I searched Autotrader for a particular car. I found it.... Autotrader indicated it was at Thiscar.com. I contacted Thiscar and spoke with Devon. He confirmed it was there but had only recently been brought in and was not available for showing nor sale yet. He assured me he would send photos and let me know as soon as it was available. Later that day it appeared on their website as "Coming Soon". I never heard from him. A few days later I called again and spoke with Devon. He told me someone had already put a deposit down on it. I asked how could it have been sold without contacting me first. He said he would discuss with his manager and call me back. Soon afterwards, the website status was changed to "Sale Pending". I felt as if I was being put on display.The problems denoted were discussed outloud while standing like in a public forum. This was done in front of other customers and was very unprofessional. Feels different than a traditional dealership. It was a relaxed atmosphere and not one sales person standing outside waiting for you to get out of your car. I hate that. I drove across town because it was the car I was looking for and the price seemed to be a good deal. The car was what it looked like online (I tried to negotiate but said their price is fixed, you have to ask right?) I highly recommended them. The absolute worst. We bought our suburban from THIScar Tomball and the first week we bought it, check engine light came on and we needed to replace several sensors, the second week, we had a bad storm, and the sunroof leaked everywhere and my ceiling was soaked...now the 4th week, the suburban is completely inoperable and needs a new transmission.
