I have been taking my vehicles here for tint for 18 years. They are the best- great service, great price and great people. I had them tint the two front windows and add "eyebrows" on a new truck. Was able to make an appointment the same day and was done in about 45 minutes. they are very professional and did a great job. I came because I heard they do tinting for car dealerships, so I figured they must do a very good job. I was able to schedule my car and then reschedule, due to conflicts, with ease. They gave me a reasonable price for the work. When I got my car, I noticed several clear bubbles on nearly every window, but that is just moisture which works it's way out after 3-5 days. One spot on the rear window had about 4-5 white bubbles, so I immediately called and let them know...because I thought this one spot wouldn't work it's way out. Because they have a lifetime warranty, they will take a 2nd look and fix the work, whether it means removing the bubbles with pressure or simply removal of the old tint and re-applying new film. Turns out all the many bubbles went away and the tint job looks great. I highly recommend them....if you go, ask for Ronny. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! My husband purchased a new truck a week ago and wanted to get a bedliner sprayed in to protect his investment. We got a referral from a friend and called Tomball Tinters. They never answer the phone and that should have been the first clue. I had to contact them on Facebook. We made an appointment for Thursday and took it in early that morning. They told my husband that it would be ready later that day because they had several to spray. After they sprayed my husband's truck, it was parked in the front of the building and my best guess is, as they were spraying other trucks, they failed to protect my husband's truck and the overspray from the shop covered his truck. There are tiny dots of rubber all over it. We also noticed a scratch in the side of the bed that was not there before. My husband went up there today to let them know and see what they could do for him. He was not looking for a hand out, but to make it right. If they would have suggested to help with the cost of getting a detail shop to remove it would have made him happy. Instead, the man that was working there came out and was already sure of himself that they did not have anything to do with the scratch or the black dots all over his truck. He told my husband that it was bird poop. Well, if you look at the photos, it does not appear to be bird poop. My husband told him that he just purchased this truck and that he didn't want to ruin the paint on his $00000 truck. He told my husband that he got ripped off on the purchase of his truck and that it wasn't worth $40,000. He was VERY defensive and confrontational. What business acts like this? He did not offer any options other than him taking a rag and wiping it off. That would not solve the issue. If he would have just offered to help with any of the cost of the detail work or acknowledged that the fact that they did make a mistake, we would have been ok with that. We took it to a car detail shop and the owner looked at it and said it was rubber from the bedliner spray and he would have to take his time and scrub each spot and wax it to make it to get it off. This is costing us $343 out of pocket. If you want poor customer service with a BAD ATTITUDE and a business that doesn't answer the phone or care about the quality of their work, you have found the place. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. Had my escalade tinted here Less then 6 months later its peeling. They said they wouldnt warranty it unless I had the original receipt. Even though there name is on the tint they said they refuse to fix it. Due to them not being able to get paid from the tiny manufacturer. This is poor craftmanship. Not a material problem. read more

I needed to replace the tinting on my windows, and having asked around for a recommendation, I was given the name of Tomball Tinters. I sent an email to get a quote and they quickly sent a response. They also said that I could drop in for more information, so I did just that. They had a couple of cars they were working on at that time, so they said to come back in a couple of hours. I had no wait time when I returned. I was amazed at how quick it went and they were so friendly. And, my windows look amazing. I'm so glad that I learned of this place. read more

I never thought I'd write one of these reviews, but I felt the need to warn others about this place. I love supporting family businesses, but this husband and wife team are the rudest people in the business. If you want to waste your money, get belittled, and feel like you've been scammed, then by all means. I wish I never ran into this business, they put a damper on a great town like Tomball. I had my car tinted and it was peeling on all corners, they promised to replace the tint, and after 1 year I still have not received the end of that promise. When I initially picked up the car, the owner was so belligerently adamant that his job was a job well done, that he actually yelled at me. He wouldn't hear a word of what I had to say about the poor job on my nice new car. I have called and spoke to the wife who told me she'd call back. The wife, needless to say, is as useless in terms of customer service. I would never recommend a place like this to any of my friends. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place. read more

