Omega Motors screwed me over and won't make it right…read more I bought a 2010 Mini Cooper from Victor in November-December 2019 and was so excited. Prior to going to Omega I had bought a mini cooper that was a lemon and was very hesitant to buy another one. The previous place treated me well and gave me a refund. I repeatedly explained to Victor that my biggest concern was that I didn't want to buy a car and a few months later have it crap out on me or need thousands of dollars in repairs. Victor assured me over and over again that they would never sell a car in the kind of shape and I could trust their reputation of selling high quality cars. It turned out to be the exact situation I was afraid of. My car immediately began small warning signs including rough transition shifting, excessive smoking out the exhaust, and once it even randomly died when I was pulling out of my driveway. It was also missing an entire wheel stud on the back left wheel. Most of these issues ceased rather promptly and were not expressing themselves by the time I could get it to my mechanic. Then the oil light began going on and off. It would be on for a few hours then turn off for a day repeatedly. Then check engine. When I checked the oil it was almost empty! I changed the oil and the problem only got worse. The engine fan would continue running for up to 30 minutes after turning the car off as if the engine was overheating. At that point I had my mechanic try to figure out what was going on with the oil. My mechanic called me and said the car is in such terrible shape he didn't even think it was worth working on. He said there was evidence of water or flooding damage, which was not disclosed to me! Among the repairs he said were needed were replacing spark plugs, misfiring cylinders, replacing thermostat housing under the hood, and engine coolant. He quoted me $1,200 before he could even start looking at the oil situation, which could be a huge cost after the already massive needed repairs. I called and texted Victor about this because it was the exact thing he promised he wouldn't do to me. He refused to answer my calls or texts for a week. I drove to the dealership and asked to speak with the general manager. I talked to Billie and showed him my quote on the required repairs, and Billie tried to get out of helping me saying, "I didn't buy a warranty so I can't help you." Yeah. I didn't buy a warranty because your salesman assured me that you sell high quality cars. I bought a car from you in good faith that it would be a good quality vehicle. If something small had come up this soon and it were just a couple hundred dollars to fix, it would be no big deal. But water damage, $1,200 in repairs, and THEN diagnose the oil? You sold me a piece of crap and you need to make it right. Billie, the manager, told me that he would see if his repair guys could cut me a deal and he would get back with me by the end of the day. He never called me back. I called and texted Billie for a solid week before he finally answered. He tried to send me to his repair guys but I told him I don't want to pay for repairs, I already know what the damage is and how much it's going to cost. I just want my money back. He said it's not that big of a deal to repair, you just have to have the right guys. Okay dude, so take the car back and repair it if it isn't a big deal. He tried to get out of that but I pushed harder and he said he would talk it over and get back with me that day about whether or not they could refund my purchase or buy the car back from me. I even told him I would be fine with them buying it back at a prorated sales prices accounting for the mileage I have driven it since I bought it. It's been weeks now. He never called me back. I have been calling and texting non-stop since. He is refusing my calls and ignoring my texts. They screwed me over and refuse to help me, including Billie the manager. I will never buy a car here again, and would caution everyone: STAY AWAY from Omega Motors in Conroe! Snakes without even an ounce of decency. See all pictures attached.

I want to tell you the magic question to ask. If you see an online listing for a car at Omega-…read morebefore you drive out there, ask specifically "is this a salvage title?" If the answer is something mumbled about a "rebuilt title," you have your answer. Adjust your expectations on whether the car is now priced THAT good (salvage titles should usually be reduced by almost 50% in value). The issue is we were about to drive a great distance to see a car here. We explained that we don't live in the area. We repeatedly asked him to tell us about the car. He explained that the rear quarter panel had been replaced, but that was it, and that it was the most insignificant repair. We called several times with any questions we can think of. We explained that we would be taking it to a mechanic to get a general inspection of the car's condition, is there anything he can disclose that we might expect to see. Nothing. So I would say save yourself the time and ask this specific question before you go out to visit. If you do decide to buy a car here, ask to see the title first so that you verify that it is/isn't a salvage title. Too bad some people don't have the courtesy to be a little more up front with the information.
