I'm not going to Rob's Quality Auto anymore. I had a little problem with my truck. I figured it was the alternator and it was the alternator. Last night the owner called me up and told me it was $642. I got there today and the final bill was $1,022. It's always bait and switch with this guy. This place is awesome! As a woman, having to get car repairs done is always frustrating because you always feel like you're vulnerable to getting taken advantage of (if you aren't a car expert). These guys are so incredibly honest and ethical, they NEVER try to upsell you or make you believe that every repair is dire. If something needs to be repaired but can wait without putting you or the car at risk they will tell you and let you choose. I appreciate this, especially when it comes to expensive repairs. I brought my BMW to rob's automotive on a suggestion from my BMW mechanic Bryan Reese. I had a Fender Bender, and they said they did a good body work. I would never ever recommend rob to anybody. They did more damage to the inside of my door the leather spilled glue on my trim. I had to go back 5 × 2 get them to fix stuff. That was not fixed at the beginning. They left the duckworks out of my. New bumper that was put on, I had to make 5 trips back the last time I went back Joe. The service manager cussed me out and said he's not gonna work on my car anymore, my car is impeccable condition and beautiful shape that made the interior worse than it was ever. I would never go back to there. I would never recommend them to anybody. I will be writing in review like this every week. Until I make this right. And I'm gonna call State Farm worst. Experience, I've had with the pain. Attention to detail in a car in my life. I have had luxury cars my whole life. I would never recommend rob's automotive to anybody for anything. read more

My emissions test was due and the check engine light was on. I took it to the dealership who was more interested in selling me a new car rather than looking into the issue. I'm an Uber driver who frequently picks up from Rob's and every passenger I had from there had great things to say so I decided to give them a try. Not only did they fix the issue, they went above and beyond by running the vehicle through emissions for me so that it was one less thing I needed to do. I was recently in this shop to have my car looked at because I was taken advantage of by another mechanic shop recently and I can't say anything really good about this place other than they communicate really well.. I was charged $200 for a diagnosis of my car.. bmw charges only $99 and provides a video footage of the whole Inspection non the less I was quoted extremely high numbers on work for my vehicle that was actually more expensive than the dealership.. robs shop was over charging on parts and labor by almost 1k more than the dealer quoted me.. all in all they added on fees that didn't exist.. if you don't know much about cars just be careful with this shop guys.. they will overcharge you anyway possible.. after it was said and done I told them I would not be getting work done there and they were not happy about and the tone and mood changed happy I got out in time.. still out 200$ for a diagnosis and 250$ for labor on the diagnosis lol like I said $450 for maybe a few hours worth of work for them. read more

I usually have to go to the dealer for repairs but I Heath about Rob's from a friend and it was great. Nice guys, willing to listen and help solve your problems. I purchased a deal chicken deal for 3 oil changes from this place. It came with a coupon card that offered 15% off of a cv boot replacement. Well it just so happened I needed a new cv boot so this was perfect! I scheduled my cv boot replacement during my 2nd out of 3 oil changes. I specified that I would be on a time restraint and would only have 2 hours for the work to be done. I was assured that would be no problem at all Well things happen, right? The company that sent the part over sent the wrong part. George said that he would have them bring the right one right away and I would still be out of there in time. Well lucky me, they still didn't bring the right part for the second time. I was pretty upset because I had to drive back to Scottsdale to pick up the little girl from school that is my charge as a nanny. So George offered to let me drive his personal car that happens to have the same size car seat I use installed in it. Since the little one I had to pick up was not my child I was not comfortable doing this. But what I nice gesture! So I rescheduled the service for the following day and left after two hours of my time wasted for an oil change. So why the 5 stars? Because George replaced my cv boot for no cost, due to my troubles the prior day. Awesome! Even though this was not his fault, he ate the cost and made the customer happy, hoping I will return. I relocated to this area and was looking for a mechanic to service my car. I read the yelpers and gave this place a try. I took my auto in for an oil change and asked them to check things out for maintenance needs. When I picked it up, about an hour after promised, the guy at the counter said all is good. I got home and when I checked the fluids they were all low, except the oil. For $25 the least they can do is check the fluid levels and tire pressure. Then I noticed fluid in my driveway only upon entering. As it turned out my shocks were worn and leaking. If these guys don't check things when you ask, what good are they. Lets see they didn't check the fluid levels, miss worn shocks, makes you wonder what else they would miss on bigger ticket items. There are so many other places that dot their I's and cross their T's, that I won't ever go back to Rob's. read more

These guys are actually trustworthy mechanics! I've been going to Rob's for a little over a year, mostly for oil changes and tire rotations. Not only are they great at getting me in for those when it's convenient for me, but the times I've had other issues, they've not tried to oversell or upsell me on anything. Today was a great example. There was a clunking sound in my car's front end and I took it in thinking I needed new struts on my 8 yr old Prius. Turns out the clunking was from a loose tie rod. I'm guessing most other places would have fixed the tie rod and sold me unneeded struts anyway. Bottom line...I found an honest mechanic! read more
