Came in for an appointment in the AM and immediately got my car in. Sat down on their couches, connected to WiFi, and waited for a dual resonator delete on my Type R. After a little over an hour and $170 my resonators are now gone! Thank you Speedway. Everyone here is nice and welcoming. I'll be back with my other car to fix some shoddy work I received from another shop. Would strongly recommend speedway for speed and value! read more

I stopped by this shop to get some information and a quote for some possible work on my car. Unfortunately, I found the interaction quite unprofessional and felt that my questions were dismissed rather than addressed. The owner (?) was quite passive aggressive and didn't really seem to want to help. Customer service is important to me, and I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere. Speedway Mufflers always takes care of me. After an off-road adventure left me with a huge exhaust leak and a busted muffler, I brought my truck in and they got it handled quickly and professionally. These guys are freaking amazing!!!! I had a muffler swap done on my Corolla hatchback and they upsold me for very good reasons. The muffler I had bought originally was too restrictive and they showed me what the flow master super 10 would sound like. Needless to say, it was worth the extra 100 bucks because I am extremely happy with the sound. It's not too loud at cruising rpm, but when you get on the throttle, it gives me that loud deep tone I was looking for. Additionally, these guys know what they're talking about when it comes to exhaust work. The service is a bit expensive but it's worth it absolutely because they will do the job right with perfect welds. Not only am I satisfied with the outcome, I will be returning to get an exhaust tip installed. Cannot recommend enough! read more

I had a great experience there yesterday. I definitely recommend Speedway Muffler of Rancho Cucamonga. A few weeks ago, I noticed my 2001 Tacoma had an exhaust leak. It was minor but I could hear it and I was occasionally smelling exhaust in the cab. I crawled around underneath three times and got the impression my leak was around my first catalytic converter somewhere. I couldn't quite localize it 100% though. I stopped by Speedway around noon yesterday. They took their exhaust stethoscope doodad and listened. The leak was in fact on the front side of the first catalytic converter. They let it cool off for a bit and then welded the crack closed. They charged a more than reasonable price and I was in and out of there in probably an hour. I'm told they've been in business since 1977. I first discovered the place back in the late '80s when my '79 Toyota pickup needed a new muffler. I had them install a Cherry Bomb. It was cheap and it did the job. I went back a few years later when my '84 Toyota pickup needed a new muffler. That time I had them install a Flowmaster. Both times I received great work at very reasonable prices. It's nice to see that they are carrying on the tradition to this day. read more

First off, I took a car of mine there way back in the 1990's and they did a great job. Recently a mechanic that I saw up in Las Vegas thought the clicking sound I was hearing on my van was probably a muffler or exhaust leak. I decided to try going by Speedway and just make an appointment....the guys there pretty much immediately took a look at it and said it wasn't the obvious exhaust leak that could be just welded and I'd be on my way. They suggested I take it to my regular mechanic for an official diagnosis. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to go to a shop and have them give me some of their time and honest opinion. It reminded me of the way life used to be simpler, honest and a handshake was your word. Although I didn't need service from them, I wouldn't hesitate trusting or recommending them to anyone who is in need of muffler service. read more

Went early in the morning to install a Greddy exhaust axle back on my 2012 civic. Employees/owner were all very hospitable and informed me about what they thought was best and why. I think it's great to always inform your customers and have them make any last decisions before the job gets started/is complete which they did. My exhaust broke off from a pothole and was in absolute shambles and didn't know where to start, I remembered Speedway Muffler did great work on my truck years prior so I thought I'd give them a shot for this problem. Great work for a great price, I would have given them so much more for how fast they got it done and my problem was fixed. VW advised me to replace the valve cover gasket but Jesse let me know it's very likely that whole value cover needs to be replaced since they are made of plastic and crack. The valve cover replacement at MB Euro cost me less than the dealership was charging for the valve cover gasket alone. Trust that the mechanic knows more than you and will diagnose and fix what actually need, not what they want to do. Martin is that guy. He will give you the truth, not push you to act and charge you fairly. We used to travel almost an hour to our mechanic and now this is much closer. You may not know me personally and that's okay. But I care about value and quality and I'm switching over to Martin taking my cars there now. Let me also add that his communication with me BEFORE I became a customer was excellent. Changing this starter cost me a ten minute YouTube video and about 20 minutes of work. A ratchet, an extender, and three metric sockets. Bananas. This repair was easier and cleaner than an oil change. I get it that it's a shop. I get that not every starter is going to be this easy, but you can walk over to a parking stall with the new starter and bang out two or three of these per hour if you're a professional. If you need quality Toyota parts quick, this is your next best thing to a dealership.

