Went to Buffalo Cafe and sat at a booth in the bar area. When the waitress stopped by our table asking what we would like to drink, we asked for beer menu and instead of providing a menu she just pointed to the bar tap area for me to look from a distance what beers they served on tap. Then I asked if they had anything on bottle or can, and her response was "yes but I am not going to go over the list of all beers" and then she said "you tell me what you want to drink" (I guess the customer is supposed to go through a list of beers playing a guessing game what they could have? but she couldn't tell us what they have?). So I ordered something on tap, then asked her once again at a later time if they didn't have a beer menu, she repeated again that "we don't have one, and I am just not going to go over all the beers that we have". She brought our meal, and I mentioned to her that seemed odd that they just had new menus rolled out and did not include beers in the menu. Then she said, they had a drinks menu (what!!!) "but is over there", pointing to where it was (which by the way it had to be like 10-12 steps away). So I asked her, can we see it? and she brought us the drinks menu. It was one of the older waitresses. Her attitude was sort of she couldn't be bothered with tasks that are part of her job or who knows what was going through her mind, but sadly she was just so oblivious to how ridiculously stupid her responses were. After reading a lot of reviews a lot being bad I decided to give this place a try. Loved the decor and atmosphere. I ordered scorching wings traditional with blue cheese. The wings were cooked almost perfect and the sauce was really good. I expected a little hotter but I'm not complaining. The blue cheese was really good and the service was good. It was a lot better than the reviews I had read. Guess some people cause them on an off day. I'd definitely go back again. read more

When we pulled into the parking lot, we weren't sure if we were at the right place or not - there's no signage. The greeting was very unfriendly and we waited 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us after being seated at a table. We almost left. Once we finally had a waitress, it went rather smoothly until it was time for the check. The food came quickly, but was underwhelming. The.best part of the chimichanga was the queso cheese sauce. The filling was mostly tomatoes with a small amount of chicken chunks. The tea was good. Salad was okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff, but the chimichanga was on the "local favorites" menu. That was a immediate turn off. Second my Santa Fe cheesesteak wrap I believe they left the steak in Santa Fe. It was also dry. I had burnt peppers. I was steered here by one of my coworkers. I had never been to the Buffalo's in my hometown but heard great things about this one. Bash night, where you can pay a flat fee for all you can eat wings and curly fries, is a great selling point to me and why I prefer coming on Mondays and Wednesdays. The wings are always hot and fresh in whichever sauce you choose; I've had the hottest (Death Valley) and the mildest (Garlic Parmesan) and enjoyed everyone I've tried. Service is prompt and efficient, especially when you need a refill during and after Death Valley. The inside is kind of dark and feels a little like a dive bar, but I enjoy it and consider it first when I'm in the mood for sports bar food. read more

We just happened to be driving by this buffalo's and were wondering why it was not busy? We stopped in anyways thinking maybe it's because it's a Sunday around church time. My we were wrong, the food was okay....my husband's pork pile came out cold not even a little bit warm. We never got any peanuts brought to our table before we got our meal. The waitress was hardly ever seen and there were no more than 6 tables in the whole restaurant that were taken. I just was not pleased compared to others we have really enjoyed. read more

Well... it's okay. There's nothing terribly wrong with Buffalo's Cafe, but there's nothing particularly right with it, either. This chain specializes in buffalo wings and other standard bar food - their burgers are actually pretty good - and there is absolutely, positively nothing approaching 'healthy' on the menu. That's okay, though, you don't come here for that sort of thing! Their smoky bourbon BBQ wing sauce is very good, though the wings are a little overcooked and drenched in too much sauce for my taste. The 'garlic bread' that comes with their dinners is just a piece of tough white toast that looks like it was covered in butter but has been sitting under a heat lamp so long it's sort of dry and tough by the time it reaches your plate. Prices are a little high for what you get. Overall, the place is unobjectionable, but I can't see myself suggesting it as a first option anytime soon. Not really a fan.. had a bad experience, found a hair in a wing, I ordered a Bahama mama and it tasted like orange juice and vodka bahama mama has rum in it not vodka and their wine was so sour I'm pretty sure it was a very old bottle. Service wasn't the best either. read more

This Buffalo's is not all that bad despite the reviews. It gets crowded some nights due to bash night but hey it's all good. The good here is consistent to others but never got bad food here and prices are reasonable. The service might be hit and miss but we had no problems tonight. read more

