Don't be fooled into bringing your car here for work. This establishment is extremely…read moreunprofessional and the quality of work is poor. Sure they may have a lambo always parked outside their establishment, but that's really there to lure you in, thinking the place must be good if they do work on expensive cars. I brought my car here to install a 2-way pager alarm. My initial quote was $440, which is relatively cheaper than taking it to a legitimate shop. I dropped my car off in the morning and they said my car would be complete at 1:00 pm. At 12:30pm I called and asked if my car was ready and they said around 3:00 pm. That's no problem. At 2:30 pm I called again asking if my car was ready, they said 5:00 pm. Ok no worries. I arranged someone to take me there at 5:00 pm, hoping my car would be finished. Turns out they haven't even started working on my car. They started to work on my car after about 30 minutes of waiting. Once it was done, I went to pay. The man behind the counter charged me an additional $40 for "necessary add-ons". I was not happy. I was finally about to get my car out by the time their shop closed. In fact, they were waiting on the technician to finish working on my car before they could close (which made them rush the job). Success, I thought, since my car now had a new distinct chirp when I unlocked and locked my car. I drove back home to Pearland and parked the car over night. I had a lot of issues with my remote start so I decided to take it back the next day since it was already dark. The next morning I inspected their job. There was cut pieces of insulation and bits of wire EVERYWHERE in my car. They did not bother to clean up the mess they have created. Not only that, my 12V port was no longer secured to the dash or even connected. They must have disassembled it taken apart the entire console and forgot to re-attach it. As I started to fix the problem myself, I noticed that they cracked my cup holder. I drove back to the place and waited inside for someone to help me. There were three guys behind the counter eating lunch, not even acknowledging me. I guess lunch time is more important than customer. No respect what so ever. At least they helped me resolve the remote start issue later on. I didn't even bother mentioning the cracked cup holder or 12V port since I didn't want them touching my car again. Overall, I would never recommend anyone to this place. I came here because I was referred by a friend and I wanted an alarm on my car so it won't get vandalized. It's not easy concealing a Glock 19 everywhere you go...

I found Modified using Yelp and after speaking with Sam at Modified, he was able to give me options that met what I needed at a fair price. I was able to schedule a time that fit my day and did a great job. The team at Modified was great! Their waiting area was clean and comfy, business friendly to allow me to finish some work while waiting.

I lost my keys out of town (dummy) and had been calling around 20+ locksmiths. Most places I called seemed to channel to a few call centers that would dispatch a technician. After getting the same call centers and the same technicians I was feeling like my choices were limited. Not to mention I could not get a set price from them. I would speak to one and get a price range with an up to $100 difference "depending on my system." It didn't sit right with me that they could determine the price once they got there, felt like bait and switch. I called a few more places some didn't do key fobs, but one did and referred Joseph. Speaking with Joseph immediately I felt knowledgeable and trustworthy coming through the phone. No fluctuating price to be determined once completing my vehicle. Not having to speak yo 2-3 people before speaking with the tech. A set price and speaking with the owner from the beginning, plus a year warranty on the key fob. Some things you just don't try to save a couple bucks...peace of mind and good service. With Safeco, Joseph, you can skip the headache and get what you need done right and fair.