ive got to say i didnt know about this place until my friends told me about it and i had multiple friends tell me this was the place to go because they took multiple vehicles here and had great experiences everytime. so when it was time for me to finally upgrade to true duals and my mercury grand marquis with dual 40 series flowmasters to give that true muscle car sound i came to this speedway muffler. i was not disappointed. turns out it is a father son operation and they have been doing it the majority of their lives and know everything there is about muffler systems. i came in and needed to replace my o2 sensors and who ever did my exhaust before had the catalyctic on side ways pinning the o2 sensory to my frame so it could not be replaced. they helped turn my cat and put in the o2 sensor re threaded the hole so it fit perfect and did a complete custom 2 and 3/4 inch piping all the way through to my dual 40s and the same out with chrome tips that both look and sound amazing. i had asked what they would suggest for my car and they were knowledgeable in their answers and gave me an honest price that beat everyone else i was looking into. plus i didnt need to leave my car there and wait a long time to have it done. they both got to work on my car and while i waited i went inside to play pool in their billiards room for free. thats what im talking about. i played only a couple games and they were almost done. they were flying through the professionally custom bent piping and the welds look amazing. thanks to them my car sounds like the muscle car it should sound like and i felt the horses to the wheels when i left. another great thing is that they give a lifetime warranty on their work and thats great when sometimes you hit that one driveway and it ruins your tail pipe because you come back and they dont charge you to fix it. i love this place. ill be back again for some boom tubes and for my next car. thanks guys. read more

Awesome experience! I called Speedway Muffler in Rancho Cucamonga about a catalytic converter for my PT Cruiser. Dave, the owner, told me to call Napa Auto Parts and buy the catalytic converter from them. Dave said he had sold them for over 35 years, but because of the new requirements, muffler shops would have to have $60,000 in inventory, compared to years past when $2,500 in inventory would cover the same cars, so muffler shops no longer carry them in stock. Cars and trucks '95 and newer, I am told, must have a test group number or family group number, along with the make, model, year, and engine size. That information is located under the hood on a white sticker. Without those numbers, you will not get the proper part. Dave said after I purchased the part, he would install it for $60! The dealer wanted over $650 for the catalytic converter, Napa's price was $229. I saved so much money!! Dave explained, don't be fooled by other muffler shops. They will say they have it in stock, keep your car all day, they will pick the part up at Napa or some other parts warehouse, charge you an additional $150, and also charge you to install the part. I'm not really sure why Jon S. is so flustered. For a guy driving a Smart car you would think he would be used to getting laughed at. His grammar is so bad I can't even decipher what happen. Obviously a miscommunication took place... Speedway Muffler in Rancho Cucamonga on 8th street is the most legitimate exhaust shop in the area. I took a V8 Mustang there a few years back and they did a dual set of Flowmasters that looked and sounded amazing! Yesterday I took a friend's Honda that they just bought used with a typical wannabe fast n' furious fart can muffler loosely attached and in disrepair. We told the guys at Speedway that we needed the car's exhaust to be put back to stock-like specifications, including a new muffler and resonator. I didn't expect how perfect the results would be! Even when parked next to the same make and model it is almost impossible to tell that the new exhaust installed by speedway is not the factory OEM exhaust! As for the long haired guy, he is very nice. He put a movie on for us in the waiting room before he started working on the car. I took my car to Speedway Muffler over ten years ago, the exhaust system these guy's installed is still like new. I had to pay a little extra due to labor it took to properly shape and mount the exhaust system. I never had any problems with the installation or the product. It's been excellent for over a decade, this professionalism is natural to these Gents. Their customer service was flawless, identical to their labor performance. I would only take my business elsewhere, if these guys recommended it. I went to Speedway in Rancho Cucamonga. The owner Dave put the car on the lift andasked why do you think you need one. I told him the other muffler shop told me it was broken inside and that's why it's rattling. They told me it would cost around $400.00. I talked it over with my dad who said to go see Dave at Speedway in Rancho. It turns out the heat shield was loose and it only needed a tack weld to fix it. Dave put a weld on it in minutes and didn't charge me anything. I didn't know that kind of honesty existed. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for him saving me $400.00.
