Ok. What even is this place? I saw it on some foodie TikTok video and decided I need to make my way over here... I had no idea, when pulling into a random strip mall type parking lot in north Portland, that I was in for one of the best meals yet. Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you. This place is a hands-down knock out taquito fest. When you walk in, you order at the counter and then there is ample space to wait for your rolled and fries plate of pure JOY to arrive at the window to pick up. For me, I am hardcore potato lover, and the fact that these taquitos are filled with potatoes, and then have the rest of the protein served on top makes these next level for me. All of the condiments are perfect, perfectly balanced, and make these some of the best taquitos, truly, that I have ever had. Finish it off with a delicious Mexican brownie, and then my advice is to go home at that point because your day has peaked and it's not getting any better unless you plan on coming back for dinner.

The food was amazing and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. I went here with a group of 4 other friends and there was about a 40 minute wait but we were able to kill time walking around Multnomah Village. The portion size was extremely generous and I loved the combination of textures! Definitely looking forward to coming here again!

Mini Sopes

Had a wonderful experience at Tito's for an early dinner. I loved that for the mini sopes I could have a different protein for each one so I was able to sample different meats. The chorizo was very flavorful and not oily which is my desired style. Ceviche was large and filling. The taquitos did steal the show with their perfectly crisp shells.

Tito's!

Don't let the name fool you - Tito's entire menu is spectacular. The food is fresh, inventive, crafted with care, presented beautifully, and a joy to eat. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is modern and bright. We grab lunch here a few times a month and look forward to it every time. Our usual order is the chorizo taquitos, chicken taquitos and of course, Pacificos. Multnomah Village is lucky to have Tito's.

This place never fails to amaze. We went to the food truck and then to the N Portland lunch spot, and now this perfection in Multnomah Village. There was about a 40 minute wait (on a Friday, so expected), but there is a cute Bar next door to grab a drink. The hostess who sat us was friendly and informative. The waitress was very helpful, apparently yesterday was their grand OLCC opening (aka first day they could serve alcohol). The drinks took a little longer but it was a first day logistic thing and the waitress was very sweet about it. We got the Tamarindo ribs, Churritos, and the citrus pork taquitos. Churritos are fun to eat and a perfect initial bite. Ribs were spicy in the best way, and were a perfect starter to the taquitos that have lots of flavor but are not spicy. That was the perfect amount for two people, which is unfortunate because I really wanted dessert and just couldn't manage. I have had their tres leches at their other spots and it's amazing. I don't typically like tres leches but they do it SO WELL. Worth a try if you also don't typically go for tres leches.

Great food and decent prices for what they are serving. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Ordered the ribs (which were amazing), pork taquitos, and 3 different sopes. Everything was really delicious and portions were very slightly larger than expected (usually for higher end dining you expect to get less food and pay more).

Bomb fish taco!

This place 1000% deserves 5 stars! I'm visiting from LA, home of some of the best Mexican food, and Tito's is totally unique and SO yummy! The staff was warm and friendly, and the combination of flavors in every bite was chef's kiss. I usually modify when I order out, but I left everything as is and wow! My only gripe is that you can't mix and match taquitos, and I didn't want to commit to one kind of protein, so I didn't get to try them, but they're probably great for shares. I ordered the sopes - one shrimp, one pork, one beef - and a fish taco. The beef sope and fish taco were the winners for me, so fresh and tasty. This is a true hidden gem of a place that I don't think will be hidden for long, so hurry on in!

It is the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable settling into. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, and the service was genuinely great throughout. We ordered the Quekas with vegan chorizo and black beans and they were SO good, honestly a standout. The chips and guac were also a hit, and I loved that the guac was actually cold. Such a small detail that makes a big difference. The Citrus Salad was super fresh, crisp, and delicious, which balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the NA classic margarita and it was so refreshing. I loved the subtle touch of orange juice. Overall, such a lovely spot with amazing food, great vibes, and thoughtful details. I will definitely be back!

Today my wife and I enjoyed scrumptious Tacotes, one chicken and one Bok Choy with house made salsa. Also, the Tetela de Requeson, maiz, beans and sprouting broccoli with a house made requeson - kind of like ricotta cheese - very beautifully plated and so delicious. Extra side of yummy and creamy black bean frijoles with sour cream, butter, tortillas. Instead of desert, the Mezcal, chile and lime was refreshing. Right now open for lunch Thursday through Sunday 10-3pm. No fixed menu, changes with what's fresh - the way chef Angel loves to cook respecting what is in season. Service and ambiance is friendly and knowledgeable about the food and its origin - another reason I love dining here so I learn about what I'm eating and how it was inspired. Yes, the food plated looks so good, I am inspired to dig in. There's a reason it was recognized early in its start by Eater, Portland Monthly and the Oregonian as one of the best restaurants in the city because foodies seek out and love to go where the food experience is special - especially the chef tasting menus in the past. Now I'm watchful and ready to go back and see what the chef Angel is serving up. What else is so special is Republica was a James Beard award nominee too!

I was excited to go here as I had been meaning to visit for at least 6 months. I wasn't disappointed. This taqueria is the real deal, and very authentic. I also appreciate it's LGBTQ owned, and like to be inclusive in how I spend money. The tacos are amazing I had two there, and took two home. They were all delicious and not one disappointed. Their taco menu is very extensive, and it's nice that they have a lot of vegetarian options as well. One of my favorites was the one with mole ,and poblanos, also the chicken one, also the carnitas. Flavors so rich and satisfying. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Extremely quick service which I love. Even though I only speak a little bit of Spanish. I tried, and they were very welcoming. They are fluent in Spanish. I knew it was an authentic taqueria when I heard a native spanish speaker speak Spanish at the counter. I don't want to leave out their drinks as they have quite a selection both alcoholic, and non alcoholic. I tried the horchata, which was amazing. I have been craving Pozole for a long time, and they had it as a special chicken with green sauce, and pork and a red sauce. Both simply amazing and a great deal. This restaurant is very reasonable, and you get quite a lot for the money. Last but not least I can't forget the ambiance which felt very authentic, and reminded me of being in a Taqueria in Mexico or Southern California. the place is decorated very thoughtful with a lot of candles, and many shrines. They also have a love of Mariah Carey and saw many photos of here in the restaurant. They have both outdoor seating and indoor seating. A lot of plants outside which all seem very happy and well cared for. I love this place, and will be going back for sure. The place is very casual which I appreciate. By the time we left around 6 PM, the dinner rush had started and a line was forming at the door. The interior is well decorated, modern, and clean. The server was friendly and service was fast. We ordered the bowl, one with carnitas and other with avocado. Both were very tasty! You can tell that the ingredients were fresh, the carnitas were tender and well seasoned. They also had a mango hot sauce brought to the table in a bottle that is amazing. I drenched my bowl with the sauce for the extra kick and flavor. The bowls are very filling. We ended up boxing up half of our food to bring home and finish for a late dinner. Would definitely come again and try their hot sandwiches. Will have to look into whether they sell their mango hot sauce separately as well. I'd buy a bottle!

I have had some meals at the bar where the bartenders were genuinely engaged knowledgeable and happy to walk you through their agave list which only enhances the whole experience. I will be honest and say that the service can sometimes lean into the typical Portland vibe of aloof and uninterested but there have also been moments especially at the bar where the staff really shines and makes you feel welcome and taken care of. Even with that quirk the overall experience is fantastic and it does nothing to take away from how much I enjoy eating here.
