I brought my 2018 Chevy Volt here for a steering issue. Before making the appointment, I specifically asked if they handled extended warranty claims and was assured they did them all the time for the warranty I have. After their diagnostic, they claimed my steering column looked damaged from an accident and told me the car would ultimately need to go to a collision shop. Would not provide me with any evidence for the claim. I knew for a fact the car had never been in an accident. Despite this faulty explanation, they charged me $200 for the diagnostic and wanted approximately another $1,300 before sending me down the collision-repair route.Their explanation made no sense, so I took my vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. The reality:The actual problem was simply that both front struts had failed. There was zero accident damage, and the repair was fully covered under my warranty at the other shop. The takeaway:I paid $200 for an entirely incorrect diagnosis, was falsely told my car showed signs of an accident, and was pressured for another $1,300 for a problem that had nothing to do with a collision. This service department is either incompetent at diagnosing a straightforward suspension problem, or they simply did not want to deal with a warranty repair. I paid for an inspection that failed to identify the actual problem, and had I trusted them, I would have been out thousands of dollars. Made an oil change appointment with Austin in the Quick Service department. Arrived and was told by Austin it would be a 2 hour wait... why make an appointment? Why even go there. First off, I would never recommend buying a Chevy. Their aspirations far out pace their ability. So many technical and electronic issues that it's an amazing inconvenience to operate. If you contact the service department, expect to spend 20 minutes to half an hour on hold just to be able to speak to somebody. You'll be passed around like a bad cold. Bought a brand new Chevy suburban in for service because it just stopped driving on the freeway, shifting into neutral. They said this is a problem that happens periodically????? I had to coast off the freeway. Took them a month to replace the engine, which they said was the primary malfunctioning part(????). During the time they lent me two Silverado's, neither of which operated efficiently. The first one appeared to shut off periodically, so you could not accelerate. The solution was to turn off the engine to restart it. I've never seen anything quite like it. The second one has so many electronic glitches it's not funny - both brand new Silverados. In short, avoid Chevy and all costs. Horrific service on top of very questionable vehicles. Oh, and one last thing, the person who operates a rental vehicle section, if you go there, you know who it is with a bunch of tattoos and piercings is rude and appears to be looking for an altercation. read more

I took my C8 here because it wouldn't save driver settings and the front lift button didn't work. After 2 weeks, they still couldn't fix it. Then they told me replacing a module would solve it -- but when they called back, they said it costs $3,000 and still wouldn't fix the problem. How does that make sense? Miss Yolanda greeted me during the cold snap with a warm smile. She lead me to Miss Connie who quickly put me in the system. UNETHICAL, ZERO HELP! TWO lemons in a row. 2025 broke down at 10,000 miles. Traded it in for a 2026 and give them $5,000 more bucks. It broke down 4 times in 2 months, 3 of which in a week and a half! Final straw was going 40 miles an hour down the road and it just shut off. Could have been killed! Sold it back to the dealership the next day at a massive loss after they told me they didn't know what was wrong but were going to bring in a "field technician engineer". This tells you all you need to know about this dealership - my lemon that they couldn't figure out what was wrong is back on the market less than 48 hours later. Watch out, Robbin Chevrolet service department are scammers. I took my truck in for a recall on breaks and had to wait 2 days for them to fix it. During their inspection they stated that the only thing needed was a heater hose and it would be over $700 dollars. I picked up the vehicle and still had the issue, so I went back for them to fix it. They said that there was a brake leak, when I know there wasn't. They then proceed to say I needed now a $2000 dollar repair. I declined and drove the truck home to see that they had changed my rubber brake gasket to an oversized one. I went to Auto Zone and bought the right one for $5. I then had the brake booster scoped which they stated was leaking. The scope showed no signs of leaks and was immaculate. I had Firestone do an inspection and said it was air in the line. I had a very frustrating experience at Robbins Chevrolet. When I picked up my truck, I immediately noticed the damage--my side steps were bent the second I stepped on them to get into my vehicle. When I brought it up, the service team claimed the steps were already like that, which was simply not true. What makes it worse is that all the videos and photos they normally take during service somehow vanished when I asked to see them. Convenient for them, but very suspicious to me. In the end, I was forced to eat the cost of the damage they caused. I trusted them with my truck, but instead I was left with damage, excuses, and zero accountability. Let me start by saying if I could leave a no