Ambiance is decent, a few photo opportunities. Service is bland, no connection with the servers. Food was prepped good and cooked easily.

Thin sliced brisket and pork belly

The parking in front of the restaurant is pretty cramped but the parking lot across the street is meant for the business! Pretty new Korean BBQ restaurant that has both an ala carte menu and an AYCE option and we were quite happy with what we got! Weekend price (as of 8/2025) was $39.99 per adult for AYCE. Very straightforward. You order items from a menu and they bring it to you. They will help you grill if it's not too busy but expect to do most of the cooking yourself! We sampled a decent portion of the menu and the items we would definitely get again are the following: - Pork belly - Fresh and lean. - Thin cut brisket - Great flavor. Cooks quick! - Korean Fried Chicken (drumstick, garlic soy) - I was quite surprised how good the quality was. The drumstick was huge and the glaze and crunch of the sauce and skin was delicious. - Garlic Cube Steak - This was a sleeper hit. Not too salty and extremely tender. We would 100% get this again. - Steamed Egg - Nothing special (we didn't detect any broth flavorings, just normal egg and green ontions. - Both normal and spicy beef soups - Nothing special - Fried Tteokbokki - We thought it would be in a broth but it was literally as the name suggests. Would pass next time. Overall the staff was attentive and we had a great meal here! Would 100% recommend if you're in the area.

Delicious food and super fast service! Appetizers came out hot and flavorful, and the wait time was minimal. The staff was friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. The ambiance was cute and inviting--not too dark or dull, just a nice vibe to enjoy your meal. I only had my obsession soju, and it definitely hit the spot. Overall, great food, great service, and I'd absolutely come back.

Love the new menu. $39.95 per person for all you can eat. It's a great deal, so many options. Everything was delicious and our party of 6 had so much fun. Edward our server took very good care of us. The bartender made excellent lychee martini's. Nice modern decor.

Ive never been to Korean BBQ. Lots of selection for the all you can eat! 90 minutes of stuffing yourself. Each table has its own grill and the attentive servers seem to control the flame. My friend whose favorite food is Korean BBQ said he enjoyed it very much. If youre into Korean BBQ, this place is for you!

A Culinary Rockstar in Valley Stream! I had been counting down the days to try Rockstar Korean BBQ, and let me tell you......it was absolutely worth the wait! I finally made it there with my daughter, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. I ordered the short ribs hot stone bowl, and it was nothing short of delicious. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced. It came out sizzling and stayed hot the whole time, which gave the rice at the bottom a nice crispy texture. It was filled with tender, flavorful short ribs that were sweet and savory, along with steamed white rice, sautéed vegetables like carrots, spinach, and zucchini (the only thing missing was the fried egg, unfortunately). The dish was hearty, and flavorful! My daughter got the shrimp dish. The shrimps were massive, perfectly cooked by our server, and came with white rice and a bowl crisp salad. The salad dressing was light, refreshing, and just right. Now let's talk sides that came with the shrimps.....because wow. The macaroni salad? Possibly the best I've ever had, and that's coming from someone who's tasted macaroni salad from some seriously skilled Southern home cooks. The kimchi was equally impressive, fresh, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. In fact, both the macaroni salad and kimchi were so good we ordered seconds! Honorable mention to the side of broccoli which was equally tasty. Our server Min, was top notch, attentive, courteous, and very professional. While the menu was a little confusing at first, we asked for help and were immediately guided with patience and kindness. Valley Stream has been desperately in need of more diverse dining options, and Rockstar Korean BBQ delivers in a big way. They offer an all-you-can-eat option Monday through Saturday and also a lunch menu from 12 to 3 p.m. They stay open until 11, which is perfect for late dinners. I'll absolutely be returning, and I highly recommend this gem to anyone craving incredible Korean BBQ and exceptional service. Rockstar Korean BBQ is exactly what this area needed, and then some!

The service is excellent with an attentive staff. The place has tables with grills if you want to do the BBQ experience. The first time I went with my kids, we didn't do the grills and ordered from the kitchen. My kids ordered ramen and loved it. I ordered myself the short ribs and my kids also ate and loved them. I came back the next day without the kids so I can enjoy the BBQ experience : ) what I love about this place is that they cook the food for you, I am always worried about over or undercooking when I do it on my own, the staff did it just right. I am glad to see this new restaurant in the area and will definitely be coming again to try more options from their menu.

Pretty good! Fast service and calm ambiance! Will be back when in town. Try the pineapple with cinnamon and brown sugar as dessert. Loved it!

Lunch AYCE Menu

Rockstar BBQ caught our attention with it's offerings of AYCE and the variety of sides. The meats were fair quality and most of the sides we tried were tasty (house salad, rockstar fried drumsticks, spicy beef radish soup), but the hibachi fried rice was a huge miss with overcooked and soggy rice. The main letdown was the service. The employees had no desire to be at work and didn't check on the table unless they were called over each time for new orders, even with empty plates lining the edge of the table. Our grill plate was also not changed out during our time there, which was a first for me at a KBBQ. If service improved it'd probably warrant a visit, but I couldn't recommend them based off our experience there for $40 a head.

