The food was good but not worth the price. They added a 15% surcharge to our bill at the end & didn't tell us. We had 6 people in out group.

Ordered the shrimp and crawfish fried rice and a beer, and damn it the spot. Lots of shrimp and crawfish, good flavor, and a decent sized portion. Raul served us on Friday and again on Saturday night when we decided to return. My dad got the beans and rice and loved it, couldn't finish his portion. I enjoyed the Cajun pasta, again, a healthy amount of shrimp and a nice kick to it. Raul was quick to serve us and we got meals quickly. Personable guy too. Enjoyed the experience.

So I am thankful this places closes at 2:30AM!!! I ordered the Combo #2, market price was only $42.99, which came with snowcrab, 2 lbs of crawfish, sausage, potato, corn. That was a pretty good price for a Californian! The crawfish were okay, the sausage was really juicy and I enjoyed. The snow crab smelled like ammonia ong. I didn't expect much but they should really get on that. The sauce was brown and gritty and soo dang salty! This place was 10 minutes from DFW and open late so I got what I got. Strawberry Daiquiri was basically a strawberry syrup slush mocktail. The restaurant was connected to a food court it appears, and is pretty old and casual. The storage freezers were next to the dining tables. Would never come back for sure, but my server was really nice! I was about to order chocolate cake and homegirl advised me not to LOL!

A friend and I were overdue to meet for lunch, he raved about Po' Melvin's and suggested we meet…read morethere. As I had never been, it was an easy decision as I like to try new places. Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted by the hostess and seated without a wait. Within no time, the server arrived with water and gave us time to look over the menu. It is a relatively large menu with lots of options so I appreciated the extra time. For my entree, I decided to go with the Grilled Blackened Catfish which came with a bed of dirty rice and a salad. While waiting for our food, the server brought out a basket of bread rolls which were very tasty. After a relatively short wait, our food was delivered. While the catfish was not as blackened as I prefer, it was flavorful. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it. That entree comes with 3 sides and give the size of the chicken fried steak, it makes for a lot of food. When it comes to service, everyone was friendly and welcoming which I aalways appreciated. The space is fairly large and seating consists of table/chair combos along with several booths. Additionally, there is a bar area in the back of the restaurant with seating. Based on what I could see, the bar appeared to be fully stocked. There are also a few TVs in the bar area. Overall, I was pleased with my first visit here and will definitely return to try other things on the menu.

It has been on my list to try for a while, so we finally stopped in on a lazy Sunday. It was not crowded at all. We ordered the chicken po boy to split, along with fries and a side salad (for my healthy hubby - but maybe the blue cheese dressing negates the healthy??). The sandwich was HUGE (as my husband likes to say "quantity is a quality all on its own"). I was very glad we spilt it. That said, I could easily be convinced the chicken was a frozen patty, since there was nothing particularly special about it. The fries looked so promising and homemade with that brown patina (think Five Guys), which had me excited, but they ended up flabby and not very hot, insert sad face. All in all, it is another DFW spot I am glad I tried once, but I do not feel the need to go back.

Slow, poor service for mediocre food. How dreadful? Don't recommend…read more A group of friends and I (five of us total) came to Razzoo's for lunch at 1:30pm on Sunday (3/2). While our waitress was nice, our service was extremely slow and she never apologize for the blatant delay in getting anything. I asked for a straw for my water and it took 20 minutes to get that (not joking!). I asked for a cocktail and it took 30 minutes to get it! She even came to the table to ask us if we wanted anything, while we were waiting on our appetizers to come and I was waiting for my cocktail! All I could say was "yes, my drink." Her response to that was "it shouldn't take much longer." Ten minutes later, it arrived. I was annoyed! Another friend asked for a beer and he never got his drink. Never. Like it didn't come. And this was never acknowledged by anyone. No apology. No follow up. Nothing. Another friend has a glutten allergy, and nothing on the special "glutten free menu" was actually glutten free! My friend seriously looked up the ingredients on everything from the list and all of it had glutten in it. She asked for a manager to discuss this, and came over. She ended up getting a salad and they spend over an hour to identify a glutten free dressing they had, which she ended up just having ranch. It was not good service. The food took over an hour to arrive. Again, I'm not exaggerating. It arrived lukewarm and nothing really to write home about. The chicken wings were weird to me but not bad. They tasted like they were cooked in old kitchen grease and then some Cajun seasoning was thrown on them. THE OYSTERS WERE TERRIBLE!!!! They were tiny, and didn't taste like anything to write home about. Disappointing to say the least. After the meal ended, the manager came to our table to thank us for coming in, but all of us were so outdone but didn't feel it was worth saying anything because what difference did it make at that point. We were all finished eating, and she didn't ask us about our experience so we didn't kick her while she was down, but this experience was awful. Nothing was comped and nothing was taken off the bill. There was only like 3 people waiting tables in the whole restaurant, which had about 25-35 people present. It wasn't enough to provide good quality service. I can understand if you're short-staffed, but an apology or acknowledgement about that goes a long way, and that wasn't done. Waiting 15-20 minutes to receive a straw is unacceptable. Waiting 25-30 minutes for a signature cocktail on YOUR menu is unacceptable. Waiting over 40 minutes for appetizers and over an hour for food is unacceptable. And above all, all of this going with no acknowledgement from staff is dreadful. I won't be back.
