They even stayed late for me to get off from work so I could pick it up!

When my Honda's engine blew and wouldn't even start, This Car stepped up. Parker brought in a specialist mechanic and got it running so they could maximize my trade-in value--I got every dollar possible for my undrivable vehicle. I had already visited three different mechanics who couldn't even get my Honda started! On top of that, I had my heart set on the new Buick Envista. It had just come out and chances of me finding a used one or slim. When I was discouraged searching, the team patiently hunted high and low until they found me the 2024 Buick Vista I wanted. This is the most patient company I have ever worked with. Highly recommend!

They have a great selection of beautiful used cars.

Was surprised to arrive and not find a traditional dealership, but they still have hundreds of beautiful used cars. The process was quick and easy! We found our new set of wheels and will be buying and selling our next car at THIScar

That savings is what led me to choose Tomball Parkway Chevrolet, and initially the experience was smooth and pretty painless. Where things started to unravel was after the transmission replacement was completed. Before bringing the truck in, I had diagnostics run at both O'Reilly and Christian Brothers. Neither showed P0300 codes, the check engine light wasn't flashing, and I didn't have the collection of warning lights that appeared when I picked the truck up. I was later told that new codes appeared during the post-repair test drive and that cylinder #6 was leaking pressure and misfiring. I understand mechanical issues can surface at any time, and I'm not suggesting anyone caused the problem. What frustrated me was the lack of communication and documentation around what was found. After the first day, getting updates became difficult. Abel was responsive initially, but once he was out of the office, I couldn't get answers from anyone else and was essentially told to wait until he returned. I also asked for help getting connected with Marco in Used Cars because, at this point, investing even more money into the truck doesn't make sense. I was hoping to keep doing business with the dealership and explore a trade-in, but I never received any follow-up on that request. When I picked the truck up, I asked for documentation of the new codes and diagnostic findings so I could share them with another mechanic or dealership if needed. I was told the dealership is "basically paperless" and there wasn't anything available to provide. I was told someone would follow up, but I still haven't received anything. They sent me home with a collapsed cylinder that was working when I dropped the truck off.

I called ahead, gave my VIN, referenced recall PC068, and explained exactly what was going on. I scheduled what I was told would be a recall repair. When I arrived, it was set up as a diagnostic instead, which felt like a breakdown in communication and process. After that experience, I left pretty frustrated. The next day, Robert Quarles, the Service Director, called me personally. He had actually listened to the original call and acknowledged that I had been told the recall was open. That mattered. He didn't deflect or argue. He owned it. We had a direct conversation, got on the same page, and he committed to making it right. I brought the truck back in that Friday. They kept it through the weekend and into Monday, worked to reproduce the issue, and when they couldn't get the codes to return, they still made the decision to move forward and replace the IPDM under the recall. Jason, the lead technician, put in the work and they even drove the truck around 100 miles to make sure everything was solid before giving it back to me. They also provided a loaner, which wasn't originally part of the plan. That's the difference. The first interaction was rough, but leadership stepped in, took ownership, and followed through. That's what you want when something doesn't go right the first time. If you work with them, my advice is to be clear and verify details up front. But based on how this was handled in the end, they showed they are willing to stand behind it and do the right thing.

Just to let yall know I have a Jeep renegade just a basic Jeep renegade. I get there and so far all is fine, we look at a couple cars they have there and go inside and sit down. 2 hours later, yes 2 hours later my car is finally done. They told me they weren't able to do a tire rotation because the "lug nuts were swollen", my boyfriend is some what of a mechanic and he's never heard of that before, and we asked a few other people who also never heard of it. I go to pay for the oil change because that is all they did and also replaced my bolt on my oil pan (which I knew was stripped and needed a new one.) The total was $164 for a basic oil change on my basic car. I've never heard of that before, I was so stunned. My bf had a diesel and even that truck wasn't that much. But after going home my bf looked at the lug nuts to see if they were "swollen" they in fact were not, just F-ing messed up, looks like they were beating on them. And not only were they beat up, they didn't have the decency to tighten them in. I'm just beyond frustrated with this. And no they never gave me an estimate before going.

Sometimes, when you go into a dealership for service work, everyone seems clueless about why you are there at least 80 percent of the time. But these two were pleasant and made me feel smart. You see, I bought my mom's Kia's as a gift two years ago. The problem was that she was the one who kept her car in great condition, taking it to the dealership and telling me all about it. Well, things have changed, and I had to take her car to get service. I was clueless, but the nice gentleman at the front desk was so much help without me even telling him I was dumbfounded about what my mom's car needed. It wasn't anything major, just a little oil change and some filters. But it was nice to have him (the gentleman at the front desk) take over and calm my worries Thank you, Kia, for a great team!

So what am I supposed to do, not have a car? This trim is the highest level for the Sorento but doesn't have any ambiant lighting, red seat color options, or heads up display, but the Sportage does? Make that make sense (this is Kia overall, not necessarily the dealership). Be sure to quadruple check the estimates they sign for you. They kept trying to be sneaky and they'd take off what I asked and add it somewhere else. we went through this multiple times which should've been a huge red flag, but I wanted the car and proceeded to buy the car. The only good process we had was with finance - the finance guy was amazing. Then I was told there was only one key and they'd call me on Monday (I purchased it on a Friday) because they couldn't find the other key, but they have cars at 2 locations. Well of course, that never happened. I called 3 different times asking nicely for someone to help with my key, never heard back. Finally I got in touch with Gavin. He never called back, so I called and left a message with the owner for Gavin to call me back. He never did. Finally, I called back the next day & he had an attitude asking why I didn't call him back yesterday & told him I did, so that wasn't professional. Then he said he would have to order one and I would for sure hear from him.... I had it on my calendar to call him because surprise, I still haven't heard from him. I'm beyond over their horrible service and even if I buy another Kia in the future, I will not purchase from Group1 kia (formerly beck and masten). Buy anywhere else, I'm telling you. As soon as they get the sale, they never have and never will care about you. Update: I called and Gavin even though "he swore he would take care of it and not forget about me because of a sticky note on his computer" never ordered my key. Then he suggested I come in two separate times to get the faub and the actual key (neither of which he has). The incompetency, lack of knowledge, absolute disrespect he treats clients with is INSANE. The only reason I give it 2 stars initially is because they have a decent amount of cars to choose from, not unbelievably above MSRP, and the interior is nice inside because of the remodel to the business itself. Go literally anywhere else. I'll be contacting a regional manager to try to find someone who can actually fix an issue they created.

I love my vehicle so far. I guess the only thing I'd say for anyone looking to buy this vehicle: I purchased it because it was almost exactly like the Lincoln Navigator I test drove. The Navigator just had too much tech (and I'm a techy person). This vehicle had just the right amount of tech without being over the top. However, I did not opt for the additional $7k upgrade and wish I would have. Rod mentioned that one of the differences would be road noise. During test driving I didn't feel that I heard much road noise, so I thought it was fine to save some money. It's not "road" noise I hear, but actual car noise. I'd imagine what I'm hearing is what Rod meant and I just didn't understand because I don't deal with this every day. Hindsight, I wish I would have upgraded $7k more. The noise isn't awful, but coming from a quieter Navigator to this, I can hear the difference now. I still love my car, but wish I would have test driven one with and one without the noise reduction to fully understand the difference. Oh well. Overall, a great transaction and we would come back for any future vehicles.
