It's all about the sauce(s)! Burritos are really just a very basic food that is successful when you use fresh ingredients. I/we have eaten here a number of times, usually before or after a stumble around of town. I like the room, it's just kinda fun....including the bathroom motif. I like the food and always enjoy it. The biggest Pro are the sauces. Usually I alternate sauces, sometimes something different for each bit. I have had many burritos that are just gut bombs, but Roburrito's makes a tasty one with good flavor without being a bomb. Found this place as I was driving through downtown and I'm happy I was unable to find the place I was looking for!! I ordered the chicken burrito meal which comes with a drink and chips/ salsa. OMG- the salsa is ridiculously delicious; fresh and simple, exactly what salsa should be. The chips were warm and perfectly salted. Meh, it's not that great.. I got the burritodilla combo with steak.. Like previously mentioned, the soda machine is awful.. Everything's "cleverly" named, and doesn't taste like any soda I've ever had before.. Not in a good way.. The carbonations definitely messed up. Next, I get my food. The quesadilla was okay, the tortilla chips were better.. Everything on the quesadilla tasted like it was unseasoned.. The meat used tasted cheap, and like it was cooked from the freezer.. Tough, and dry. The rice was bland.. Not so good so far.. The one good thing about this place is the hot sauces.. Their actually good, and there's a wide variety.. But this is also another negative to me.. I don't want delicious sauces, on a mediocre burrito. Period. I want a delicious burrito, with the option of trying different delicious sauces on it! Or just eating it plain.. I don't have that option here.. I'm not saying their foods not edible to eat without their sauces.. I'm just saying it's not that enjoyable, and doesn't make me feel happy :( The service was okay. The guy at the register was nice enough. The cooks, not so much.. I asked one of them for a to go box.. Without saying anything he grabs a piece of tin foil and hands it too me.. Then forces out the words "will that work?". FYI...rude employee at the Lancaster Roburitto's. So much so that I just threw out their menu. Guess I will have to go somewhere else to be insulted when trying to pick up food. The story.... I was meeting a friend for lunch at 1pm, but she only had 30 minutes to eat so I offered to call ahead and have the order placed so that when we got there, she would be able to eat right away and go back to work. Well, when I call, the guy answering the phone tells me I can't call in an order ahead of time and eat there. I ask him if I can just order "takeout", but then eat it there and he says that's fine (umm, that's the same thing buddy). We get there right around 1 and I ask him if I can just pay for the quesadilla and he gets this weird look on his face and I'm thinking to myself, he's going to tell me I can't pay separately, when he informs me that he gave my order to someone else. He then says, "see, this is why I didn't want you to place your order and then pick it up". I ask him what he would have rather I done and he tells me, order in the store and eat it there or place a pick-up order. No apology. When my friend (who is about 30 days shy of her due date) asks him if he checked the order before selling the food, his response was, "so it's going to be this kind of day". I don't know what kind of days he has, but when I was working in the service industry, I sure as hell didn't mess up an order, then try to blame the customer because I made the mistake. PS, the other employee there looked like Animal from the Muppet's ( long shaggy hair, a huge beard, wearing sunglasses inside). I know this place tries to have a hipster vibe, but the kid looked like an idiot and I find it difficult to believe that all that hair doesn't make it into food. Stopped by for lunch today with my brother and had the Roburrito with chicken. I was hoping for some Cali goodness, but all I got was a very bland burrito. The hot sauces were all cloyingly sweet as well. A bit if a disappointment. I guess I will have to head back to San Diego to get my fix. read more

Came here with a local friend who raced about their burritos. However I got the chicken quesadilla, which was delicious. Small place, friendly staff, and lots of sauces to try. I got some house made guacamole, also delicious, definitely freshly made. I especially loved how the cheese was fried/melted like a crust on the outside of the quesadilla. Went here for the first time with several friends on a recent Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was casual like most burrito joints. Prices were reasonable. This place is the King of Burritos. I have been waiting for this place to be featured on Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It is a dive, but a nice dive. Today I was looking for a different place to eat lunch. Living in Lancaster for two years I have not gone to this establishment, but was on my bucket list. I thought since it was a burrito place the taste was going to be just like that of "Chipotle". I was totally wrong, the ingredients were amazingly fresh and the taste was excellent. I would call this the best guacamole in town as well. I would suggest you start by getting the mini burrito which is far from mini. The flavors and tastes in my burrito were absolutely excellent. We have pretty much eaten in every Mexican restaurant in Lancaster. This will be on top of the list for us going forward. I gave it a 4 star because the choices are limited! Dha! It's a burrito place and they make a excellent one! The Tortilla chips were fresh and awesome! I'm a huge fan of burritos. The quality here varies day to day. You could go in and order the same thing on 2 different days and get 2 different results. I've had better results at wawa and that's pretty bad. My guess is they're in business thanks to the worst burrito place I've ever been to and that's Neato Burrito. In going to be short and sweet, the staff was emotionless not rude or nice just seemed indifferent as if they didn't care about you or your food. The food was mediocre at best, the nachos were forgettable and my burrito was bland except for the guac (the only reason this place doesn't have 1 star from me) and my steak was chewy and way over-cooked.
