I'm normally a big fan of Rocco's. Been going there for years, normally with 8-10 other people. They've implemented a policy on large groups, to add a fixed gratuity to the bill, whether you pay as one bill or individually. This was communicated to us, but not the amount/% as we ordered. When it came time to pay (yesterday we each paid individually), I asked (as well as others) what the tip amount we had prepaid. Average bill was something like $15-$17. Repeatedly the server suggested we had each paid $1 or $2 dollars and she said her screen really didn't quote the exact amount. So most of us added $3-$4 more. Of course when I got the text after I paid I realized we had 20% automatically added, and with the $3 I added beyond that she received something like a 35% tip. Pretty good for a burger, and a beer. Rocco's please be honest, and also train your wait staff to communicate the tip % and such. I have no issue with preset gratuity for large parties, just the way this was handled. This guy is seriously considering taking his social group elsewhere for lunch. read more

Rocco's is ok in my opinion. There are a lot of bikers there on the weekends it's kinda iffy. Not the kind of place that I would bring my kids. The food is ok nothing special. Lots of locals there if that's your thing. The staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. I just wish it wasn't so loud there. read more

We stopped in here hoping to catch the OSU football game. We ordered beers and some nachos to snack on. The beers were good. The nachos were great. They put queso on the plate, put the chips in top and added shredded cheese. It was really good. The chips did get a little soggy by the time we got to the bottom of the pile but they were still good. I didn't give them 5 stars because our waitress seemed to be pushing us to order more food. Went there on a Thursday for lunch with about ten friends. The food was delicious and the waitress was awesome. I had the patty melt with fries. Very good. All of my friends enjoyed the food and the outstanding service by our waitress. We ate in the main dining area. Well kept and great atmosphere. Looking forward to our next trip there. read more

An unexpected surprise. Stopped for a soft drink and snack because we had time to kill before an appointment nearby. Ordered the grilled hotdog. Food was very good. The fries were hot and crispy. Great venue to listen to music, sing karaoke, play trivia or Singo. There's something every night. I love the bands. Friendly family-like atmosphere. Menu has something for everyone- awesome wings, salads, burgers, salmon you name it. Sunday brunch is great too. Definitely the go to for entertainment in Pickens County. read more

Worse food ever! We went there and ordered the Bison burger with fries. The whole thing was inedible. The Fries were so drenched in grease that it tasted like plastic. I think they had re-fried old fries!t The burger had no taste, it smelled funny and it was not worth the $16 price. Only half of the burger was eaten and not by me. We told the waitress about the condition of the food only to not even offer to replace or give us at least half of the price. She said She would tell the Mgr. who only offered a 15% discount which was $2.00 (why even bother). The whole thing was just a terrible experience. Worse $24 bill for not having eaten ever spent. When we arrived the sign and server said sit anywhere you find. After getting to our table, we were quickly met by a server. After she took our drink and appetizer order three more servers came to our table to be sure we had been helped. So, our first impression was great. Our server came back to our table several times, refreshed our drinks and said our food would be coming out shortly. It was a busy night so we accepted the fact that our meals might be a little delayed. However, when tables around us, who arrived after us, were being served and it had been over and hour since we had placed our order, one of the members of our table went to check on our order. When the table next to us received their bill to pay, we reached out to the manager. It took almost two hours for our dinner to be served. The manager never came to our table to acknowledge the delay or to apologize. I contacted Rocco's Pub a few days later to speak with a manager to provide feedback. I really wanted to like it, especially after reading the reviews on the burgers and sides. The burger wasn't flavorful, the bacon was rubbery, and the tomato white/pink on the inside (not ripe). Stopped here for lunch because we were on our way out of town and were traveling with our little pup. Rocco's was listed as having a dog friendly patio on BringFido.com. They have a nice little patio that has fans and they bring a bowl of water for your pup. The only downside is that the outdoor patio is not covered all the way and is very sunny and hot. They do have leash hooks for your dog too. The wait staff is so friendly and the food is good. It's always nice to be able to have a sit down meal and bring along all the members of your family...even the four legged furry ones! read more

The food is horrific,service was non-existent and my wifes martini tasted like it was olive juice dipped strait out of the 1 gallon jar used for making the olive burger sauce. Can't think of a reason not to give five stars. We had really good food, really good service, and a really good time listening to the karaoke singers. They are said to be known for their chili, so I ordered the chili mac, which was actually a huge bowl of piping hot chili and linguine topped with cheddar cheese and onions and 2 pieces of garlic bread, for a very reasonable $7.95 that I was not able to finish. My s.o. ordered the Tuesday special, which was a plentiful plate of tasty beer battered shrimp, cooked perfectly with steak fries. ($9.95) Others at my table said they enjoyed their dishes as well, which was a bowl of chili, elk burger platter, and a chicken tender platter. The majority of the karaoke singers must be local regulars, because we were very entertained. It is a large venue, and have live entertainment several nights a week. My kind of place. Nice people and good food. They are known for their chili so I always want something with chili. If I don't get a bowl or a cup of chili I get chili cheese tots or a baked potato with chili on it. I like the baked potato with chili, cheese, onion, bacon, & sour cream. Mmmmmm. They do their jalapeño poppers with cream cheese (not cheddar) and that's the way I like em. My tip - get a side of sour cream with them. The food was ok. The prices were pretty alright. Nothing special just normal bar food. The music was really loud though. They do have a live band if that's your thing. Havent been here in a while, but usually the service and food are great. This time the food was good but not great, ordered Bison Burger m-Rear came out well done and dry! The Wings were very good, as were the Mushrooms and steak fries... the reason I am giving this 2 stars was due to the poor service by our waitress Cecelia.
