Sean and crew showed up promptly. My move took 7 hours and 2 trips instead of the anticipated one trip 4 hours. They completed the job without any complaints and a skip in their steps. If you need to move delicate fragile expensive items or art they are probably not for you. However if you need to move regular furniture within the city they will do an amazing job. I hired these guys based on a recommendation from a friend. Your best bet is to text or call them as they're not as quick to respond thru email. I think these guys are best for smaller jobs and that is what they're used to - like apartment, condo, or 2500 sq ft moves. We had a 5000 square foot home which we lived in for sixteen years - and I think the amount of stuff we had to move was too much for a three person crew. They brought a fourth person on the second day but it still seemed somewhat strained. As a result, we had to hire them for two days. Guess who finally moved all that stuff out of storage into their new home? ME!!!!!! I had requested quotes for my moving job that would be removing all my stuff from storage in San Leandro to my place in the Central valley. They were prompt with the quote and i Chose the 3 movers for $140/hr deal. Day of move: Met me in San Leandro at 945 am. The truck was filled before noon and we headed on down. The drive was about 90 mins. By the time they unloaded the truck and placed everything where i desired, along with not damaging anything, it was about 345pm. The drive time costs a lil extra. Maybe it was time and a half. Can't recall. However, I was pleased with the job. $1000 including tipping 3 movers. These guys were great and super friendly. First time we hire them and will call them for the next move.They moved us in/out quicker than I thought !(House to small 1 bedroom apartment with heavy furniture... including a huge Ikea wardrobe that wasn't made to be moved around). Everything arrived in the same condition (even this really old cabinet that I didn't think was going to make it but is now in the perfect spot). They also followed the exact tetris-style set up I gave them. Scheduling was also very easy and Sean answered every call and question. Even helped me last minute with something else I requested. Quick and easy to schedule. They were one of moving companies that don't have any weird hidden fees, very straight forward hourly fee that includes everything. I got a 2 man crew for a 1 bedroom move (and I have some heavy furniture). They came in the morning as scheduled and moved everything quickly by the afternoon (they also take an unpaid lunch and return quickly). They do not have mattress protectors but it wasn't an issue. They fit my big flat screen TVs between furnitures and no issues. They also helped with putting my mattress back together! Everything went smoothly and I am recommending them to all my friends! Fantastic moving company. Honest, reasonably priced, reliable and very responsive. I had so many questions for our big move from SF to LA (with 2 kids!) and Ray (the owner) answered them all. The night before our move I realized we had a lot more stuff than would fit into a 16 ft truck and I text Ray. He called me back in the morning and was super chill and managed to get a bigger truck for us. The move was delayed by 2 hours but I was so relieved they got me a 24 ft truck! Also they just charged a little more than what was quoted so it was totally worth it for the peace of mind of having all my stuff fit. They were very upfront with pricing and details and made the move relatively painless given we were moving a lot of stuff into an older building in San Francisco! Timing took a bit longer than originally estimated, but we made it work given their hourly rate is pretty good. A nice group of guys that worked hard and quickly, making sure to put things in the rooms I wanted in a three-level townhouse. The job took longer than I initially thought, but mainly because I ended up moving more than I had planned, not needing to be out of my old place for a few weeks. But they were ready with the right equipment at no extra cost to get my extra things moved. The only thing I'd suggest is that they often put boxes on top of each other in the rooms. Since they knew I just had surgery on my shoulder, they could have considered that stacking boxes made going through them that much more difficult for me. Had I mentioned it before they left, they would have done something about it, but cable had just showed up as they were finishing, so I didn't realize it until later. One little note is that I had a heavy entertainment center I wanted to keep, but it was decided that it was too much to transport up to the third level of the townhouse. One of the guys had spent time trying to break it down, though I suggested not to for if we do put it out for someone to get. I did appreciate him trying, but in the end, it was just extra time added to the move with his attempts, as they ended up putting it out for someone else to have. But all-in-all, I'd recommend them. read more

These guys are great! As an independent contractor in the fashion industry, the struggle to gather all the supplies i need for my small business is real. A friend of mines found a great table on Craigslist Tuesday morning after I had just got back into town from working a job in SoCal, but it was way to big and bulky for one person to move.
