Matt is an awesome and friendly guy. I took my week-old Ford Escape to a friend's farm and let it bake in the 95-degree sun under a well-water sprinkler for a couple hours and got TERRIBLE hard water spots. He did an amazing job getting them out and applied a paint sealant so my idiot-self won't have to worry about country sprinklers too much for the rest of the summer. He did a really nice job and finished an hour earlier than he predicted! I saw a few leftover spots and he jumped right back up and redid the windshield for me right then and there. Thank you Matt, you earned two loyal customers today! Quality/personal service, fair prices, supporting a small business owned by a nice dude - what more could you ask for? read more

Matt does a great job making our cars look like new. He and his crew are professional, they don't miss a spot, making us feel like we are driving a new car off the lot (minus the new car payments). Everything is polished inside and out, from bumper to bumper, top to bottom. My headlights look like new, carpets are clean, windows sparkle. Even the engine was cleaned. I've had both of our cars cleaned by Matt, he never ceases to impress me. He's honest and trustworthy. Highly recommended. read more

I sent a text to Matt while on our way back from a long road trip because of the positive reviews. We'd been hiking, swimming, and generally tracking mess into the car. On the way home the kids even spilled Mountain Dew all over the back. I knew I was giving them a huge job and I was not disappointed! When I dropped my car off Matt gave me a ride home. What service! My car was ready early and as beautiful as they day we bought it. I have no doubt we'll be back regularly and I can't recommend them enough. read more

I had Second Chance Automotive come and detail my mothers 11 year old Toyota today, Matt and James were VERY efficient, kind, and made her car look as close to new as you can make an 11 year old car with cloth seats. I would recommend them highly !! For a very small fee to cover their travel, they will even drive to Portland and detail your car right in your driveway !! Thank you Matt and James !! read more

He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and honest as the day is long. My coworkers actually went into the parking lot to look at my car after Matt delivered it to me at work - on time. Excellent work, can't recommend highly enough. I had a kind of last minute request and had limited time to get my car detailed, and they ended up arriving early and finishing early. Meet the Business Owner: Matthew M.

My love for cars started as soon as i knew what they were. the moment i could hold a wrench i was fixing and repairing, cars, bicycles, you name it. My previous career path had me as the production manager of a cleaning and carpet cleaning company. After quite a few years of that it gave me the experience necessary to start my own venture. I could detail cars for a living, I could seek my passion and keep cars looking beautiful. So using my core values as a person, i crafted the plan and created, Second Chance Automotive!

So I had 2 repairs at the same time. Before i went my driver window worked. After it didn't work. (They tried to say preexisting) I had pictures of it working AT the accident, they also made my key not work in the door. And i had rear damage. They didn't do the back bumper correctly. It wiggled and was soft. When I inspected it more they forgot a shock exorbitant in the bumper. I went back and the general manager said my 2014 car was so new nissan says it's not needed anymore. So my car is so old the window wont work but so new they are changing things? I went to nissan of salem to check. There have been no changes to the bumper and it's a safety thing. So I was lied to about the safety of my car. This was lewis st. This all happened in a 2 month period.
