I intentionally waited to post this review because I wanted to give the dealership a second chance. After my most recent visit, however, I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning. 1. I was specifically told this dealership was "mod and tuner friendly." Before purchasing my vehicle, I spoke with the finance manager and specifically discussed modifications. I was told, prior to signing, that the dealership was "mod and tuner friendly." That was important to me because I have always modified my vehicles, and hearing that eased a major concern I had about purchasing here. Based on my experience with the service department, I DO NOT consider this dealership friendly toward modified vehicles whatsoever. That became very clear during my latest visit. 2. My driver-side front window shattered within the first 1,000 miles. I was told they had never heard of this happening and that glass was not covered under warranty. From what I could see, the entire sheet of glass had fallen essentially straight down. I questioned whether there had actually been any outside impact, but instead I was presented with an approximately $1,500 bill and a phone number for Customer Relations to see if they would cover it. After spending two days jumping through hoops, Customer Relations ultimately covered it. Then, when I received my vehicle back, I was essentially told they had "tried" to remove all the broken glass, but there was probably still some left and I might hear it over bumps. There absolutely was glass left. I spent about an hour of my own time properly cleaning out the remaining glass, including glass that had simply been left on the floor of the vehicle. For a repair that was necessary on an almost-new vehicle, that level of cleanup and attention to detail was extremely disappointing. 3. Low-oil warning at approximately 3,000 miles. At around 3,000 miles, my low-oil warning came on. Considering I had purchased the vehicle for roughly $35,000 only about two months earlier, I was understandably concerned. I scheduled an appointment and specifically planned to wait at the dealership while a technician inspected it. Before the vehicle was even pulled into the shop, I was told the technician wanted one hour of diagnostic time because the vehicle was "modified and tuned." The vehicle has a COBB Accessport married/flashed to the ECU so that I can monitor parameters while driving. There was no performance tune loaded by me and nothing added that I believed would reasonably explain excessive oil consumption. Yet I was told the "tune" could potentially be causing the oil consumption. Rather than paying an hour of diagnostic labor based on that explanation, I requested an oil change and decided I would monitor the oil level myself. I also specifically asked if the drained oil could be captured and measured so we could determine how much oil was actually in the engine. That was not done. There was also no MPI video provided. The MPI listed my rear brakes at 7 mm on a vehicle with only approximately 3,000 miles, which raised additional questions for me about how thoroughly the inspection was actually performed. And after all of that, a scheduled oil change took approximately two hours. What disappoints me most is that I purchased this vehicle partly because I was reassured BEFORE THE SALE that this dealership was friendly toward enthusiasts with modified vehicles. My experience after the sale has felt completely different. If the dealership does not want to work on modified vehicles, that is their choice. But then customers should be told that clearly before they purchase the vehicle, rather than being reassured that the dealership is "mod and tuner friendly" only to have modifications immediately brought up when a warranty or mechanical concern arises. Between the broken-window experience, having to finish cleaning glass out of my own vehicle, the handling of my low-oil concern, the requested diagnostic time before the vehicle was even brought into the shop, and the overall lack of attention to detail, I've lost confidence in this service department. I gave the dealership a second chance before writing this review because I didn't want to judge them based on one bad experience. Unfortunately, the second experience only reinforced the first. I will not be returning, and I'll also be sharing my experience with the Houston VB community so other owners--especially those with modified vehicles--can make an informed decision about where they take their cars for service.

Within six months of ownership, I had to replace the brakes, battery, address electrical issues, and now a rear axle failure. These are major mechanical components, not routine wear items, and the car was driven responsibly. When I reached out to request a reasonable cost sharing discussion, the dealership immediately shut down any conversation, hid behind the "as is" language, and refused any goodwill assistance. Their final response stated they would not engage further, leaving no path to resolve the issue professionally. What's most frustrating is not that the car needed repairs, but the complete lack of accountability or willingness to stand behind what was represented at sale. Once the transaction was complete, customer service disappeared entirely.

I was offered two options, one fix it for free, and purchase extended warranty if I can or want. Two, cancel the loan and lose my $2,400 DP to make up some of the loses the dealership took. Literally what the salesman said to me! They also messaged me trying to blame me saying this could have been avoided by pulling over and cooling the motor. Which I did and never drove it again. After going back and forth wasting my time with them while at work and in the middle of school classes, I canceled the loan, took a $2,400 DP, $990.00 delivery fee, and $200 diagnostic fee, and towing expense loss because no one in their right mind would keep a car that needs a new engine. I specifically asked about the radio as it looked like it was post-factory installed. The vehicle came with only one key, which was in terrible condition (I'd rate it 7 out of 100). On top of that, the car was never detailed before it was shipped -- the interior was dirty, and the engine bay was filled with leaves and debris, which is shocking for a vehicle with only 38,000 miles. The doors had glue all over them as someone had taken them apart and tried to put them together. None of this was mentioned beforehand and the list can go on! I contacted Angello immediately to address these issues, but after multiple attempts, I've received no response except "I will forward your message to the director" I got a loan for the can and cannot register it in California because Uptown imports did not send the pink slip to the DMV or to the bank (as they are supposed to) Eventually they ended up sending it to me! (WHAT?) How are they in business of selling cars if they don't even know what to do with the pink slip?! This level of communication and customer service is completely unacceptable. If a business can't stand behind what it sells--or even respond after the sale--that speaks volumes. I've waited long enough for a resolution and am extremely disappointed in how this was handled.
