I can't say enough good things about GTR High Performance! A couple months ago, I had an error code that kept popping up and after talking to FOUR different mechanics, no one could figure it out. GTR was the only shop that pinpointed the problem and replaced my shutter grille. The code never came back! More recently, my check engine light came on again. I thought it might be the purge valve since that's the most common code that showed up on my OBD2, but GTR checked it and confirmed it was just the purge valve solenoid causing the issue. They replaced it and my Mustang is running perfectly once again. What I appreciate most is their honesty -- they never try to upsell me or make things more complicated than they are. As a girl with a Mustang, that's rare! They've always been straightforward, trustworthy, and their work is top notch. 10/10 service every time. Found this shop on yelp and was planning to do my future mods w/ them. Gave them a try first, ordered lowering springs & clutch spring for my 19 mustang gt from them. Took a whole day for install and on my home had issues already (clanks and knocks on my front suspension). Also got charged for clutch spring installation w/c i installed myself, since they didn't have time for it. Reached back to them for my lowering springs issues but as always theyre booked and packed as I was told. So yeah, negative 1st exp. Won't go back. Hit or miss read more

I have dealt with this shop since 2020 and have heard nothing but a bunch of stories from these guys why something went wrong, they are unreliable, unresponsive to their customers you call and they leave you on hold for 30 mins or so, I might not have spend Tens of thousands of dollars at this shop but I spend my share of what I was asked to pay for work being done to my vehicle this shop made me buy parts I didn't even need because they couldn't diagnose a simple problem, they wasted my time and money that I'll never get back for a shop that's so good at oil changes it sucks to hear that you guys don't do half of your own work and outsource everything and charge double and have countless of times failed to provide good quality work. I am disappointed and hurt that you guys kept my vehicle for 2 months and didn't fix a thing to me and lied to me about working on my vehicle I drove home with breaks on a stretch of 50 miles and all you could say so sorry I hope your kids never experience what you have done to some of your customers karma comes around. All I have to say is WOW. I drove down 3.5 hours from Central California to GTR High Performance to have some work done on my 2002 Roush Stage 2 Kenne Bell S/C. They came highly recommended by Kenne Bell which was conveniently located in the same area maybe a few blocks from each other. Upon arriving to GTR High Performance I was immediately met by Gonzalo and Ricardo (Brothers and Co-Owners of the shop) with smiles and open arms. I immediately felt welcome and a part of the family despite me not being a regular and out of town. They both were very respectful, caring, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I have never been to a performance shop with such high regards for quality work, impeccable customer service, and strict deadlines. All three times I called they never had time for me. Ended up going to mpr motorsports. Spent 20k with them on all I wanted to do and had excellent customer service. I have been working with them for over 10 years from when they had a small one driveway car, all the way up to now with their 10,000 sq ft lot...and each and every step of the way they have been real, professional, honest and just plain old caring. They treat you like a person, not just a customer. They go the extra mile for you, emails, phone calls, diagnosis of car, etc. If you are a Mustang enthusiast and need some parts installed or your car checked, I would HIGHLY recommend GTR to you. Took my 1990 foxbody since I was having a little bit of trouble with my idle after building a new motor. Gonzalo was helpful at the front desk, quoted me for a new fuel pump and fuel regulator, installed in 2 days which was not bad for how many cars they have in the shop on a daily bases. Car runs great and way smoother with new parts and minor TPS adjustment. Will be returning in 2 weeks for some dyno runs. read more

Ricardo and Gonzalo are the best in the business! Both provide stellar customer service (and that's an understatement) and are extremely knowledgeable. I went in to have my car tuned (I came from a different shop that could not figure out why was car couldn't be tuned properly) and Ricardo was able to get down to core issues. Ricardo took the time to explain exactly what was wrong, why it was an issue and how to fix it. He was able to tune my car to be reliable on the street. I still need to return once I fix my exhaust leak to have it tuned properly. But that, of course, will be after I get my taxes!! I just purchased a steeda tri ax short shifter for my '12 mustang gt. Definitely a lot better than the stock shifter. Overall quality is amazing and I have a hard time trusting performance shops so I did my research and found that this was the best choice. I would warn anybody to not patronize these guys. They took over 15 months to rebuild my engine. They didn't respond to calls or texts in a timely fashion. I thought them fantastic when I had them put in my Kenne Bell supercharger. So much so I drove in from another state to have them exclusively work on my car. I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden their work and customer service went to crap. I had them rebuild an automatic transmission only to have it break down driving it to New Mexico and found out they had cracked the case and tried to hide it with JB Weld without having the decency to tell me. It took them months ( over six ) to finally repair it and that was after telling me Ford did not make any new transmission cases for it ( I looked it up online and Ford did make new cases ). Ok I thought this was a fluke and I had several years of reliable service from them. When the transmission was fixed they told me I had a slight ticking noise in the engine I told them I did not want to take a chance and I wanted to rebuild the motor. I asked whether I should put a 5,0 Coyote motor or rebuild the engine I had with all forged internals. They said the better way to go was rebuild my motor and they had the perfect engine builder locally they had dealt with for years. So I followed their advice. Took them from August 2018 to Dec. 3, 2019 to get me my car back. They had the engine back from the shop that rebuilt it in March 2019 and it took them till now to get it in the car and running so it could pass a smog test. My registration expired during the year plus they had it and I could get the renewal with out a smog test that passed. March to Dec. 2019. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. A. J. read more

Came here to get my S197 done up and Gonzalo, Ricardo, Elie are freaking awesome. They installed my Vortech SUpercharger, ceramic coated headers, short shifter, etc. And the car runs grrrrreat! They also have an in house Dyno so you can see what kind of numbers you are putting out. They dont try to sell you things you dont need just to make a quick buck and they make you feel at home. All of them are ASE certified so you know they know the game. And they are always readily available to answer any questions you may throw at them.
