The service was friendly! Our server was attentive and warm. Interior has an old charm vibe - apparently they still use the same decorations from when it first opened. In the end there was a bit of a billing hiccup and it took about 3 calls over the span of 3 weeks to get it fixed. That was a little bit of a nuisance since I had to keep calling and asking them to fix it, and they ultimately did. Free street parking in the area. Knowing more about this restaurant today I ordered a small sausage pizza. The place it self is dated and divy so it's not a good date place. It's small with a small bar as you walk in and a dinner room on the other side. I called in a small sausage pizza and I was told 30 minutes while I was parked in front of the place with no visible traffic which I thought was a long time. 25 minutes later I go and get it. I ate it one minute after walking out and you could tell it was sitting around for awhile because the cheese had no pull and it was solidifying. It did look good with that thin cracker crust and reminded me of when I lived in Chicago we would order this style of pizza to the bar. The pizza had a nice thin cracker crust. The sauce was on the sweet side. The Italian sausage was the star because it was the quintessential perfect pizza sausage and seasoned nicely like a good Italian sausage. The pizza was still good and delicious but fresh out of the oven would the way to go. Overall if the pizza was fresh out of the oven and you sat in the restaurant is the way to go in my opinion.

The plates had 3 churros, a small dish of warm chocolate sauce, were decorated with Happy Birthday & a candle. All with finesse. An overall great meal and great experience. The only complaint i can offer is that our server was not as attentive as you'd want. It wasn't bad service; just not as prompt as you'd expect (i.e. asked how our food was as we were halfway through the dish, we finished our cocktails and were never asked if we wanted another, empty plates sat on the table a bit longer than they should). None of which will keep us from coming back. Will chalk it up to a busy Saturday first seating.

We placed our order (1 pizza and 1 order of breadsticks) but didn't hear how long it would take. As 5pm rolled around (along with another 5 -8 people ordering in the meantime), we tried checking in on our order. We were told it's "being worked on". This was after we saw another employee come from the kitchen and chat for about 5 minutes with the front staff. Many people came in from the drive thru asking for the order saying they've been waiting at least 20 minutes. Every time someone got close to wrapping up our order (literally just grabbing an order of breadsticks), they would get distracted and walk away to do something else. It was excruciating that a pizza and sticks took over 40 minutes when it was empty there. If we come back, we plan on ordering well in advance and show up late to ensure the food is actually ready. Otherwise, the price isn't worth the hassle given the poor customer service here. There isn't much in the way of ambiance here - you could dine in but probably would prefer grab and go. The pizza was good but small for the price. The breadsticks were gummy and may not have been baked all the way through.
