Our kitchen faucet sprung a leak the week of Thanksgiving, and after my husband spent five hours trying to fix it himself, we both decided to call in a plumber. I looked on Yelp because of the trusted reviews. Brian of Rocket Plumbing is hands down the best plumber we have worked with and would highly recommend his work. We called on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30p and he committed to coming first thing on Monday morning. He was exactly on time, came in to assess the issue, and gave me three options for a new faucet. He was fair about the price and the installation costs. He said he could get our model at his suppliers outlet, and he offered to run over there to pick up the faucet himself. He called me from the supplier's and told me what models were available, discussed styles, and gave me the price. He was gone less then an hour, and returned with a higher quality model then we had picked up at Lowes. He installed it within about 30 minutes and the entire job was done in two hours, including the errand he ran to pick up the faucet. Brian was very professional and friendly. He gave me options, discussed styles and quality of models, and gave me a fair price. While it was an expense, I do not feel he overcharged me. By the time he was done, I would've given him a tip! That's how much I appreciated his trusted service. I had him give me 5 business cards and I will gladly pass them along to my friends and neighbors. SO GLAD to have found Brian with Rocket Plumbing! read more

We have used Rocket Plumbing several times, and they are always great. Jake and Tyler were prompt, polite, and very helpful! They were able to diagnose all of the problems right away and fixed things quickly and left everything very clean afterward. We definitely recommend this company! read more

These guys are just the best. Mike came quickly (with friendly co-worker also named Mike) and did a great job. Immediately understood the issue and fixed my gutter/surface drain perfectly. Whew. Highly recommend! read more

After a turnover in my tenant unit, the outdoor patio drain was backed up. I tried to clean it twice with no progress. Rocket came within 24 hours, diagnosed my issue, and had the right equipment to resolve it within an hour or so. Service mans was respectful of both the tenant and the cleanliness of the tenant's unit. Explained to me everything they did. Totally satisfied. read more

Seriously awesome. I just bought a place and this is my first time calling a plumber. I called them up and they were at my door within 45 minutes. Z and Ryan were friendly and professional. I've definitely found my go-to plumbing provider. read more

12/31/15 WOW - these guys are great! They came out in October to unclog my tub and the price was reasonable and the rep was very helpful and friendly. I called back yesterday because my tub was draining slow again, and I got an appointment for the next day. Two reps came out and found that the problem was easily fixable and showed me how to do it myself if it happens again. These guys are honest and are really looking out for the customer. I always assume I'm going to get ripped off by any type of service rep, but I really trust Rocket Plumbing. I highly recommend them!! read more

I hired Anthony at Rocket Plumbing to rod my sewer line. He came to my house, charged me $900 to get 3/4ths of the way thru the job and told me that my sewer lines were disconnected. And that I'd needed to break up the concrete in my sidewalk and replace the pipes. As he delivers this news, a guy standing next to him (wearing a jacket from another company) hands me a $5,000 estimate. I found this to be suspect and dubious. If there is a bigger problem, I want to know that the original company I hired doesn't have a link to the company getting the much more expensive job. So I hired another sewer firm, Trenchless Innovations, that charged me $250 to complete the original job. They saw no indication of any problems with the sewer lines. read more

I highly recommend Rocket Plumbing based on my experience today with Danny and Jimmy. I had messed up some piping behind the wall of my shower when trying to remove the tub faucet, and Danny was somehow able to fix the issue without tearing apart the wall and tiling surrounding the faucet. Even though this wasn't an emergency situation, Rocket was able to send over the guys within an hour or two of when I had called. They got my problems taken care of for a flat rate in just a couple hours. read more

Loved they put safety first and showed up with a mask. Jake and Tyler gave worse case scenario as well as best. Told me cost of all needed to be done. Jake did not push the most expensive fix yet the fix that was needed only. People need honesty I couldn't afford the big fix neither plumber new this and still gave me the best job for my needs. Thanx guys definitely my go to.plumbers from now on. read more

I had one of the major sewer company come out and they were not able to free up my sewer clog. A neighbor recommended Rocket Plumbing they came out quickly and addressEd the issue and were able to Jet the line within 45 minutes. The crew of Ryan and "Z" were extremely proffesional and glad to answer all of my questions. Their pricing were less than the competition. I would highly recommend them. read more

I have used Rocket several times- they have fixed common issues, replaced our sub pump and most recently come to the rescue with our steam shower. Each time they provide service, they are professional, charge fairly and always stand by their work. I would like to do a special shout out for James who just finished installing our steam shower. I would recommend Rocket to anyone without hesitation! read more

