rare to find? Definitely not a place to come too often with these prices but the experience was really good, service was very kind. Plenty of seating! Not sure if they accommodate big parties so I would call ahead. read more

Its been awhile since we came here. We ate here with some friends and ordered a variety of items to share. Everything we ordered was well prepared and great. Their arroz chaufa de Pollo (like fried rice) was very flavorful and easy to enjoy. Both the Tallarin Saltado De Res and Tallarines Verde Con Milanesa De Pollo were excellent. The empanadas and papa a la huancaina were good appetizers to start of with. Overall, the food here is good and worth checking out. read more

When: Fri. Feb. 28th; Party of 10 Adults & 1 Child Service: It was all hands on-deck at this cozy Tigard Peruvian restaurant. Being that it was my first time dining here, for a wedding celebration dinner and being not familiar with the cuisine, our server, bartender and the entire staff made you feel comfortable and welcome. Despite a busy Friday night crowd, the staff was very patient and accommodating with our entire party. There is live music on Friday & Saturday nights, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Ambiance: As previous posts stated, parking is a bit confusing if you haven't been here before. If you are driving North on the 99W, the restaurant is right after Tigard Bowl or across the street from Taco Bell. If you see McDonald's on the corner, you have passed the restaurant. There is ample parking behind the restaurant down a hill. Tip: If you have elderly loved ones in your party, drop them off at the top of the hill, then park the car. Food: My wife had the Pollo Saltado and I had the Lomo A Lo Pobre as entrees. Both dishes were tasty with vibrant eye appeal and unique tastes that stimulated the taste buds without being overbearing. The patrons on this Friday night were an excellent mix of diversity, providing you a clue on how well received this Tigard neighborhood gem is being received. read more

This is one of those places I want to go back to so I can try more on the menu. We had the pleasure of dining when they had a live musician. We made a reservation and glad we did because it filled up quickly. We started with the empanadas; they had a nice texture and flavor, but the octopus dish was the star of the show. Tender meat alongside the best potatoes this side of the equator. For dessert, we got passion fruit pisco sours and I'll definitely get another one next time. The flavor was a fiesta for my tastebuds that went deep into my soul. read more

The inside is super cute. The octopus and lamb shank was perfectly cooked. The empanadas were fantastic. My favorite was the spicy sauce they brought to the table. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat read more

This is a gem add to the Tigard area. I was very excited to try Mi Pisco and the food did not disappoint. The parking situation is not my favorite as there's only one way in and out of the lot straight onto busy 99w and it's a small lot. Besides for that, service is great and food is delicious. Staff is friendly and are fantastic at giving recs based on preferences. Restaurant gets busy during peak hours, so definitely call ahead for a reservation if possible. I like to share food and eat a little of everything and the plates are very much shareable here so you can try a few different dishes. Everything we ate had such good flavor. Portions again are sharing portion so don't expect to be full off one plate! read more

Tigard, I can't even begin to tell you how lucky you are to have this restaurant in your community. If I could give them a 6 star, I would, that's how much we loved this place. This authentic Peruvian restaurant, cuts no corners in terms of their sourcing and technique. Ok, time for receipts, first up is the amazing fresh Ceviche, I had the Ceviche De Rocoto (this is the "spicy" one) very good, not too spicy for me, but I like spice, so... Second one I tried was, Ceviche De Aji Amarillo, this one is also amazing, less spicy but more silky smooth tasting. Service was professional, engaging, helpful and nice. This place might be my new favorite restaurant on the West Side. All & All ; A MUST visit and must haves are empanadas, ceviche for sure. Can't wait to return. Thank you, Mi Pisco ! read more

A somewhat odd place to have a Peruvian restaurant but rent is probably much lower for them. Overall I really enjoy the vibe and the cuisine is fairly authentic. What I wish was for the seafood and the lamb shank we ordered to be less gamey or fishy... which other S.America places pull off. Maybe it was an off day on a Sunday morning. Price-wise I felt it was reasonable compared to other Peruvian places in the city... but this isn't value dining by any means. Empanadas were my favorite and were the highlight. read more

Good ambience and good service. The plates in the photos (Aji de Gallina and Anticucho de Pollo) I ordered were delicious. I have visited Peru and eaten meals in Trujillo, Chimbote, Lima and Ollantaytambo and this restaurant definitely has authentic flavor and quality! read more

If you like your food flavorful, yet here. The flavors are amazing, so complex, so many layers. Our waiter was excellent. He is Peruvian and he knows so much about the food and the culture. And, importantly, he was passionate about sharing that. He wanted to explain how Peruvian cuisine differs from other Latin American cuisines. Obviously, the chef shares his passion. The dining room is nice. The menu is extensive. But parking looks like a problem until you drive a down the south side of the building and find the huge back lot. There is no children's menu and I would suggest that it's probably not the best place for kids. Vegetarian options are limited; vegetarianism just isn't a big part of Latin American culture or cuisine... or most other cuisines either. If you insist on vegetarianism, go to a restaurant whose cuisine emphasizes it rather than expecting others to somehow adapt to it. The food here is great and it's a great experience. I recommend it. read more

