I went to Bob's muffler today to get a Flowmaster 44 series installed on my Jeep Cherokee. No doubt Bob is a master at his craft. It was amazing to see Bob bend a new exhaust system from a single piece of tube. Truly artistic! The new exhaust system was installed perfectly and the welds we're second to none! Highly recommended, it's the only muffler shop all ever use! read more

Told Bob to make me a custom 2.25 catback, and his skills kicked in. He copied the exact bends and curves from the stock exhaust, also his welds are great. I really recommend this shop definitely a 5 stars read more

Bob's Muffler Shop - My car and Bob - Auto Repair Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I am lost of words to describe how grateful I am for Bob and his services. Incredibly helpful, friendly and so honest about work needed. I prolonged getting work done on my truck because I thought was going to be extremely expensive and I couldn't anyone ( being a female I have trust issues with mechanics). Bob made me feel confident about the work being done. It was done so quick and at a reasonable price. Thanks Bob! read more

Best respond for a single phone call. Thank you so much. I really appreciate. Really high recommendation

Quick and easy fix to my Catalytic Converter. Good price and very friendly.. highly recommend.

THE REVIEWS DON'T LIE! First of all what a nice guy! Bob gave me a ride home after I brought him my car. Then drove my vehicle to my home when the work was completed. As far as the numbers go he gave me a quote right up front for 2 converters and stuck to his word. My vehicle has several issues but Bob eliminated my converter problem then put the vehicle up on the rack and gave me a 101 on the converter system. So in basically one day he did all that! Impressive! Here's the breakdown of this review: Customer Service: 5/5, Effectiveness: 5/5, Pricing: 5/5, Nice Guy Factor: 5/5, Wait Time: 5/5. OVERALL RATING: 5 Stars ***** read more

Bob did a great job on our '04 Subaru Forester, and I would highly recommend. He's professional, direct, and easy to work with. He saved us like 2300$ compared to the dealer, and we were previously thinking about scrapping it. It runs beautifully now. It's like we got our old car back. I would definitely recommend. read more

I had the absolute worst, most offensive phone call with a business today. I was harassed and called an idiot for calling his business, using the number listed for his business on a Sunday. My relationship with Bobs Muffler started great! I took my car in to have a down pipe installed on my Saab 9-3 about 2 - 3 months ago. He offered and insisted to drive me home while I wait which I accepted being I was just around the corner. About 20 minutes later my phone rings and its Bob calling me saying there is a problem and he was on his way to pick me up. We get back to his shop a he tells me he didn't know how to work on the Saab and he suggested taking it to a Saab specialist but once I'm good to go to come back and he would "hook me up with a really bitchin cat-back", as he said. He was really cool very nice and eager to help. Now that everything on my car has been taken care of and it is ready for the exhaust, I went ahead and looked him up on the map app on my phone. I called. This was our exact conversation. Bobs, "Hello this is Bob.", Me, "Hey man, I brought the Saab in a couple months ago for a down pipe installation that was unsuccessful (chuckling as we thought it to be slightly funny a few months back).", Bobs, "Ok.......................", Me, "You don't remember me?", Bobs, "No..", Me, "Oh. Really? Ok well...", Bobs, "No!.... Why are you calling me on a Sunday!?", Me, "I uhh, was just calling about getting some exhaust work done.", Bobs, "Well not today! You can call back tomorrow and try to talk to me alright see ya.", Me, "Ok. Hey, am I offending you by calling your business on Sunday?", Bobs, "Well no, I think you're kind of an idiot or something but" Me, "Excuse me?" Bobs, "Just go to bed bro." and hung up on me. Now what the hell is that?! Is that really how you treat a customer? I mean seriously what the hell!! It made no sense to me at all. If you are not open on Sundays, then why are you answering your business phone? On top of that, why are you going to answer your business line on your off day and harass your customers for calling. In all honesty, you are an idiot, Bob... read more

My car had failed smog twice and was referred to Bob. He does great work and in a timely manner.

Your local mom and pop owned muffler shop! I called Bob in the morning at around 8:15 asking for an estimate to getting my catalytic converter replaced. He asked me for the make and model of my car and gave me the quote that I needed. I drove down and once I got there, he said he could start working on my car right away! Since my car needed a bit of work it took about an hour and a half to get finished. He finished promptly at a reasonable price. I would definitely come back if I needed any muffler or exhaust work done for my car. Check him out if you need anything of that sort replaced! read more

