Came in for an appointment in the AM and immediately got my car in. Sat down on their couches, connected to WiFi, and waited for a dual resonator delete on my Type R. After a little over an hour and $170 my resonators are now gone! Thank you Speedway. Everyone here is nice and welcoming. I'll be back with my other car to fix some shoddy work I received from another shop. Would strongly recommend speedway for speed and value! read more

I stopped by this shop to get some information and a quote for some possible work on my car. Unfortunately, I found the interaction quite unprofessional and felt that my questions were dismissed rather than addressed. The owner (?) was quite passive aggressive and didn't really seem to want to help. Customer service is important to me, and I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere. These guys are freaking amazing!!!! I had a muffler swap done on my Corolla hatchback and they upsold me for very good reasons. The muffler I had bought originally was too restrictive and they showed me what the flow master super 10 would sound like. Needless to say, it was worth the extra 100 bucks because I am extremely happy with the sound. It's not too loud at cruising rpm, but when you get on the throttle, it gives me that loud deep tone I was looking for. Additionally, these guys know what they're talking about when it comes to exhaust work. The service is a bit expensive but it's worth it absolutely because they will do the job right with perfect welds. Not only am I satisfied with the outcome, I will be returning to get an exhaust tip installed. Cannot recommend enough! read more

I can't say enough about Rick and his crew. Just great craftsmen and all around good guys. I had a serious issue with my RV exhaust system (bad work done by another shop). They diagnosed the issue, proposed some fixes and did the work on the spot. I mean we were in a serious bind and they stepped in and took care of me and my family like their own. I had a great experience there yesterday. I definitely recommend Speedway Muffler of Rancho Cucamonga. A few weeks ago, I noticed my 2001 Tacoma had an exhaust leak. It was minor but I could hear it and I was occasionally smelling exhaust in the cab. I crawled around underneath three times and got the impression my leak was around my first catalytic converter somewhere. I couldn't quite localize it 100% though. I stopped by Speedway around noon yesterday. They took their exhaust stethoscope doodad and listened. The leak was in fact on the front side of the first catalytic converter. They let it cool off for a bit and then welded the crack closed. They charged a more than reasonable price and I was in and out of there in probably an hour. I'm told they've been in business since 1977. I first discovered the place back in the late '80s when my '79 Toyota pickup needed a new muffler. I had them install a Cherry Bomb. It was cheap and it did the job. I went back a few years later when my '84 Toyota pickup needed a new muffler. That time I had them install a Flowmaster. Both times I received great work at very reasonable prices. It's nice to see that they are carrying on the tradition to this day. read more

First off, I took a car of mine there way back in the 1990's and they did a great job. Recently a mechanic that I saw up in Las Vegas thought the clicking sound I was hearing on my van was probably a muffler or exhaust leak. I decided to try going by Speedway and just make an appointment....the guys there pretty much immediately took a look at it and said it wasn't the obvious exhaust leak that could be just welded and I'd be on my way. They suggested I take it to my regular mechanic for an official diagnosis. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to go to a shop and have them give me some of their time and honest opinion. It reminded me of the way life used to be simpler, honest and a handshake was your word. Although I didn't need service from them, I wouldn't hesitate trusting or recommending them to anyone who is in need of muffler service. read more

Went early in the morning to install a Greddy exhaust axle back on my 2012 civic. Employees/owner were all very hospitable and informed me about what they thought was best and why. I think it's great to always inform your customers and have them make any last decisions before the job gets started/is complete which they did. My exhaust broke off from a pothole and was in absolute shambles and didn't know where to start, I remembered Speedway Muffler did great work on my truck years prior so I thought I'd give them a shot for this problem. Great work for a great price, I would have given them so much more for how fast they got it done and my problem was fixed. This is completely unacceptable. If you book an appointment weeks out and drop your vehicle off on time, there should be clear communication and realistic scheduling. Waiting until the customer calls hours later to say the job won't be done shows a lack of respect for people's time. If they were overbooked or short-staffed, that should have been communicated before taking the appointment or at least first thing in the morning, not halfway through the day after the vehicle has already been sitting there. On my appointment day, I met with Troy and I asked him regarding the specifics on what the Bullet Liner coverage would look like and what was involved with regards to the removal of non-coated items in the truck bed. Troy went over all the details with me as he called out areas in my truck bed that would see coverage, what would be pulled/masked off that should not be sprayed, and even the reasons for why certain things would be elected to be kept bare, such as the bed bolts. Now, I've spoken with others and have had the personal experience of seeing a multitude of different truck bed lining treatments - all I can say is, Troy is representative of a professional with an attention to detail skill set and someone who takes pride in their craft. That attention to detail showed and the result was an ultra-clean and well-laid out coverage throughout the F-150's bed. Best of all, it's not super-abrasive, but definitely has a gripping surface with a hardness that can obviously take a beating. I'm really pleased with the result. If you're looking to save some skin on those knees when kneeling down in your truck bed and you're looking for a very competitively priced spray-in bedliner that is hard as nails, this is the way to go! My Type R has IRX 35% all around including windshield and looks super dark since the interior absorbs a lot of light. However, I included an interior shot to show how QUALITY tint is supposed to look regardless of the darkness (I can see easily at night). Time and time again I hear people try to penny pinch and get better deals elsewhere for worse product but Sage and their line of tints speak for themselves. You get what you pay for.