We finally made it here for dinner. They had live music which was a little loud for the small space but it was pleasant. The empanadas were amazing and the papa rellena was also good. They use the same sauce for both so I'd probably do another app next time. I really liked my chicken and vegetables. My husband had a pasta dish and the sauce was not something he would order again. My pisco punch was delicious. The staff was friendly. We will come back to try different dishes read more

The food was delicious, we had the lomo saltado, the empanadas, the ceviche, and a chicken and rice dish (clearly we were hungry) and there wasn't a thing we didn't like. Wanted to check out this place after seeing a post on IG and curious about Peruvian food. There was a lot to choose from on their menu and was looking forward to trying one of their cocktails on dry ice. Unfortunately, when we got there, our waiter told us that they were out of the dry ice so we weren't able to order one. A lot of the dishes had egg which I'm allergic to, but I did find something on the menu that did not disappoint. The service was spot on.! read more

The food wasn't good at all. I ordered the Jalea and the fish wasn't fresh it tasted rubbery, I can't even believe it!! The first Peruvian that wanted to change for a rocoto sauce. Mi Pisco was absolutely delicious! My friends and I stopped by after checking out the Dambo Troll nearby. None of us had heard of this establishment before, but Peruvian food sounded great. The parking lot was tricky (construction) but once we were inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The wait staff were all very friendly and professional. It was hard to choose a dish because the food around us looked so good! One friend and I ordered the Lomo Saltado and our other friend ordered a chicken dish with cilantro rice. Everyone in our party was incredibly satisfied. After our meal we met up with friends and shared the experience and the restaurant location. Absolutely steller peruvian spot! All the food was super fresh, particularly the seafood, which was absolutely delicious! Their selection of pisco sour cocktails are also very tasty. The service was great, the folks were welcoming, and the place itself was warm, cozy, and clean. I highly reccomend the papa rellenas, as they were freshly fried, crispy, and quite excellent! The rice dishes were also very flavorful and presented beautifully. You could tell the how fresh the shrimp was in the ceviche too! This spot is definitely a must try! read more

Casual vibe, very tasty food and pisco sour. Super fresh seafood too! We loved the Papa Rellena which were crispy on the outside and very creamy with their potato on the inside. The sauce that came with them were delicious. The pickled onions also made a great side to cut the fried rellena. The Shrimp Ceviche was decent too with fresh shrimp and lots of corn. Very refreshing. For mains, we split the Arroz con Marisco that came with a whole fried prawn and the Arroz con Pollo. Both were kinda like paella with flavorful rice. The arroz con pollo came with cilantro rice which I thought was very unique. The chicken thigh was very moist and tender but could be warmer...The seafood in the arroz con marisco was very very fresh. Big fan there! All in all, a great meal. The service was kinda new though so they have some stuffs to iron out but the quality of the food is definitely there. read more

We stopped here, hoping it would be a fairly quick sit-down lunch, and it exceeded expectations! We came on a Sunday at 1pm and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. We ordered 2 appetizers and 1 entree for the two of us to share: papa relleno, beef heart skewers, and lomo saltado. All three dishes were amazing. The sauce is so delicious. The papa rellenos came with a side of lime-marinated onion slivers which were also yummy. The appetizers were quite filling since they came with some small sides (for example, the beef skewers came with potatoes). The lomo saltado was cooked to perfection - nice, juicy chunks of steak, and it was served with rice, potatoes and roasted tomatoes. The ambience was nice - Peruvian decor and salsa music. The music was at the right level so you can still hear each other talk but still get a nice vibe in the background. Highly recommend this place!! read more

An absolute gem! so glad this restaurant caught my attention as I was running errands on SW Pacific Highway. It was the perfect place to stop for an early dinner. Inside is colorful and lively - but it's the delightful aroma of the food that immediately tells you, this is gonna be good! Plus the staff is so friendly. Feeling like comfort food on a cold and rainy day, I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. Yes, there were lots of interesting and more unique items on the menu, and chicken and rice is basic, but I assure you, there was nothing basic about this dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. The rice peppered with peas was equally delicious. The plating was colorful and artistic. It was the perfect choice. In fact, it was so good, I'm afraid I'm going to get it again when I go back and there are so many other items I want to try! Next time, I'll plan ahead and go with friends so we can enjoy cocktails and several dishes to share. Everything about this dish and restaurant was five stars. read more

I do like food and I love finding new places that are different with owners who are passionate about the food they serve. Mi Pisco is one of those places. First time here off of 99 and no regrets. Ordered the Empanada de Carne as a starter that immediately told me everything else is going to be wonderful. Had the Arroz Chaufa de Pollo (kind of a fried rice with chicken) that was very delicious. Also ordered the Lomo Saltado - Peruvian version of steak and potatoes. The meat was tender and the little potatoes were a nice touch. Finished with a creamy ice cream - Helado de Luccuma a type of fruit grown in the Peruvian Andes. (Yes I had to Google that!). Yummy. Service was excellent and the ambiance has that Peruvian flair with soft fluted music in a spacious room with plenty of comfortable seating. (One negative - parking. So think purple!) A must and will come back for me. read more
