This has got to be THE WORST customer care/support from a car dealership I have ever experienced.
We were interested in one truck and tried contacting not one but two salesmen to find out about it and after 3 days, I finally got ahold of them on the phone. Supposedly that truck was sold.
Well they had another we were interested in so we did the application on a Friday. Monday comes around and they needed a spare person on the app, so we put myself on it. My husband has good credit and they said mine wasn't bad but they needed a second person because this would be a third car loan. We wanted it for a work truck to haul hay and equipment. They originally only wanted 5K down, we were willing to put up to 8. Bank statements, check stubs, all the necessary documents are sent im. Next thing I know all we're waiting on is approval from a bank and after all day with no replies, i finally speak to someone else and he says the other office in Houston sold it out from under them. Next day we're told it was not sold so whomever got approved first could get it.
We are told that we could definitely get it for 8K down if we did in-house financing but interest would be 18-22% so we had decided to try the bank to see if interest would be lower because let's be honest, that's high interest. Multiple days, multiple people. No answers. Sat on hold for an hour one night only to have to hang up and call someone else because they never answered after putting me on hold. Always an excuse about how they were so busy the day before with other customers that they couldn't speak to me. After asking to speak to someone else higher up because he wasn't g3tting the job done (the manager isn't ever there when you ask for him/her), the salesman told us that he just wouldn't sell us the vehicle.
So we talk to one of the financing people, she said we could deal with her from now on. She had to call the bank representative to see why the approval is taking so long. Two more days and every time I call or text her, I get no response so I have to speak to someone else just to finally be told the truck was sold last night after I was told that we had a reserve on the vehicle. After calling today and being transferred to 4 different people, I finally speak to the original salesman and he said they truck was not sold but someone had put a $500 deposit on it but if we wanted, we could still do in-house finance and it would be ours.
So I ask what the interest rate would be etc for the 8K down so we wouldn't have to wait for bank approval anymore, I didn't want to lose the truck to someone else waiting around for the bank.
Now the price down has changed. He said the owner said she wouldn't take less than 12K down on the vehicle from us because we live 2 hours away and because since it was a 3rd vehicle loan it was a risk. The sticker price on this truck was 26K. 8K down is a third of that. 12K down is almost half the sticker price. There is absolutely no reason, besides greed (probably after seeing our bank statements), that they needed almost half down when we don't have bad credit and make more than enough to have this truck paid off in a matter of a couple months.
So now after wasting a week and a half, both of our credit pulled, plenty of money to put down, they have sold the truck to this other person.
Wasted time, wasted effort, and now no vehicle. I have screenshots of everything, including being on hold for an hour and messages (text and facebook messenger) and call logs from three different people as well as the main office phone of me calling every day trying to handle this.
If they are so busy with the people they have coming into the location and cannot handle speaking to people that they attracted from social media posts, they should not be posting the vehichles on social media to begin with.

Just buyer beware. You may not have a bad experience but you definitely can have the worst as well.