For starters, our waiter was very friendly and attentive and was able to answer all our questions right away. We ordered the japchae, LA Galbi, bulgogi bibimbap and dumplings. Everything was delicious and we definitely think this is the best Korean bbq in Long Island. A must try & we will definitely be back

Amazing KBBQ! The staff here is so welcoming and accommodating. The food was very well seasons and had amazing portions. Being that it's all you can eat, you really get to try a lil of everything!

How are the prices?

The prices are actually decent, though you would not be able to tell looking at the menu for the first time. For the price, they do give a good amount of food.

I remember this spot being a horrible red neck bar with rude bartenders and disgusting service…read more Not anymore. Awesome neighborhood spot. Came here on Saturday night after a Dru Hill concert in Jersey that ended early (around 9:30am), and since I had a babysitter for the night, I begged my husband to take me someplace for a quick drink since we live in Valley Stream. We got there around 10:15 and stayed until midnight. Paid a $20 entry fee for hubby (they said it was a special R&B night). That annoyed me since again, it's a neighborhood spot. Once we were in there though, the music DEFINITELY made it worth it. I was jammin. The DJ hit every song that made me stand up from my chair and dance. Beautiful, light skinned bartender (with a gap) gave us excellent, attentive service - even once it got crowded. The other beautiful, darker skinned bartender with a head scarf - not so much. That one pretty much ignored us the entire night and paid more attention to serving her friends at the bar. We ordered hookah with one guy and apparently he never put the order in because a table full of women who came in after us got their hookah before us. Once I saw that, I told my husband to cancel ours, which he did. Then a younger gentlemen who was handling the hookah walked by and I complained to him about making a table full of women priority over a couple who was there 20mins before them. He was actually very apologetic and offered to make our hookah asap. We accepted and it was great. Definitely got a buzz. Get the mango and mint. We ordered wings and they never came. Bathroom was super clean. Crowd was mixed with early 30's to late 40's - which was perfect since I'm 41. Don't bother with the fruit punch they have at the bar - they make it straight and offer to mix it with whatever alcohol you want, but it's extremely bland and looks MUCH better than it tastes. Most importantly - I felt safe. We'll definitely be back when we have another mommy/daddy date.

Our server Nickisha was attentive, checked on us throughout the meal, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food arrived hot and fresh, and the portions were generous. Everything was flavorful and prepared just as ordered. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a bit of a wait for our food, but the quality made it worth it. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I'd definitely return. If you're looking for a casual place with good food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, TGI Fridays is a solid choice.

9/18/2026 MIXED BAG THIS REVIEW -- TGI FRIDAYS…read more So y'all... I gave TGI Fridays another try -- on a Friday! TGIF, right? I started with the 3-for-All pot stickers, and let me tell you: THE POT STICKERS WERE DELICIOUS! They came out nice and hot, full of flavor, and were easily the best thing I ate. Honestly, pot sticker it up! I could probably order those as my entrée and be perfectly happy. Next up was the $5 margarita. It was okay, but it tasted more like juice than a margarita to me. I had to add another shot of tequila to give it a little help. After that, we were good! The bartender was nice and the customer service at the bar was good. Then came my bacon cheeseburger. I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived well done. And that wasn't even the biggest problem -- the burger was basically room temperature. No heat, no steam, nothing that made me feel like this burger had just come off the grill. Meanwhile, my fries were nice and hot. It honestly seemed like the burger had been sitting there waiting for the fries to finish. I spoke with the manager, Mr. Neil, and this is where TGI Fridays earned some points back. He was extremely polite, understanding and receptive. He looked at my ticket, saw exactly how I ordered the burger, and understood immediately why I wasn't happy with what I received. I've had a couple of other not-so-great experiences with TGI Fridays, but Mr. Neal asked me to give them another try. My sister LOVES going to TGI Fridays in Valley Stream when we're out shopping, so chances are I'll be back. Mr. Neil also took the burger off the bill, which I appreciated. Great management and excellent handling of the situation. Thank you again, Mr. Neil, for your patience and professionalism. And y'all know I check the bathroom! When I visit restaurants like TGI Fridays, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc., I always check the restroom. To me, the cleanliness of the bathroom can tell you a lot about how a restaurant kitchen is being maintained. THE MIXED BAG THIS VERDICT Pot Stickers: DELICIOUS -- definitely getting them again! Fries: Hot and good $5 Margarita: Okay, but needed some tequila assistance Burger: Missed the mark -- overcooked AND cold Bartender: Good customer service Manager Mr. Neal: Excellent customer service and very professional Would I give TGI Fridays another try? Yes. But next time, those pot stickers might just become my whole meal. Sometimes a restaurant can miss the mark with the food, but how management handles the problem matters, and Mr. Neil handled mine very well. Mixed Bag This -- I give you the good, the bad, and everything in the bag! You received 2 stars for how Mr. Neil the manager handled the situation.
