The food here is incredible and every time I come I lost it more. It is authentic Salvadoran and Mexican food. The Birria pizza will change your life. The aqua frescas, no matter the flavor, is incredible. Cucumber lime may be my favorite though the apple is incredible too. The pupusas are fresh and flaky and cheesy and chewy. The tacos are traditional street tacos. The tortillas are fresh and homemade. The salsas are also fresh. There isn't a ton of people in the restaurant each time we go there, but the service is fantastic and even when they do have a heavy flow traffic they are very attentive and care very much about how their customers are enjoying their food. I've seen them turn the TV on for cartoons for kids and when there aren't kids, there's nice music in the background. It's a small restaurant and if you weren't paying attention, you'd miss it. Just saw this today. We stopped by for some jamaica, yum. Have you ever tried Salvadoran Quesadilla? We actually just made some at home and ate it this morning but it's hard to find and they sell it here! Try it! It's a baked sweet cake corn bread like item with lots of dairy butter and Parmesan YUM! Sesame seeds on top. It's a delicious combo eat with some coffee. read more

We noticed that recently on Hall Blvd in the same plaza where the Banya Japanese restaurant resides two new hispanic businesses open. One of them named Las Fronteras Cocina Latina, touts itself as a Pupuseria but its so much more than this. A close friend of ours stopy by the other day and nothing but great things to share around their food. Today we stopped by, as you enter you are greeted their friendly staff. they have many seating options, I would share that the interior is not large but its seem like you can easy fit about 40 people. The menu has some great Salvadorian/Guatemalan options that I miss. We ordered two Pupusas, the revuelta, chicharron (seasoned pork), beans and cheese, we also ordered a cheese and Loroco Pupusa, also good sized, I was very impressed with the amount of protein or filling serving within the Pupusa, they are legit. The second item we ordered was a Pan con pollo (chicken sandwich, served in a yummy gravy from the chicken), with a typical Salvadorian coleslaw, tomato slices, cucumber slices and a few radishes, this was amazing, it reminded me of my moms recipe a must try. The two final items we took home were two tamales, these are extremely authentic and home made, great amount of protein, both the Salvadorian chicken Tamales and the Mexican style Tamales. What an amazing find on the West side of town right within our neighborhood. As a Salvadorian, I am so looking forward to try the rest of their menu options. read more

They are located inset the little shopping center of 7-Eleven, Si Senor & Fireside Grill. They told me they serve Mexican, Salvadoran, and Guatemalan dishes. Very nice customer service and a simple, cute/clean interior to dine in. They also have frozen dessert. I enjoyed their pozole, which had some huge pieces of tender pork that fall off the bone, and the corn tortillas are nice and chewy. I had enough for two meals. I also liked their pupusas. The meals tasted homemade. My food was to go, but since they're a restaurant, give them time to prepare. read more

Went here today as it is close to our office and have been wanting to give it a try. The food was amazing! The sign says we are not a fast food restaurant so be patient. I tell you good things come to those who wait. My tamales were wrapped in banana leaves and so moist and full of flavor. My husband had the pork tacos and said they were so full of flavor. Loved the sauce that came with my tamales. They could bottle that and I would buy it all day. Very cheery and fun decorating. We will be back! Very friendly service. read more

We ordered pupusas to-go. The revueltas and chicarron con queso were the two favorites in my house. It's a great deal and a very filling meal. The cabbage slaw and hot sauce were really good toppings too. I'm so excited to have a local place to get pupusas, since there aren't many nearby. They make the food to order, so we waited 10-15 minutes, but the first was really fresh and worth waiting for! read more

The food here is absolutely incredible!! I ordered the birria burrito and i mean there's good Mexican, and there's this place. The food is so delicious that it's an absolute experience and it actually transported me to someplace else it was so good. I also ordered horchata and it was definitely some of the best horchata I've ever had although it was very different and the taste was somewhat familiar, then i realized they had chopped up cantaloupe in it. This place is a hidden gem!! I almost dont want to leave this review because i I don't want people knowing about my new favorite spot. I've came here twice and each time the food has been immaculate. You know those places that you go once and the food is good and then you go again and it's not so good I was nervous that it was gonna be like that here, but it was great both times I went. service was great prices are good and the food is honestly so so good.