I stumbled into Buffalo's around 9:00 pm, exhausted because I had been awake since 5 o'clock in the morning. Our server was very friendly, and her zest was enough to rouse me up a little. I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered...something like "kickin' chicken wrap." I chose the curly fries as my side, envisioning the tasty orange ringlets you can get in a paper cup from Arby's. The portion size was nearly perfect. The wrap was a little spicy and contained fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, etc. with ranch dressing on the side. I dipped the wrap in the dressing in spite of myself. The fries were not what I expected, just regular fries sprinkled with a little seasoning. Still, our server remembered to bring me water with no ice, so how could I not be a fan of this place? read more

Lunch Dec 19, 2011 We were driving south on 75 and drove about 3 miles to eat at this location. Very friendly and warm decor and feeling within restaurant. Especially like the faux water tower with weather vane outside - very cool. I am sure if I lived in the area, this would be my local hang out! Appetizer was fabulous! The homemade potato chips drenched in buffalo chicken sauce and grilled chicken chunks. Very unique and different than most places. The Apache Chicken Wrap was awesome. Just big enough and very flavorful. Server suggested a side sauce for dipping. I chose the Chipotle Ranch and it added to the Wrap and made it even better. At our table someone also got the Country Fried Steak, smothered in gravy with green beans and mashed potatoes - all for like $5.99 ...WOW! Would recommend getting a side salad with your meal, it is only a $1 More and was a full bowl, filled with tortilla strips instead of croutons ( nice touch), cheese, bacon, tomatoes and onions...and their homemade Ranch dressing was very very good. I use to love this place, but it seems that the wings keep getting smaller.... While the price keeps growing. The wings are usually overcooked, but the burgers/sandwiches are typically ok. The old servers and managers seemed more personable, but the new staff seems more 'always busy', even though the place is usually empty. Like I said, decent sandwiches/ burgers, but avoid the wings.... They'll just make you hangry!!! read more

Good food. Clean. Okay environment. Prices are okay. Could probably be lower on some things. Service is a toss-up, it could go either way. We used to go here all the time. The food was always good. The service was almost always pleasant. It's always clean. And, if it's not too crowded or your not seated next to the bar on the weekend, the environment is really relaxed and chill. Lately, almost every time we've visited, the service has been terrible. Two of those times, we had the same waitress. Without getting too specific and lengthy, here's what we experienced 3 out of the last 4 times we visited this restaurant: 30+ minute wait before even meeting our waitress -- however, afterwards, the manager gave us coupons for 20 free wings to make up for it. Slow service (at times very slow/negligent with one particular waitress). Had to ask for something multiple times before receiving it. There was a hair in our appetizer. When we told the waitress, she and another waitress acted as though they didn't believe us and then tried to talk us out of it/convince us that there was no hair. -- We never received an apology from anyone for this, nothing was ever done to make up for it at all. The manager never even stopped by our table to speak to us, which made me think that maybe he either wasn't there or they didn't tell him about it. When they finally brought us our replacement appetizer, it was wrong and we already had our main plates at that point. -- Again, there was no apology for this and nothing was done to make up for it. We still eat here sometimes, but we are a lot more hesitant to go now. Most times we just pass by it and go somewhere else. :/ Whether or not your service is going to be good or bad is a coin toss. read more

This is a restaurant that you probably had to have a favorite before the decline to keep coming in. Which I do. Their wings are good. Though they are declining in size but rising in price i still get them every time. The food isnt bad. I enjoy it. But as of now the service is always awful. And the food is only ok. Have been going to the Cartersville, Georgia Buffalo's Cafe for awhile and the service has always been bad. Had finally got a good server name Jessica who we fell in love with and was on top of her game. We always requested her, and went their today and asked to be seated in her section. Someone over her name Kaitlyn told her no because it wasnt fair to the other servers that she was getting all the tables. We called Jessica over and asked her where her section was and she had a open table so we moved ourselves to her section and her boss again came over and called her to her office. Next thing we know she is being sent home. This was uncalled for and not professional on their part. We will not be eating their anymore. From the look on the poor girls face and tears in her eyes, I think they let her go and it looks to be some sort of competition with her boss feeling threatened because she is a natural at her job!
