Both were good, In my opinion the breading on the fish was far too heavy. I prefer a lighter tempura type breading. That said, I removed the breading and the fish was very good. We came for a Sunday Brunch for a party of 4 adults and 1 toddler. I ordered the pollo loco, loved the dish, but I thought It was a bit too salty, a bit over seasoned, had to drink 2 cups of water. The French toast was amazing as per my frd. We also got the shrimp & grits, didn't get a picture but the shrimp were huge! It was also a bit over seasoned. Nice place with good food fresh not frozen. Bar was full but the restaurant had plenty of seats on a Saturday night. All the chain restaurants in the area had long waits. Service was good. I would go again when back in the area. They have music area also that had a band at 9pm (cover charge). We did not stay but they sounded good in the sound check. read more

Our bartender, Kayla, was super attentive and sweet, the clientele was so kind and familial and the food was so damn good. Laiken is the best. She suggested the Caesar salad and green beans as sides. Best ever!! Homemade dressing and croutons. The prime rib is one of the best I have ever had. The crunchy coating has so much flavor. The meat is tender. Sitting outside was perfect this evening. Laiken was an excellent server. The owners of Sixes Tavern love music and the local artist who share their passion. From AC/DC to Willy Nelson the bands that come meet everyone's head banging toe tapping genre. The staff are extremely accommodating, and we certainly have our favorites (shout out to Hannah, Autum and Sophie), and at present have not found any staff that are unworthy of a compliment. Warning people truly let their hair down at Sixes Tavern and the dance floor may get crowded and you might have a completely unknown "co-party-er" hug you but it's all in the spirit of having a good time with friend new and old. read more

Got a take out order lunch on Sept 19. We ordered two philly cheesesteaks that could have been perfect if they had not used a mass market hoagie roll that appeared to be a glorified hot dog bun. The contents of sandwich were perfect. I transferred the contents of our sandwich to roll I had from Publix bakery and it became divine. One of the cheesesteaks had modifications (no mushrooms no mayo) and was prepared exactly as ordered. The burger and fried pickles got a good rating. I wanted to love the fries but they had an old oil aftertaste and I did not eat most of them. I suspect we just had our timing wrong for the fresh oil. This was our first try with this restaurant and we will be back. read more

We have been here maybe 30-40 times and it is always consistently amazing food. Everything we've tried has been amazing. Staff is always great. The entertainment is usually pretty good! Sometimes it is slightly too loud but still good! We also come up when they hold bike night and that's always a great time! Highly recommend checking it out. read more

The Sixes staff was accommodating, capable and completely unflappable with our post baseball game party of nearly 30 people. We pushed our estimated arrival, one rain delay at a time, until finally showing up more than two hours late, and only one hour before they closed. We were boisterous, wet, smelly and starving, but soon we were sated with delicious food. We are were visiting my son and grandchildren from out of state and tried ordering from a local restaurant (Sixes Tavern) and one of the meals ordered was the Tex Mex Pasta. I would have liked to have tried this but unfortunately when our door dash order arrived this item was not in the bag. So, my son called to let them know it was left out, fully expecting the restaurant to make it right but we were made to feel like we were not being honest and that it was somehow our problem not theirs. There was no offer to send a replacement. We would have been willing to even drive to the restaurant and pick it up. Instead we were told we would be refunded the amount of the meal, which we have not been as of yet. Not sure if we ever will be refunded and not sure if the $20 is worth the effort, but certainly a lesson learned. And I also feel obligated to let others know to be careful when ordering from this restaurant. Not sure if it falls on DoorDash or the restaurant, but neither followed through any solution. read more

Came here on Valentine's Day for a special event with live music. We reserved a table for $100 which came with 4 $5 drink tickets. So tickets were roughly $20/person. Atmosphere: 4/5 stars. Average looking country bar and grill with a stage for live performances. Older crowd, 35-65. Sound and lighting were decent for the performance. Enjoyed the music and dancing. Food: 3/5 stars. We came on a very busy night so I am sure the kitchen was somewhat overwhelmed. I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp, black and blue burger with tator tots, and wings. Bacon wrapped shrimp were cold and bacon was undercooked. Burger was good but the blue cheese topping was so cold it felt kinda frozen, tator tots were also cold, wings turned out great! Again it was super busy that night so I would definitely like to give the kitchen another shot. Service: 5/5 stars. Everyone was friendly, lots of servers to help out with the packed crowd. Drinks and food came out quickly. We were checked on often for refills and service. They had quite a bit of security who were also friendly, no incidents while we were there. read more

Saw some good reviews and gave this place a try from uber eats. Man I guess I need to carry spices when I travel. The food was so BLAND, like beyond. The mozzarella sticks were $12.5 , if they are good no problem. First its 4 mozz sticks and its just fried string cheese. Please add some Italian seasoning and salt atleast. The marinara was tomato water no flavor. The meatloaf was dryer then saltine crackers in my mouth with no water. The burger was decent, honestly a bar/grill should have a bomb burger thats a standard. Luckily the bacon added the little bit of salt much needed on the burger that was also bland. The baked potato was pretty good, I added the meatloaf into the potato and ate it that way. I am from Atlanta so its has been a long time since I had food like this. read more