star review or negative star review they would have it. To say that the service level was less than subpar would be grossly misrepresenting how bad it was. I dropped my truck off for service at 7AM for a standard oil change and by noon I had not received a call for completion and pick up. I decided to call only to be patched through to Mrs Rosie of course she didn't answer, straight to voicemail. I called the mainline and asked for her again, and again straight to voicemail. At this point I decided that I would ask for the service manager. I called the mainline again, asked for the manager of service and held for maybe 5 minutes only for him to pick up and hang the phone up without saying a word. Now I have no choice but to drive to the dealer to ensure that my car is ready for pick up. Only to be greeted by Rosie and service manager at their desks not helping anyone or on the phone. My truck was ready and had been for some time. Again, this service was horrific they were so nonchalant and had such lack of care for customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone let alone ever take my truck again. There are many other Chevy dealers in Houston I took my truck here because It was the closest to my house but for better service I will gladly drive next time. Brought my vehicle in to change a tire because this location had nitrogen air that my tires need. First they replaced the wrong tire. I have run flats. I had to go back a month later under my time to get my correct tire replaced. Each time that I came i have been in the office waiting for nearly 3 hours with no waiting line. The facility was clean and both ladies in the service department of the oil change was friendly and over hearing the younger lady on the phone with different customers impressed me with her customer service and her friendly personality. Brought my truck in because Chevy has a great revenue deal. Try to program keys from home only to get told the programming swiped the original fob. A professional locksmith autonation sent out spent 10 hours trying to program keys to the truck. He had to call Chevy twice for an unlock code which the truck wouldn't except those either. Only to tell me it has to go to the dealer. He tried to program two new keys. When taking it to the dealer the dealer wants 200 for a diag fee 1300 for two knew keys to program to see if that's the problem when the paperwork states the truck is stuck in learn mode. Don't see how the keys will take it out of learn mode. Seems to me this is a great revenue scam for Chevy. It's simply 5 turns of a key. 30 minutes and three pushes of a button swipes the fobs and disables the number two stolen truck in America. Great revenue for Chevy at their guessing games they like to play with other people's money. I am seeking a lawyer as we speak. read more

I didnt purchase a vehicle from them. But I went onto cars.com to check on the availability of a truck I was interested in purchasing. Athena called and texted me soon after and said it was still available and setup an appointment for me to come in. I drove an hour to get there just for one of the sales people at the door to tell me the truck was sold last week. I explained to him that I drove all that way, showed him the text confirming the appointment and he just said it was sold. I mean a simple apology on her behalf would have been nice. Obviously I was pissed and texted Athena back as well to tell her she had me drive out there for nothing. And I didn't even get a reply back from her. An apology would have been nice. Based off this lack of empathy between these two people I would say to steer clear of this place. Humility and empathy are clear signs of good people and thus a good business, but also the opposite holds true. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I found a vehicle online that I was interested in, called a salesman that I had worked with before and negotiated the price. We agreed on number, I sent them all my information company information, insurance and a picture of my ID told them I was on my way and had to stop and pick up a check to pay the balance in full. My salesman said ok they would have all the paperwork ready to go I would just have to show up and sign for it. On my way to the dealership I got a phone call for my salesman verifying that I was on the way, He then tells me that someone else has called in and spoken with another salesman about the same vehicle. I asked him if he was joking and he said he was instructed by his manager that whoever got there first to sell it to them. Again I asked if he was joking and told him he has all my information and I'm on my way with the check to buy it in full and asked if I need to put a deposit to hold it and was told no. As I pull in the parking lot of the dealership my salesman now calls me back and tells me the vehicle has been sold. I then went to speak with Noel one of the two managers who told the salesman to sell it to whoever got there first about this unprofessionalism. I then asked him for the name of the other manager's who was working, Noel then told me to go wait outside of the dealership and he would have it sent to me since I declined to shack his hand when I met him. I then went spoke with the general manager Kenny about this and he said he was sorry but first come first serve, they don't hold vehicle or even take deposits to hold vehicle and there's nothing he could do about it, but they would try and find me another vehicle in the