I miss this place. Always so I'm after my doctor's appointment. Has been closed last few times I've been in the area.

My fiancé and I were in the area and craving Korean barbecue, and we were so happy we came across…read morethis spot! The decor is really nice, the space is super clean, and the service was amazing, fast, attentive, and very organized. They offer a great all-you-can-eat deal, and the meats were delicious and packed with flavor. Everything came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. There are so many options to choose from, including an awesome variety of sides. We tried the fried rice and the noodles and both were so good. I 100% recommend this spot and would absolutely come back.

Maybe it was a miss when we came here. We came here to eat for my birthday…read more We ended up ordering Hibachi meals, as we didn't want to do the BBQ option until we tried the food itself. My plate came out hot, but my rice came out lukewarm. It wasn't hot at all, which was strange. Then, another plate ordered came half hot, meaning half of the plate was cold. How does this even happen? So we had both sent back to ask for actual, hot food. I'm unsure if they cooked the rice more or just microwaved it, as it was more on the mushy side and tasted a bit "burnt" when it came back. The other plate did come back hot this time. The food itself was just alright. I've went to other hibachi spots where the food was more flavorful, the sauce slaps and it actually came out hot. The service was alright as well, but it was a bit strange that we somehow were served warm and cold dishes. We had drinks as well, the LIIT was good and the margarita was too. In total, we paid about $140 for 4 drinks and two hibachi entrees. Except, nothing about this experience felt like it was worth $140. I'm glad we didn't take up their offer to do BBQ or we would've paid way more for a mid experience. I wouldn't come again. There's way better out there and for way better prices.

I remember this spot being a horrible red neck bar with rude bartenders and disgusting service…read more Not anymore. Awesome neighborhood spot. Came here on Saturday night after a Dru Hill concert in Jersey that ended early (around 9:30am), and since I had a babysitter for the night, I begged my husband to take me someplace for a quick drink since we live in Valley Stream. We got there around 10:15 and stayed until midnight. Paid a $20 entry fee for hubby (they said it was a special R&B night). That annoyed me since again, it's a neighborhood spot. Once we were in there though, the music DEFINITELY made it worth it. I was jammin. The DJ hit every song that made me stand up from my chair and dance. Beautiful, light skinned bartender (with a gap) gave us excellent, attentive service - even once it got crowded. The other beautiful, darker skinned bartender with a head scarf - not so much. That one pretty much ignored us the entire night and paid more attention to serving her friends at the bar. We ordered hookah with one guy and apparently he never put the order in because a table full of women who came in after us got their hookah before us. Once I saw that, I told my husband to cancel ours, which he did. Then a younger gentlemen who was handling the hookah walked by and I complained to him about making a table full of women priority over a couple who was there 20mins before them. He was actually very apologetic and offered to make our hookah asap. We accepted and it was great. Definitely got a buzz. Get the mango and mint. We ordered wings and they never came. Bathroom was super clean. Crowd was mixed with early 30's to late 40's - which was perfect since I'm 41. Don't bother with the fruit punch they have at the bar - they make it straight and offer to mix it with whatever alcohol you want, but it's extremely bland and looks MUCH better than it tastes. Most importantly - I felt safe. We'll definitely be back when we have another mommy/daddy date.

I honestly think TGI Fridays is one of the worst restaurant companies right now…read more Their website and app are overly complicated and frustrating to use. I have points that are about to expire, and when I tried to redeem them, I was told I could only use two free entrées at a time -- which was annoying but acceptable. Then, for my birthday reward today, the app automatically assigned it to a location in Maryland, even though I live in New York. That's ridiculous. No phone support! I Just took a party of 20 to a different restaurant and decided not to go to TGI Fridays and will probably not ever go back. This kind of broken experience is exactly why they're closing so many stores. Nothing about their stores or their digital platforms feels great -- it's all confusing and unreliable. When I try to pick my store it came up with some chicken place and when I asked the restaurant what that was all about they didn't seem to really know but he said that it was something they did with the online presence but it was also inside the app But it sounded like this chicken place was somewhat associated or affiliated with TGI Fridays. Just a huge turn As for the food, a lot of it is just disappointing. The chicken chunks, pot stickers, and many other items taste like cheap frozen food you can buy at the grocery store. Why would I leave the house and pay $16 for Tyson-style frozen appetizers that I can get for $8 at my local supermarket? It simply doesn't make sense.
