Don't trust Justin only Bijan! Brought my car for service because it was overheating and Justin told me it was my head gaskets. After getting 2 more professionals to diagnosis it, they both said that I had air in the cooling system and not head gaskets. Talked to Justin about my recently acquired S2000. He prides himself in his work. His prices are very good for tires. A little bit expensive for a valve adjustment, but totally worth it. When I first purchased my S2000 back in July of 2012, it was bone stock with nothing done and I intended to keep it that way. Well, some things never change, the mod bug hit me and after browsing forums upon forums, I was torn between Rockstar and Forbidden, another vendor for hardtops in California. Forbidden's customer service and ability to answer some pretty simple requests definitely put me off, so I veered towards Rockstar and boy was I glad I did. I first dealt with Justin, the owner about my initial inquiry and after some time passed, I had my questions and details ironed out. Thereafter, Stephen walked me through my additional prep work questions as I wanted the back window installed and the entire top painted (risky, I know) prior to shipment. They shipped the top out about 2 weeks after my initial inquiry and it took about a week or so to arrive - so a total of three weeks from start to finish. The top arrived PERFECTLY without issues. The next big thing, the paint and match - it was almost perfect, given my car's color is extremely hard to match especially without blending (rio yellow pearl), I was blown away. Fitment was spot on for a mugen replica and the window seals were okay (not wanting to pay 300+ for Honda oem seals at the time). I couldn't have been more happy. I've referred much business over to Rockstar for hardtop inquiries as my reflection was they provided stellar service and I would find it hardpressed to see another vendor at this time beat what they could offer. I have been "talked out of" some modifications (which costs them $), which was in my best interests (which gains them credibility and trust). They care about my goals for these cars. What can I say about Rockstar garage except they are amazing! I got an exhaust for my sti and wanted it installed, it was on a Saturday, I called around and no one could get to it that day. We've all gotten new parts and get excited and of course want it installed that day right?! Well I happened to find the rockstars at rockstar garage, they were currently not open, but they called down to the shop since some of the employees were working on their track car. They told me to head down and then would install it (even though they were closed they opened the doors for me). They led to me to a awesome waiting room, gave me free water bottles, charged me the least out of all other quotes, got right to the install. During the install I was missing a gasket, they searched high and low through the shop to try to find one for me to make sure everything was perfect! I went in to get an alignment done for my Mitsubishi, they were able to take a same day appointment which was great. Unfortunately, there were a bit busy and I ended up having to wait for a couple of hours after my appointment time until they could get to my vehicle. That was a bit of a drag, but they're passionate about motorsports and cars in general and it shows. The shop was professional and had a clean, air conditioned waiting room as well. Only other thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that I never received an alignment sheet after the job was complete. I was told one would be waiting for me in my car once the job was done but to this day I can't find it. So while the did a solid job (the car drives straight), I don't really know my own alignment specs now. read more

Been doing my own mechanic work the past 12 years, but of it's a job that requires special tools or knowledge/skill, I take my S2000 to the S2000 pros. They have done my valve adjustment, replaced my soft top and now replaced both rear wheel hub and bearings. They always do a good job and use OEM parts, so you know its quality work. I never write reviews but this guy Justin deserves a 1 star review. I'm not talking about his crew because he personally was the one was working on my car. I have an 06 s2000 and I brought my car in to install coilovers. He installed it than said there is a misfire in my car when I checked there wasnt. It was just o2 sensor cuz of the cat. Anyways he tries to work on my car and changes the seals for the valve gasket. Put the cheapest ones that slip off so easy and I had oil in my cylinders again because of his seals. I bought new seals myself next day and installed it and they are so much tighter and better. I know forsure this won't become loose like his in one day! Than he tried to sell me lug nuts for like 80$ and a new test pipe instead of my cat. He said there won't be any check engine light. I said test pipes make the check engine on. So he made me waste my 120 to buy a test pipe when I could've just kept my cat or used that money tours the highflow cat. When he pulled the coils and spark plugs there were in oil. He didn't even bother to clean it normall and clean inside of the valve gasket. Just wiped it with a towel. What a proffesional. Oh yeah, he didn't even figure out my misfire that he was talking about. Couldn't tell what it was. He said he tried everything. Next day I took it to my other mechanic that he was talking shit about and saying he is old, he is old, fixed it in 2-3 hours just by adjusting valves lol. Everything is like brand new now. Car only has 90k miles on and get serviced every 2500 miles!! I will never come back here again or wouldn't recommend anyone to go there! read more

Sold me a feal suspension for a 9th gen si that came with a rear clunking noise. Justin tried to blame it on my exhaust when clearly the clunking noise wasn't even an issue prior to this shop installing the feal coilovers. Also initially when they sold me the set the front struts had a fitting issue. When I got my car back they gave me it back with feal coils on the back and stock struts on the front. I waited for over a month waiting for the right coils to come back from feal, meanwhile I drove for about a month driving with my car on unequal ride height which was ridiculously frustrating. Spent over $1000 on trash . I don't doubt the work they do for s2k's but if you have any other car stay away. Horrible work ethic as well because they gave my car back with various missing misc plastic parts under the hood like liner clips etc.. Thanks guys ! I will never go back and will continue to sway other car guys like me far away from your shop for time to come. This ordeal was a learning experience for myself when dealing with unethical/unprofessional mechanical shops, as a customer if you pay for a service you should fully expect nothing but quality work and accept nothing less.
