Zero stars if I could. Do not buy a car from this dealership! They are greedy and don't care about customers. I Purchased a vehicle from them August 2025 and it was a nightmare. The Vehicle was shipped to New Mexico, drove it for one hour after receiving it, the car started overheating, and left me stranded on the highway at night. Had to get it towed to a local Nissan dealership in ABQ, NM. The engine needs to be replaced and was sent back to Houston. I was offered two options, one fix it for free, and purchase extended warranty if I can or want. Two, cancel the loan and lose my $2,400 DP to make up some of the loses the dealership took. Literally what the salesman said to me! They also messaged me trying to blame me saying this could have been avoided by pulling over and cooling the motor. Which I did and never drove it again. After going back and forth wasting my time with them while at work and in the middle of school classes, I canceled the loan, took a $2,400 DP, $990.00 delivery fee, and $200 diagnostic fee, and towing expense loss because no one in their right mind would keep a car that needs a new engine. Bought a used car from the lot. Salvaged title. They were very clear about the salvage. Happy with the purchase. Would buy from here again. The used car was sold as-is and they are very clear about this. If you buy a used car as-is then have trouble in the future with the car you might have wanted to go spend 4x as much on a new car. Look it's a used car lot. They have clean and salvaged titles they don't bs about what it is they sell or what condition it came in. They are, as far as I checked, within or below blue book value depending on the variables. If you are looking for a used car you could do a lot worse, I recently bought from them and will be updating the review if I can find no fault in the process or vehicle in the short term. Go to the website they keep it up to date and it lists everything about the car in the descriptions including title status and what was done with repairs etc. Worth a look, which is more than I could say for many lots. read more

I came to Houston to buy a truck I saw on AutoTrader. When I asked if Title was clean, no rebuilt, junk or salvage they said it was a clean title. They assured me it was..however when I got the Title it is stamped with insurance buyout. Which means the car was a total loss. Texas may not consider it branded but the vehicle is still low value with the history. I would NOT buy here. read more

I was looking for a nice used Cadillac dts. I had been all over looking just to find that the pictures on line didn't actually represent the car I was seeing. After weeks of searching I came across a dts online at Car Guys in Houston texas, called about it and spoke with Ahmed he assured me that his car was a nice car aesthetically and mechanically. I took the 2 hour drive and wow was it worth it. Loved the car and purchased it. Ahmed was defieitly a man of his word and even went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Do NOT buy here!! Salvaged titles and flood cars!! We made the mistake of buying through Car Guys and after about a week the check engine light came on. The car was wrecked from the flood (after previously being assured by them that it wasn't a flood car) it needed a whole new engine and computer, everything was shot. BUYER BEWARE!!!! We purchased a car from this place. Before the plates even came in the motor blows up and nearly catches on fire on the highway. So, we make a visit to the dealership expecting them to have some kind of accountability for the product they sell. When I arrived to the dealership they made me wait about 30-45 minutes for the "Manager" to return. I waited quietly inside the office. Of course the "Manager" finally arrives and immediately gives me an attitude. There were multiple people in the office who witnessed the unprofessionalism exhibited by the "Manager." Instead of taking responsibility for the issue he blames the previous owner of the car. In the middle of our conversation he decides to just get up and walk out of the office without saying a word. I had to get up and follow him and make him continue the conversation. This car was my wife's first car, she saved up for over a year to purchase it. She is now out of about 3,500 dollars. What I can take responsibility for is not paying the money for the car fax. If we would have done that, there is no way we would have purchased this car. This car had been completely totaled and rebuilt. A very unsafe vehicle that should not have even been on the road. If you want to lose your money or your life I would suggest buying here. If that doesn't sound appealing, save your time and money and shop elsewhere. read more