We had a great experience with Tomball Tinters. We called them early on a Saturday morning to see if there was any possible way to get in that same day. They said for us to come up at 10am, we were there and back home in well under an hour. They placed big yellow stickers on the window controls to remind us to not role the windows down, which is always helpful, and thus far..we are thrilled with the job done on the truck! Thank you! In 2010 we had our Toyota Corolla tinted to the darkest legally possible tint by Tomball Tinters. Its now May 2018 and the tint still looks perfect. Tomball Tinters was the worst customer service I've ever had!!! First, I had scheduled two tint jobs, one at 8:00 and one at 10:00 am. I arrived right at 8, it was the first appointment of the day, and I was told, I believe by the owner, that they probably would not get to my car today because they first needed to strip the tint, and that I should have told the lady I talked to on the phone, which happened to be the man's wife, that this was a strip job in order for them to schedule the next appointments properly . Well, I have never done this before, and it's their responsibility to ask the right questions so they can schedule their jobs on time.The customers are not responsible for scheduling work! That's not the end of it... The second car that was scheduled for 10 was actually on the book for 8:45! And the owner said that his wife had scheduled it correctly, and when I said that I was positive the car was scheduled for 10 he said that he would "BELIEVE HIS WIFE". In other words he called me a liar! I have never been insulted that way! This is not a serious business, they are extremely rude and disorganized! They need to learn how to treat their customers! read more

Don't give them your hard earned money. They are completely rude! It all started when I went to go inspect their work after my windows were tinted. As soon as I opened my door he immediately said nothing is wrong. I said okay I'm just checking the tint . But it only took a moment until I did notice a problem. My door panel was completely misaligned. I told the guy to come back a look at my door. He said that the panel looks good to him. I said this car is two weeks old and the door panel was not like this when I purchased it. He said not his problem. I walked into office and got the owner to come out and look. He agreed to come out and look. He looked and agreed the panel was off and told the guy to take the door panel off again and realign it. (While in the process of saying that he slammed my door as hard as he could.) Because he slammed my door the way he did I was ready to say screw it and leave but the guy had already jumped in the driver seat and pulled my car in the bay. As soon as he parked he shut the bay door so I couldn't watch. I told the owner I want to watch him fix my door and he said that he will not allow me to watch. While I was standing out side the bay door I could hear the guy just smacking my door. I could tell he was taking his anger out on my car! The guy finished and opened the bay door and pulled my car out. I checked and he had in fact corrected the door panel. When I was getting into my vehicle I heard the owner say have a good day and don't come back! Never will go back to this place! I was never rude to them. I went to Tomball Tinters on April 2, 2014 to have a vehicle windows tinted. The first time it came out they had cut the tint too short on a window and when to ask to have one of them redone, he took the vehicle and started cutting it with a knife, I asked if that was going to damage the window seal and he said "He didn't know but to get the tint up in there that is what he has to do!". Once done, they locked the car where you cannot look at the work. After paying and getting the warranty card, he said that no scratches or nicks would be covered. When we entered the vehicle there was an approx. 3 in. scratch on the driver side window. I went back in and asked the owner to come look at it before we left. He stated that it has to dry. I asked why when you can definitely feel the scratch? He yelled at me telling me "Not to touch it!". He took the car to the back again and had one of his employees replace the film. He then took the door panel off and started working on the panel. I went inside and asked the owner what he was doing. He said "We know how to do our job!" I told him I certainly hoped so. After getting home, I googled their business and found they have had several complaints about the work they do and also how he has hollered at other people, not completed any warranty work and has indeed broke another customer's window motor. I took pictures as his employee was sticking tools into the window panel when it was open after being told he only dropped his plastic squeegee into the panel. I was very disappointed in their service as a professional and the service completed on the car. read more