next day or two. Technician work in a timely manner ( well atleast for my car ) but service rep name CONNIE pretty bad at what she does. Went for oil change and brake checkup. Added on ticket suspension diagnostics and forgot to add a ticket for oil change. Had to call to remove the suspension diagnostic after 3 tries and voicemails. Got there and no oil change was done. This place lacks integrity as a business. I purchased a vehicle cash on a Saturday. The vehicle could not be detailed that night, but DJ the sales person stated that it could be returned any day for the detail. I asked about the spare key, I was informed that it would be provided with plates. Plates day comes and there is no spare key, so we are stuck with a $400 bill. Spoke with a sales manager on a Friday and she stated that the detail was not a problem it would be taken care of. My spouse goes to pick up the truck, the detail is not complete and the key that we paid for does not work. They call this morning to state that the key is ready yet again, no detail. When we call to speak with a manager we get the run around and are told there is no manager there on Saturday, but there was definitely one there the Saturday we bought the vehicle. Save yourself the drama and use a company that has an ounce of integrity. In my experience, none of the Robbins company possess it. I had to take time from my busy day to go in and speak with a manager who again does "not even work on Saturday," according to Hailee at the front desk, being hung up on and again getting the run around. Mind you this office if not big and the managers desk is right behind Hailee. Long story, Kenny W, the manager that happened to be there attempted to fix this whole fiasco. The keys now work. If my truck was actually detailed which did not apprar so to me. Sticker marks still on left front windsheild, driver mat not cleaned well. So, I would not use them for detaling either. In front of us, Kenny, told the Nissan folks to reverse the key charge. At this time , the reveral of charge seems to be an issue. We are being told a paper check will be cut. I will update when I see and cash this "paper check." I would give Kenny a better review, but there is still issue with this business, I will not be doing business with Robbins again. read more

Had an excellent experience with the service department and just had to mention it bc this type of customer service is hard to find. I took my Tahoe in yesterday for it's first oil change. We are preparing for a weeklong road trip and I wanted to make sure the car was ready for it. They noticed two recalls and said they could have it scheduled for next week. When I mentioned we were leaving for a road trip the next day, Henry found a way to get the oil change, tires rotated, and recalls fixed on the same day. He called afterwards to let me know it was ready and I told him I would come by to pick it up. I realized later that I wouldn't be able to make it and left a voicemail for him telling him I'd pick it up in the morning. I picked it up a few minutes ago and found out he didn't receive my message, but waited 10 minutes after closing for me to arrive. He didn't have to do that, but he did. I went in to "lease" a car and now I owe $29k to the bank. I spoke with Mathew McGee and told him right off the bat that I wanted to lease a car, not buy or finance. Mathew told me that the car I eventually decided to get would in fact be a lease. Well surprise! It's not a lease, I now have to pay over $500 a month. But too rub more salt on the wound someone crashed into my car. When I called I asked why it was so expensive he stated because the prices when up. Never did they give a quote, no where is it posted any where in the building. I have had several dealings with this dealer recently. I had the quick service side put new tires on and service my Tahoe prior to the holiday travel season. Fast friendly and efficient service. More recently the battery failed and I took it in for that as well as a repair on the rear wiper motor. I was in and out same day with great service at a competitive price. I also recently took delivery of a 2017 Silverado HD the sales staff was professional and the finance manager made sure I got a great competitive rate. The true test of a great dealer is exceptional service at the sale as well as on the service side. UPDATE Sad that I must change my review from 5 stars to 1 as I really do like doing business with these folks. Have purchased several vehicles and also have them serviced there. My last trip there for a quick oil change on my 2017 High Country 2500HD resulted in the theft of an item from my center console valued at over $300.00. I partially blame myself for leaving it in the truck but I was packed and leaving town as soon as the oil change was done. After speaking with the service director it was pretty apparent that nothing would be done. I did file a report with the Humble PD so there would be a record of it. I am in the market for another Truck in the next 30 days so I guess I have to find another dealer now ugggg. read more

I instantly left and called again to speak with a different used car salesman. When I asked the price on the vehicle he told me 52,700. So I explained to him that I just came in and they told me 58 thousand. He called me back after speaking to his manager and told me that they are losing money on the vehicle so they upped the price but failed to mention that before I drove all the way over there.
