America's Tire

America's Tire

(390 reviews)

Getting a flat tire sucks. So does going to a mechanic shop as a woman on my own. But this…read moreAmerica's Tire location is fantastic! I booked an appointment online (super easy), and only had to wait about ten mins in line when I arrived. The staff were kind, respectful and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I had forgotten about their policy to fix a flat tire for free (as long as it's an easy fix). This is a new-to-me car and I have no idea where/if these tires were originally purchased at America's Tire, but that didn't matter. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes (making an appointment matters!) and I didn't pay anything. I am sincerely so grateful. They made a crappy situation (getting a flat tire) and a potentially cringey conversation (being a woman in an all male place) into an easy, safe, encouraging and fast experience. Thank you!!

I had one of my best experiences at this store today! After getting our tires done, I had issues…read morewith my credit card. One of their employees (Josh) went above and beyond to assist us with this issue. I was going to tell him if it was too much trouble to put it in another card, but he said, "Let me call customer service and if they cannot help us, then I will use your other card." He helped me resolve my issue and he did it with the best attitude! I would highly recommend America's Tires! Particularly if Josh is around, you will be very happy with your experience. Thank you!

Pep Boys - New tires

I always come to this Pep Boys after having a poor experience at the one on Central in Chino. They…read moreare sooo friendly and a pleasure to talk to here and always make time to try and squeeze me in no matter what. I've had nails patched, gotten new tires, all my oil changes and today I called in on my way home from work asking if they could get me in to check and potentially replace my battery. My car was struggling to start and I prayed it'd just be battery and not the starter or something bigger. They made time to check it right away and get the new battery going! Oscar is always there to help and is such a pleasure to chat with and always takes amazing care of me as if I were a friend. That's hard to come by these days when everyone treats each other like a number. Thank you for making dealing with car troubles less of a stress!

Very disappointing experience…read more I had a completely flat tire on my Tesla Cybertruck and was parked only about 40-50 meters away from this Pep Boys. I explained the situation and was told to bring the truck over, so I drove it there on the flat tire. After I got there, they refused to inflate the tire or repair it and told me that I had to buy a new tire. I even explained that I already had another tire at home, but they would not install a used/customer-supplied tire either. If they were not willing to inflate, repair, or install my tire, I wish they had told me before asking me to drive a heavy Cybertruck 40-50 meters on a completely flat tire. I ultimately had to call a mobile tire service and pay $120 to come help me. I understand that a shop may refuse a repair for safety or liability reasons. My complaint is about being told to drive the vehicle over first, only to find out afterward that they would not help with the flat tire unless I purchased a new tire.
