Beware of this service department unless you know cars really well, and then get another quote or two. Do your own research, too. I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty and the AC/heater blower would only work on high -- nothing on 1, 2 or 3. They gave me an estimate of $452 to replace the blower and resistor. Nope. Went home and did some research on line and found it was a common, inexpensive and easy fix. I bought a new Mopar A/C Heater Blower Motor Resistor on Amazon for $19.80. Took it to my local, amazing garage guy, who popped out the glove box, pulled out the old part, snapped in the new one, and snapped the glove box back in place. Total elapsed time? Five minutes. TOPS. Blower works perfectly. When I asked my local guy how much I owed him for his help, he looked a little surprised, laughed, and then said "Nothing." read more

Today I took my jeep to the dealer for an oil change. I found a coupon from Mopar offering two premium synthetic oil changes for $100.00. When I presented the coupon to the service representative he refused to accept it stating that Roberson Motors is not a participating dealer and that they would lose money if they accepted that coupon . Sad to say they have lost a loyal customer and now I am in search of a new dealer to service my car and possibly buy a new car. read more

Probably the most dishonest shop with worst customer service in the US. The body shop namely Loring changed my radiator due to an accident. Instead of following procedures, they pulled the line to my ac condencer, venting freon on my engine, firewall, windshield, and fresh air vents. After that the service department changed my oil, and supposedly cleaned my engine, and for some reason couldn't see the freon all over the engine compartment. I picked up the jeep later that night after dark, it was done late and had to pick up the fob from the sales department. Thought the jeep may had a funny smell, but I needed to work the next day, so I turned up the stero and drove it home. The next morning, trusting they repaired things right, I started to doordash. Thought I herd a strange hiss from under the dash. And thought I smelled something. With high amounts of freon in the air, you'll quickly loose your sense of smell. I started getting a headach soon after that and felt disoriented and very sick, also saw the jeep was beginning to overheat. I emediatly drove home. That day I drove the car for about 3.5 hours and put on about 50 miles. Immediately after I got home, I called my Dr. And they connected me to poison control. Finding I was exhibiting signs of freon poisoning. (The freon that vented all over the car evaporated and filled the car with a poisonous atmosphere.) Per Dr Instructions I got fresh air and went to sleep for several hours, before I felt better. I took pictures of all the freon, and got samples of the freon on the windshield the next day, when I looked to see what was wrong. Called loring that Monday morning, told him it was unsafe to drive, and it was overheating. I was told to call a tow company, he said to make sure the jeep came to him and he would give them a po number. Found later that day the jeep had no freon in it, or maybe .46 grams, I'm still unclear, since I'm getting 2 different stories. Loring didn't want to pay the $500 charge from service to fill the system and had all the freon from the system removed, anter service had filled it. Nobody told me there was no freon in it when I picked it up. Loring must have plugged in the fan sensor in when he got it, because when it went back to service the cooling was working, and it wasn't overheating. Johnny from service called me, told me the ac wasent working because all the freon leaked out, and I was lying saying it worked before I brought it in for the radiator change. Told him it was obvious they pulled the ac line and sprayed the engine compartment, thats why it was out of freon, and I have pictures. Again I was called a lier and that the body shop wouldn't do that. Then charged me $1955.00 to replace the condencer and lines, after it passed a vacume test ... 30 lbs for 20 minutes, showing no leak. I've gone as far as I can to realize there not going to make this right, and i have to make them make it right. Not only did they give me back a car that was unsafe to drive poisoning me, they needlesly charged me for a repair there own shop botched. I had to figure out how I was going to get evidence, which if you think about it is ridiculous. I'll include pictures of the freon covered firewall and engine. But will include a side by side picture of my new cabin filter, next to the old oil soaked one, with less than a month of use. Mind you the car sat in the shop for 3 weeks Unfortunately these aren't the only issues I have with them ... ... but if I would have lost consciousness from being in a confined space with a poisonous atmosphere and crashed my car, it could have killed me and several other people. With my job, I DRIVE ALL DAY. they need to be held accountable, and not be able to do this to anyone else. Also I'm going to take even further steps soon unless Management calls me to work this out!!! Freon boils at 65 degrees. It didn't get there till the next day, causing most of it to evaporate. Almost instantly, filling my car with a poisonous atmosphere. read more

