When I came in, the place was packed at like 4pm with a running club there pre-run. (Why they wanted to run in 100-degree heat is beyond my comprehension. This could be why I am fat.) Anyway, we sat at the bar, and I ordered my standard flight which here consisted of 5. I got 2 IPAs, a Kolsch, a summer shandy, and a Hefe. Everything was really good, but the Hefe was my favorite of the bunch. The people were really friendly and chatty. I overheard one of the guys saying they had pizzas and soft pretzels but from the sound of it I don't think they were made onsite. Great vibe, great beer, and cool people. Definitely a place that I would frequent if I were a local.

The bartender was super friendly and when he learned this was our first time in the brewery, he asked what we liked and even gave me a couple of samples to try. I opted for the the Ramble On IPA and my friend got the Groove Tangerine wheat beer. We sat inside and drank our beers, which we both really liked. You could see where they made the beer and it was a cool place to hang out and enjoy our beverages. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived,but some larger groups started coming in as we were ready to leave. If you're in the area and are thirsty, I'd recommend stopping in.

I got a flight that consisted of 5 beers; a Kolsch, Vienna lager, and 3 different hazy IPAs. I liked everything but the Jomo Vienna Lager and the Deep Fuzz DIPA were my favorites. The bartender was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. He asked about other breweries that we had went to and gave input on those too. Good dude. The game room area is really cool with a bunch of pinball machines, pop-a-shot basketball and other games. The food menu looked like it had the type of food you would want in a brewery; nachos, wings, sammiches, pizza, and other stuff like that. Like, "did I just wander into a rustic resort?" levels of big and every corner has its own personality. First stop? The farm market. And listen... I could've spent my entire vacation budget right there. Shelves stacked with homemade canned goods, sauces, jams, salsa, pickled everything, and more pumpkins than Cinderella could handle. Total cozy-country heaven. The grounds are seriously gorgeous. You get these pockets of space that feel secluded and peaceful, almost like a secret beachy cabin retreat dropped into the Virginia mountains. There are tons of tables outside so you can sip and snack in the sunshine, plus a driving range, volleyball pits, and a giant "LOVE" sign that basically begs you to take a photo. Inside, the bar is warm, rustic, and charming the kind of spot that feels like it was built for good drinks and even better stories. They had a food truck the day we visited (I didn't see in-house food options), which just added to that relaxed, festival-by-the-lake feeling. Between the gorgeous scenery, the spacious layout, the drinks, and the vibes? This was easily one of my favorite stops on our travels. 10/10 would go back in a heartbeat.