By far the most unprofessional car seller (wouldn't call them a dealer) I have ever dealt with. Here's the breakdown: 1. They have a fractured sales team who does not communicate with each other about any agreements made with buyer. 2. The manager? is at best unscrupulous and most likely fraudulent. (They sent me a picture supposedly of the car I bought getting 37mpg. Best so far after multiple tanks of gas and resets on long term mpg is 30.1. Don't believe they drove it at all, was still showing 16.9mpg just like earlier photo. They pulled a picture off the web and sent it to me.) I ended up with a car that is not operating properly. 3. I flew in to pick up the car and it was not ready. Check engine light came on, tire was low, car was FILTHY. I'm not exaggerating. It wasn't dirty, it was filthy. I drove 9 hours home in a stinking car. They knew for 3 weeks I would be coming in on the 9th. When I texted to make arrangements (no communication from them after they got the money) the asked what day I was coming in again. It was in a text two above that one and had been discussed multiple times. 4. Said while making the deal if I did not like the car I could get my money back (in writing). In practice, when I showed up, I could see that would have been a problem. I was getting statements from manager? that "the deal wasn't if the car gets good gas milage, you buy it, the deal was if the car runs you would buy it". 5. Agreed (in writing) to pick me up from the airport. Nope. Had to take an Uber. Had to argue to get money for that and never was completely reimbursed. 6. Back driver side door has K U N T keyed in it. Its about 5" by 14". Was never mentioned or shown in photo. Are you supposed to ask if there is profanity engraved in your car before you buy it? If you deal with gocarguys, then the answer is "yes". You may end up with a decent car buying from here. At best, it's a crap shoot. From my experience, they cannot be trusted to either A. Do good work, B. Represent the product honestly, C. Conduct business ethically. You were warned. read more

My husband and I have bought four cars from the Car Guys during the past six or seven years. We have also recommended him to many of our family and friends. And bought one for my niece when she moved here from California...that she loved! We have found, in all cases that the proprietor, Ahmed is a man of his word and the service does not stop when you drive off the lot. On one or two cars, when we had problems during the first 60 days, we just called Ahmed and told him what was going on and they either repaired it at a fraction of what we would normally be charged or, if it was something that they normally would have corrected when they sell you the car, they fix it for free. Extremely disappointed of this place, got a car which worked only 6 weeks when they're supposed to check this cars before they sell them so it's not a danger for you, car stoped in the middle of the highway and almost caught on fire. Once we go there to ask for help the manager attitude was awful he just passed by us not saying a word when we were waiting for him for 30 minutes, explained what happened and he immediately took an avoiding attitude, asked us to talk nicely, we were just explaining him what happened, weren't yelling at all but weren't happy either (guess most people wouldn't be laughing at the fact their whole year savings they spent on a car just went away) so that's the card he wanted to play, telling us we were being mean so he didn't have to deal with us, in the middle of the conversation he just walked out of the office leaving us there, we walked outside tried to talk to him again and he got inside and tried to close the door in our faces EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL so if you want to give your money away this is the place you're looking for because when it was time to pay ohhh boy he was all into our business even when was the nice lady who was doing all the work except getting the money but if you at some point have any issue you might face this kind of situation read more

I was told to come on down that the were ready to service my car (the EVAC system went bad) So I go and get there and a man meets me at my parked car telling me that he can't see me today. I called ahead to see one of the cars they advertised online. I told them we would be there shortly after noon on Saturday. We showed up when I said we would and at first no one even talked to us. Then a young lady eating a bag of chips and dressed in sweatpants, t-shirt, and house slippers finally talked to us. She spent about 5 minutes going back and forth trying to find the keys for the car. When we asked her about a carfax report she said they had their own version of carfax. When we asked her about warranty she said, oh yeah, there will be some kind of warranty. NOT inspiring confidence. She handed us the keys finally and I asked her if she needed anything from us to be able to test drive. She said, oh yeah, I need a copy of your license and insurance. While my husband was getting those things, I went over to the car to start it. It wouldn't start. The battery was dead. So, even though I called several hours ahead and told them we were coming, and they weren't at all busy, the car was not ready for us to drive. We handed her back the keys and left this very sketchy lot. I don't think it was this young lady's fault--she was pleasant the whole time, just ignorant of how to handle customers. I think it is the management's fault. They need to train their employees on how to present themselves and how to offer customer service. We were ready to pay cash for a car on Saturday, and they lost our business for good. read more