I had Rocket Plumbing replace toilet internals and repair a shower faucet handle/valve. I was impressed with their timeliness and workmanship and would use them again for any plumbing work. I've used this business twice now--once in an emergency when my washer decided to spew GALLONS of water into my kitchen & once to have them assess a possible leak in my bathroom wall. These guys are great. They're very kind when you call and take time to answer questions and gather as much info as they can. The response time is crazy fast. The plumbers themselves are such professional, kind people. They took the time to explain to me what the issue was. They even looked at a much smaller issue I showed them (it prolly wasn't even worth their time) & told me how to fix it--down to the store I should go to--just because they knew I'd save money fixing it myself. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Called Rocket because my toilet wouldn't flush. I was surprised they could work me in within 30 minutes because they had a plumber in the area. Sure enough, Geoff came by and fixed the toilet and 2 other items I had to deal with. He is young but extremely confident, explained everything in detail and then got to work. He was done within an hour. I'm impressed and relieved because I thought it was going to be a long, drawn-out ordeal. Can't say enough about Geoff and Rocket Plumbing! read more

I was so impressed with the quick and thorough response that Rocket Plumbing gave to my inquiry! I reached out for help with a leaky toilet - and the wax seal and the flange ended up needing to be replaced. Their bid was competitive, and Sam did an amazing job! He arrived right on time, was very thorough with his work, did a great job explaining the task at hand, and really improved the overall appearance of the bathroom (not to mention things are now in tip-top shape!) I'll definitely call them again. read more

This is the second time that I have used Rocket Plumbing, first for a toilet repair (done quickly and professionally) and this second time for fixing kitchen sinks that were simply not draining anymore as well as similar issues in the master bedroom. Jimmy and his assistant arrived on time, evaluated and noticed that my faucet was leaking (an issue that happened after I'd called to schedule appointment). The drainage issues were explained and shown to me, estimates on the spot, and all the work done in a neat and timely fashion right then. I even got the faucet replaced which I had figured would have to be a separate visit. I am super happy with their service and will use them again next time the needs arise. It's nice to have a plumbing service I feel comfortable calling. (Should mention I found them on yelp the first time I used them! Am happy to report Yelp was reliable -- you always feel you're taking a chance when getting home repairs done in Chicago, right?!) read more

Wonderful service! Had quite a bit of work done on our home over two days. Jake and Tyler were very courteous and professional. They explained all the options for correcting the plumbing issues, went over the pricing of each option, and answered our questions. They arrived when they said they would, completed the work in a timely and professional manner, and went over everything when they had completed the work. Rocket Plumbing came highly recommended by family members, and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to others. read more

Cancelled appointment 20 mins prior to service window closing day before holiday.

All the reviews are right, this company is good. From the very beginning when I left a message to set up an appointment, Brian called me back literally in 2 minutes. He showed up just a little late but called to advise me which I appreciated. He was installing a new faucet in my kitchen and after the disaster with the previous plumber I was a little leary. I live in an older building, so the pipes and fixtures are old but that did not prevent him from finishing the job, it just made his job a little more difficult. I was impressed with the professionalism and service exhibited by Rocket Plumbing, Brian finished the job after having to make a couple of runs to the hardware store for parts. It's clear he's experienced and knows what he's doing. Very professional and friendly. The cost was higher than expected but I would not hesitate to call them again. read more

I found Rocket Plumbing on Yelp, and called regarding a busted garbage disposal. I just had my technician leave my place, and I'd recommend RP to family, friends, and the Yelp community at large. Booking the appointment was painless. Tony arrived when he said he was going to. I wasn't given a 4 hour window like a cable technician. During the installation of my new device, Tony was extremely professional. Tony left my place as he found it. He worked quickly. He patiently walked me through how to maintain and upkeep my new disposal. I'm happy with the pricing. I'm happy with the service. Great customer experience. I'll be using Rocket Plumbing for future needs. read more

I've had Ben back to do more work at my house (completely unrelated to the first job), and I could not be happier. Ben works hard and quickly. Again, I was impressed with his dedication. I also appreciate that he takes the time to explain what he is doing. I would absolutely call Ben with any of my future plumbing needs and recommend him to my friends. read more

I worked with Rocket Plumbing on fixing a leaky external water spigot that had ruptured in the winter. From start to finish I had a great experience with Rocket Pluming. With starting a conversation online with Yelp, to a call to diagnose job and discussing a repair estimate, to scheduling an appointment. Their staff was on-time to the appointment, friendly, and able to perform the job in the time they estimates and were very tidy. Additionally their plumbing solution helped mitigate this issue from happening again. read more

I had an emergency gas leak situation involving several of the pipes in my home. I needed to have everything serviced right away and was able to get a response from Rocket Plumbing the same day. They arrived shortly after I called and quickly got to work on what ended up being a two day project. The associate who fixed the pipes was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing to fix the issue. I felt so much better knowing all the steps being taken rather than getting a bill with little to no explanation. I would highly recommend if you need same day service! read more