I'd never go here again. Took jeep in 2 months ago for check engine light. Got called twice, first time said it would be $600, second time said it would be another $600. Took 2 months for them to put new head on and new intake on. in that 2 months I called them over a dozen times and left messages for them to call me back and they never once called me back in return to my messages. Finally called me when Jeep was done and total was $2,800. Big difference between $1,200 and $2,800. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Their communication sucks! Now jeep has a major oil leak but I'll fix that myself over taking it back to them. read more

Roberson's service department took 3 months to complete a repair after initially being told this repair could take up to 1 month. When I picked up my vehicle there was visible mildew and an order in the Jeep. The service department initially relayed intent to resolve the issue. However the owner of Roberson's has now declined completing the necessary work in order to resolve the mildew. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE!!!!! The service departments job is to take as much money from you as possible without fixing the issue on your vehicle. They take advantage of being the only Jeep dealers in Salem. We paid $260 for Roberson Motors to diagnose the reason my engine light was on. They some how took the engine light off (probably from a reset machine) and told us everything was fine. ONE DAY later the engine light was back on. We took it back to the service department where they told us it would be an additional $250 to diagnose the problem!!!! ??? Wasn't that why I paid the original $260 in the first place?? Not only did they not diagnose the problem but they couldn't even tell us why they were asking for more money. An associate said and I quote" we have charged someone 5 times to diagnose the problem before finding the problem." read more

I have had too many experiences that do not meet the level of service that is expected for simple oil change, or other issues that my Jeep might have. I had front and rear bumpers and a camera replaced due to an accident. Out of those 3 things, they are 0 of 3 getting it right. Both front and rear bumpers and crooked. The new camera is foggy and I can't see anything. They never attached the wheel well plastics to the new bumper. I had to contact them and eventually had to just show up there to get answers. They said they would take care of the issues. But here I am several weeks later and I have not heard from them. If you like your car or truck, don't take it to them. read more

I bought my $37,000 jeep wrangler from here. I've taken it in for several oil changes and a recall and I swear every time I had to wait forever before they actually started on it; even with an appointment. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if they were at least friendly and acknowledged me as I stood there waiting to be helped. They hardly even look at you. Listening to them answer the phone I can tell they are annoyed by customers. The work they've done has always been good as far as I can tell. Maybe they are under staffed. read more

Stay away from this dealership. I drove 300 miles to look at a truck I was told it was solid. Brought cashiers check to just buy it after inspection. Upon inspection I found the front diff leaking and the front seals leaking on both sides of the axle. I was provided the service document and initial inspection document and found the dealer tech had also found these issues but the dealer chose not to repair them. I offered to buy the vehicle still if it was repaired or the repair cost was subtracted from our agreed upon price. The general manager told me they were not willing to do either of those options. I declined to purchase the vehicle. Hopefully the next guy that goes to buy that red 08 dodge 2500 diesel on the lot finds the issue before he purchases like I did. Just really awful they weren't up front and honest when I asked about mechanical issues. read more

I saw a car (2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee) advertised on their website as NEW, when I inquired about it, I found out not only was it NOT New, it was being driven around by someone who had put 7,200 miles on it. That is false advertising !! Bait and switch or wheaver, but they advertise cars as NEW when in reality they are ONLY considered new because they have not been titled or registered to anyone other than the dealership. BEWARE the shady way this dealership tries to get people in the door advertising vehicles that are not as they appear. read more

Never will I ever go back to this place. The service department is the worst and refuse to admit the problem with my 300 is do to the same problem that they said they fixed but in fact didn't. . It all started when my car wasn't taking gas. Every time I went to put gas in my car it would take the guy 20min to pump gas.i took my car into the Chrysler dealership where they kept my car for 3 days and said they fixed the problem. .not so 2 days later the check engine light came back on and I took it back to them and the said the code was coming up with a evap leak. Well by then my warranty had expired. I must mention that a year ago I had a flo-master installed on my car never had a problem with it. That being said the service department is trying to tell me that this is the reason why my car is coming up with that code and they refuse to fix my car. I am glad I listen to a friend and went to Withnell dodge who were happy to help me out with my problem and assured me that the flo-master has nothing to do with it. . read more