I was referred to Bob for a new catalytic converter on my Toyota Echo about 3 years and 70,000 miles ago. I was expecting an expensive, time consuming job, and was pleased to be out the door for a couple hundred dollars in one afternoon. When the check engine light came back on last month, the Orange County AAMCO who checked my light code said I was looking a new catalytic converter for $1200 (are you crazy, my car isn't worth that!) Luckily, I still had Bob's number. Sort of like my dad would have, he consoled me a bit and told me that some high mile cars get this way: they burn oil and kill cats. But, he said he'd take my little car for the day, make sure a cat was really what she needed, look around for a potential cause, and keep me posted by phone. Sure enough, he called a few hours later and said he'd found an old crummy O2 sensor that he could replace and it might help the next one last a little longer, no guarantee but it didn't hurt to try. He gave me a deal on the replaced catalytic converter, giving me another at 2011 prices, since I had to return so soon, and I was again out the door in one day for under $350. What can I say? If she's still running in 60,000 miles, I'll bring her back to Bob and still have spent less than the $1200 quote from AAMCO. I will admit, this is not a swanky 24/7 muffler shop, but if you want an honest answer from a guy who has obviously been doing this for a while, Bob is your man! Important note: The yelp address is outdated! The shop moved a block west to: 8714 Lion St Rancho Cucamonga, CA read more

They did an amazing job on our Ford F-150 adding some sound to our old ugly. Thank you again.

My second time here; both times for catalytic converters, and both experiences were exceptionally positive. Bob is a straight up guy...very competent and honest. Bob's Muffler Shop - The view from the waiting room - Auto Repair Near Me - Rancho Cucamonga, California

I was referred here by my auto repair guy at Rancho Autocare. I have an exhaust lead and Bob took a look at it. He was honest in telling me that it would be covered by the dealer warranty. Thank you for the honesty. He could have done the work and charged me and I would never have realized it. It's great to run across ethical people like this. A great experience. Will come back anytime I need muffler or exhaust work. read more

This guy bob is horrible at customer service. Acts like the world revolves around him and told me I can't sit and wait for my vehicle to be done that I need to drop it off and leave because "he doesn't work like that". All I needed was a few hangars tacked on to my exhaust and apparently that's too much work to do in front of the customer. I do not recommend this shop to anyone that cares about how your vehicle is being dealt with when you are not around. read more

Not a professional. All I needed was a simple expansion of two tubes. After explaining that I need the tube to fit just right, he over expands the tube, and then throws a fit, when I call him out on it. and in his words, "I just threw you outta here, get out!" It was like dealing with a 5 year old that didn't get his snacks on time. Never would I treat one of my customers this way. This guy is joke. Take your exhaust to real welder if you need something done right. I call this type of place "hack and wacks". I had 40 bucks in my pocket for you Bob, if you just would have settled down and did 10 mins of work. read more

I've been taking my cars and trucks to Bob for years. He's always given me a fair price, top notch work, and a friendly attitude to boot. I wouldn't have anyone else even look at my exhaust. I've moved around the San Gabriel valley and inland empire a few times in the last ten years, but Its always worth the drive to go see Bob. He just recently removed a loud aftermarket muffler of my Chevy Colorado. I called him up and sure enough he had a factory muffler in stock. I headed over to his shop and he had me in-and-out in about 30 minutes. He also gave me a VERY nice calender, its almost the end of the year but he told me to come back soon and he will have his 2012' there. :) read more

Very nice guy, straight forward, no BS! Gave me an estimate on the phone and stuck to his words. Even gave me ride home so I don't have to wait in the shop. Then picked me up at my house when the car is ready. Very reasonable prices. Will come back again here.. read more

Spoke to Bob today to get a quote to check my M3 aftermarket exhaust for leaks and possibly just tighten one of the hinges since there seems to be a small leak coming from it. He quotes me $50-$60. Seems a bit over priced for something that will most likely take him a few minutes but he still had the benefit of the doubt. Then he tells me I HAVE to drop it off. Waiting for your vehicle at this establishment IS NOT AN OPTION. In his words, he doesn't "do that type of work". I laughed him off the phone. Will not be bringing my business here. read more

Went to speedway because they quoted me $60.. It was 8:30 in the morning and they were supposed to open at 8am.. So I called bob's muffler asked if they could match the $60.. And I know for 100% they said yes.. However once they started working on it he said no .. That He never said that.. What a joke.. He did get my truck in and out in a matter of no time and performed a great job.. But I don't appreciate liars. Honesty needs to be the root of a business and this place doesn't have my trust read more

I got a new catalytic converter here a while ago and then recently i discovered a crack in the pipes! I called up Bob and he told me he to just bring it in and he'll weld it up for me free of charge! BOB is great. I went there with what I was told was a flex pipe leak that my mechanic wanted $400 to fix. Didn't know about Bob, but he sounded honest on the phone and had good reviews. He actually found it wasn't a flex pipe but a leak in the flange. Not only did he fix the problem, he cost a whole lot less. My car runs fantastic now. My son's even having his exhaust redone today! Thanks Bob. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my exhaust needs! read more
